Roxy was my first and only one RC model when I was a kid! Equipped with MVVS 3.5ccm and tuned exhaust - overpowered. Flied only 3 times :D Manufacturer is on your blueprint and stickers in previous video - Jarda's hobby shop. Greetings from Slovakia

Very nice flight, Capt. Blatz. This old plane and engine are from a time when RC flying was a lot simpler. If you got the engine going, made a takeoff, and flew around until out of fuel, you had a good flight. Thank you for sharing.

Great little glow plane.
The V shape of the wing is called the dihedral. It makes the plane self-correcting during turns, especially when there are no ailerons. I like this plane. The tricycle landing gear is cool.

This looks eerily similar to my first rc plane which crashed on maiden- rx battery fail.
Mine was pink and white, though. Came with a thunder tiger engine and all! No ailerons either.

I'm currently waiting for my gopro mount on my fms superEZ to cure so I can get some exciting footage of my flying from the air! I have it mounted on the belly, just behind the landing gear. Real spy plane shenanigans!!

Great flight with nice oldtimer model. Reminds me of the planes we had when I started rc flying more than 40 years ago. As we had been only boys back then with not much money available, each plane had been a balsa kit and the motor had been just big enough to bring it in the air. Of course we had no runway and only 2 channel rc. So each start was a hand toss (never upwards, because of weak motors) and each landing had been a dead stick landing. Thanks for bringing back memories.

Well flown Captain Blaz. if I fly 3 channel, I mix rudder on both sticks! Sounds strange but it means I am never caught out on the wrong stick!

Very nice video of the old Roxy. I looked all over the internet for R/C plane roxy but unable to find any company that sold it. Must be very old indeed. Most old r/c planes they show are bi-planes, or with two wings. Anyway, I was thinking when you tried to start the plane over and over again, and all the trouble. The fuel, the glow plugs etc you must really have to love the smell of the exhaust and the fuel and the sound and everything about the gas engine planes when today it is so much easier to use battery powered engines ha ha . But then it does make for a very interesting video oh yeah!!! Happy Flying

Love that plane flies pretty good engine sound little rough sure Blaz will tune it ,,the best engine I heard was on that flying wing the fuel tank fell off that was smooth fast revving when are we getting the redemption flights and that last hand toss Robert did crash so that 2 wing redemption flights but I knows yous are busy and weather sucks we happy with what we get

when the plane was first brought to runway it stopped running .....it was classic blaz because that just what happens a lot of times .. Everyone with glow can relate it was a very fun video as always

Hey Blaz, something you could do to help counteract your muscle memory is plug the servo for the steerable nose wheel into the rudder channel and the rudder servo into ailerons so naturally you’ll correct it on takeoff :) you probably already knew this
