Great foraging video gents. Intersting looking little cuttlefish and surprised it didn't release any ink in defence, must of felt safe in the Smash hand. Yeah great to see the camo Spider crabs, they attach the weed to there shells for camo, natures wonders. Lot's of lobsters about and a good catch on the one you kept. The conger was a good size to considering where you found it and in shallow water. Liked the improvisation of using a filleting knife as a skewer to cook of the shrimps. Throw some sea lettuce on the BBQ to spotted loads during the vid, nice and crispy as you know. Looked lush and thanks for another great vid.

Not only was the night time foraging portion fascinating to watch, especially the underwater portion, but to be able to share that beautiful sunrise with the two of you while you eat lobster and shrimp for breakfast was just wonderful!! Cracking vid guys, had everything, plenty of species, great colours at night, underwater shots, plenty of Larrys and one to keep for breakfast. Sublime sunrise. Two crabs Barrie & Fred having a scrap or something a bit more sinister, I wonder who they were named after, a couple of subs maybe? So good to be back! Very destructive storm hit Long Island on Tuesday, the 4th so did not have electric power until the 8th. No internet so no RUclips. Received my Smashed Fishing tee shirt today. After the last few days, watching you guys foraging was very relaxing! Thanks!
The boys from my church and my sons went with me snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea Basin for some Shrimp, Lobsters, and spear fishing. We even caught a few Octopus, crabs, Oysters and Scallops. We docked the boat and had a camp out on to beach. Of course we were in violation of the curfew (after 10PM) on the beach. But the Rangers from The Department of Natural Resources just simply ignored us. So to you we say BON APPETIT AND YUM YUM EAT EM UP!

Night time foraging is the most entertaining the colours really stand out, its nice to see so many different creatures. Those lobsters are the most amazing colours and the shrimp/prawns eyes really stand out. As always thanks for posting and lifting the boredom once again.

mate could you maybe try making cheese lobsters / chili crabs sometime? cheese lobster = lobster split in 2 and then covered with cheese, garlic and lemon and thrown into the oven. chili crabs = any crab (for you it’d be brown crab or spider crab), boiled for a bit and then boiled again in chili sauce (chili sauce = chili, garlic, lemon, water, brown sugar, butter, onion and herbs).

Yeah they are hear but not in big numbers
crayfish are freshwater species and this is the sea.
They get crawfish, just happens they call em crayfish. The similarity ends there.
