As someone who finds power-scaling interesting. I really enjoy this ending because it shows Homelander’s sadistic & sensitive nature perfectly. I believe They put alot of effort into it since Starr was unable to Voice his character. But I know NRS endings disregard powerscaling or canon lore in general. They are all just what if’s for the players main.

So Homelander with his pride being beaten, returns home just to do the heaviest training of all time, where he discovers all his potential. Just to become the true unbeatable god he is.
