You Won't Change Me is really underrated.
-Planet Caravan
-Cornucopia
-The Thrill of It All
-Hand of Doom
-Behind the Wall of Sleep
-A National Acrobat
-The Writ
-Under the Sun
-Sweet Leaf
-Sabbra Cadabra
A National Acrobat is a pretty underrated song because most fans don't know the song by name and most fans can't name it by listening to the song, mostly cause of the lack of chorus. It's in my opinion, the best song on that album.
I’d say Black Sabbath is a song I don’t hear many people talking about. One of my favorites.
After Forever
The Writ
Cornucopia
Hand of Doom
Incredible video, such a charismatic person, always coming back to this video to find out what song is in my head!
-Behind The Wall of Sleep
-Hand of Doom
-Cornucopia
-The Thrill of It All
-Sabbra Cadabra
-Under The Sun
-Megalomania
-Killing Yourself to Live
-The Writ
-Hole in the Sky
Shit, are any of those actually underrated?
I think most rock fan know just Paranoid and Iron Man, maybe War Pigs and Children of the Grave. So all of those songs are underrated. It is because Black Sabbath fans have not a rabid fan base. They don't try to feed everybody their favorite band. That belongs to fans of Slayer, Megadeth, Manowar, Rush...
"Hand Of Doom" is great.
Yesss seeing another Black Sabbath video from you made my day, Larry! Hopefully you'll do more Black Sabbath album songs rankings as well!
My list (in no particular order):
1. Wheels Of Confusion
2. Methademic
3. The Sign of the southern cross
4. After All (the dead)
5. Under The Sun
6. Cornucopia
7. Back Street Kids
8. A National Acrobat
9. Spiral Architect
10. The Writ
Finally a Black Sabbath video! You should review Paranoid.
Also if you like black sabbath you should check out judas priest and iron maiden!
1:34 the cat thought "you think ins't nothing there, human. There's always something behind you"
10.You won't change me
9.The Trill of it all
8.The Writ
7.Wizard
6.Shes Gone
5. Cornucopia
4.Lord of This World
3.Hard Road
2.Wicked World
1.Under The Sun
Awesome video! It was really refreshing to see a black sabbath video (not that your other videos aren't great)! Totally agree with #1
The whole Forbidden album is criminally underrated. My all time favourite Sabbath album! Seventh Star is my second favourite and very underrated too!
I don't know how Black Sabbath got overlooked nowadays; they are the fathers of heavy metal.
1. A National Acrobat
2. Sleeping Village
3. Supernaut
4. St.Vitus* Dance
5. Solitude
6.Wicked World
7. Killing yourself to live
8. Johnny Blade
9. Sweet Leaf
10. Supertzar
Great list Megalomania is one of my favorite tracks as well. I do like the Never Say Die album. Thanks for the memories, I used to listen to Black Sabbath (among other bands) with my cousins in the late 70 early 80's in the basement (that 70's show) Literally.
I liked Black Sabbath when I first heard Paranoid on the radio and I thought it was great so I went out and bought that album but about two years later I started getting tired of all heavy metal music,Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Grand Funk and anything heavy,I wanted to hear nice melodies and harmonies again so I went back to my Beatles,Beach Boys and sixties music which I had never really stopped loving,to me the best of the heavy metal late sixties music was Jimi Hendrix who I still think was the best heavy metal musician from that period. Bob.
Janet Sampson bud Led Zeppelin 1 2 3 and 4 we’re during 68-71 and they are what I think are the greatest musicians but Jimi Hendrix is bad ass and The Beatles are the greatest of all time without a doubt
20 seconds in and you already earned a sub. Also... Kill In The Spirit World is my favorite BS song of all time lol
I don't like "It's Alright" and "Back Street Kids" but your other selections are very good songs. I have decided to give my TOP 10 underrated Black Sabbath songs and there is more than just Ozzy era:
1) She's Gone - it is sad and beautiful. I like it better than "Changes".
2) Looking for Today - it is a very good song. It is not one of my TOP 20 BS songs but it is awesome still and I don't hear anyone say anything about the song ever.
3) The Writ - I choose if it you don't choose it. It is an angry song and I love it with full power.
4) Falling Off the Edge of the World - it is one of the best songs of Dio era - maybe my #1 of Dio's Black Sabbath.
5) Born Again - I like Ian Gillian's Black Sabbath album. Even Ozzy said "Born Again" was the best thing ever happened to Black Sabbath after he left. The vocals of this song are awesome.
6) Nightwing - I could choose almost any song of "Headless Cross" because most Sabbath fans don't like Tony Martin era. The album still kicks ass and this is a killer closing song.
7) After All (The Dead) - Every Sabbath fan doesn't know that Dio made three studio albums with Black Sabbath. This is my favorite song from the third one.
8) The Illusion of Power - I used to have the album "Forbidden". Most people say it is their worst but I think it has some OK songs. This song has Ice-T and it makes Sabbath fans mad. I still like the song.
9) Dear Father - My favorite song of "13". The song ends with similar church bells the song "Black Sabbath" starts. The end of the circle...
10) St. Vitus Dance. I agree with "Laguna Sunrise". It could have been in my list too but because it is instrumental it would never be a hit anyway. I also love "Supertzar" and "Orchid" and "Stonehenge" - they are great instrumental tracks. St. Vitus Dance had one of the least typical Black Sabbath lyrics of all time. I think Vol 4 is a great album because it has lots of untypical Black Sabbath songs. And "Under the Sun" is one of the heaviest songs of all time. I would have picked it if the band wouldn't have played it that much during the last tour.
born again is the best song ever
i just dont know how people dont talk much about hand of doom. One of the best basslines of all time, so many parts in the middle and really really great great drumming
My favorite Sabbath song is “A Bit of Finger” off the debut album

love to see you on youtube.
...and now I find out you’re into Sabbath too! I think I love you, canadianstudmuffin! 🤟
Yes, I am not just a fan of The Beatles, I love many many artists... and love Sabbath with Ozzy. Thank you. :)
Happy to see wicked world here, love jamming that song with my buddies
Really nice to hear some words about Solitude and A National Acrobat. And, it's incredible! Megalomania it's my all time Sabbath track. Sabotage it's, for me, a monster album.
I love the list.. This is what ive been looking for. A good list of Sabbath songs i havent heard or am not familiar with. Also... Have you heard of Count Raven? Very Sabbath-esque. The singer isnt a rip off of Ozzy but... He does sound quite alike. The song To Kill A Child is fucking GREAT! Doomy, sad... There could be some loss of translation but its about a mans daughter who is born autistic, deaf and blind. He loves her unconditionally but the world does not so he feels that theyve forced him to kill her... Because even though he accepts her the world does not... Sad song but a great one lol
What?! That is a disturbing plot...
1. Megalomania
2. The Writ
3. Hole in the Sky
4. Fairies Wear Boots
5. All Moving Parts Stand Still
6. Cornucopia

-Laguna Sunrise/St.Vitus Dance
-Wheels of Confusion/the Straightener
-Rat Salad
-Into the Void
-After Forever
-Sabra Cadabra
-Never Say Die
-Hand of Doom
-Electric Funeral
Funny story with supertzar. Ozzy was late to the studio like he always was so the rest of the band, fed up, got a choir and recorded it. Ozzy explains in an interview "i got there and just said what the fuck is this and then i left". And yea ozzy alters his voice a lot when he sings so but when he sang solitude he just sang
10. St. Vitus' dance
9. Under the sun
8. Sabbra cadabra
7. Hand of doom
6. Wheels of confusion
5. Looking for today
4. Rat salad
3. Megalomania
2. The wizard
1. Warning
planet caravan, solitude, tomorrow's dream, hole in the sky, and thrill of it all are also really good underrated songs
it's alright is alright with me.
Completely agree about the riff on "A National Acrobat". But I'm not sure how to address the issue of the best "underrated" songs ... perhaps it's a case of some (otherwise) good songs that don't necessarily sound like typical Black Sabbath (or heavy metal) songs?
Some ones I love (in no particular order)
Planet Caravan
Wicked World
Solitude
After Forever
Sabbra Cadabbra
Killing Yourself To Live
Into The Void
Die Young
Back Street Kids, I, Voodoo, Juniors Eyes, Tomorrows Dream, The Shining, Wishing Well, Solitude, Die Young, Never Say Die! All underrated.
LARRY, have you heard "A National Acrobat""..... SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH. ...... Fantastic song!!!!!
Some very underrated tracks.
Master of insanity
I
The Shining
Lonely is the world
Killing yourself to live
You won't change me

Wicked World
Country Girl
I can definitely come up with more ones :) - not song name haha

Gonna check some of these out. They’ve always been a band I’ve wanted to get into.
Hey Larry, please do a video where you create your own 3rd CD of Led Zeppelin's Mothership with 12 songs, from any album, not included in the Mothership CDs. What would your ultimate 3rd disc look like?
Mine:
In My Time Of Dying
The Ocean
The Rover
The Wanton Song
Ten Years Gone
Tangerine
The Battle Of Evermore
Bring It On Home
For Your Life
Sick Again
Custard Pie
Out On The Tiles
do a top 10 covers!
Hey, you should rank or review Vol. 4, even though you don’t necessarily like it.
Top Ten Underrated Black Sabbath songs(In no particular order):
The Warning
Under the Sun
Megalomania
Killing Yourself to Live
Solitude
Dirty Women
A National Acrobat
Hand of Doom
Air Dance
The Writ
Good list but I'm not a big fan of It's Alright... it's ok. For my list I kept it to the Ozzy years except for the first 2 albums and your choices. Hard to figure out what's underrated so I just went for favourites and some that contradict the ridiculous notion that many have of Sabbath's themes (see After Forever for example). Not in any order:
The Writ - Sabotage
After Forever - Master of Reality
Sabbra Cadabra - Sabbath Bloody Sabath
Cornucopia - Vol 4
Junior's Eyes - Never Say Die
Snowblind - Vol 4
Dirty Women - Technical Ecstasy
Shock Wave - Never Say Die
All Moving Parts (Stand Still) - Technical Ecstasy
Children of the Grave - Master of Reality
It would be nice to hear a top 10 list from the post Ozzy years.... if you have any.
Good video anyway
Computer God is pretty good non Ozzy era song. I don't hear many people talking about this one.
A National Acrobat is a pretty popular BS song.
(A National Acrobat) Probably because of the contrast to the doomy-gloomy riffs, it makes the song stand out. Here's an interesting bit from Wikipedia:
"Keyboardist Rick Wakeman of the band Yes (who were recording Tales from Topographic Oceans in the next studio) was brought in as a session player, appearing on "Sabbra Cadabra".[4] Wakeman refused payment from the band and was ultimately compensated with beer for his contribution."
You kind of sound like Mr. Rogers.
Everything post mob rules*
Master of Insanity
Sorry do not like anything by Black Boredom
Dave Carr how dare you
I like Ozzie solo
Ozzy solo is like alternative rock, not HM?
Dave, you're mean.....lol
Only album worth candle..master of reality
That's not true
