Thanks for the tour. GB has the best lines out there I think - especially the Europa. Unfortunately the salons are always a bit uncomfortable looking with the bolt upright seating. This one with the rear galley might offer some potential to get some more comfortable chairs in somewhere.

Nice Grand Banks with a very interesting layout. I really enjoy your tours and you are the dynamic duo who provide a nice casual tour. The Grand Banks would make a great liveaboard as it has plenty of room and wouldn't be cramped. Another great tour, and by the way are you home based in central Florida anywhere near Tampa ?

An answer to your question, it is not a hawsehole. It is a fairlead. Hawseholes are typically found on the bow of a vessel. A hawsepipe is a pipe that goes through the hull to guide the anchor chain.
