In our kindergarten class we use a white crayon to write a "mystery" word, then we brush on a watercolor and the word magically appears. Something like this, but not as fancy. Love your card

I do this technique on a waxed paper plate or plastic plate with a very fine spritzer. It's fast and easy. I think it's faster and easier than what you just showed us. But I love learning new techniques and ideas and I love watching you!
Still watching, but another "hack" for those of us without a water pen or dropper: a plastic straw works, too! Just put a fingertip over the end and dip into the water. This creates a vacuum for the water within the straw. To drop water onto your surface, just remove your finger and it will drop out of the straw (not as precise as the pipette, but it works in a pinch!)

(Honestly, though, love that you have a hand-made valentine video!! Now I have great new ideas for when I make next year's batch of valentines. :D )

I love any and all of your card tutorials because that’s what I mostly make. I have used the Molotow masking pen and have trouble removing it. Any suggestions? I even have a rubber eraser. Thanks again!
I love it but I do not have masking fluid and found it too costly to get some. I would do it perhaps a slightly different way, but I really love how it looks. I would use this process to create birthday cards.
To make it even easier, you could just skip the ziplock bag and just paint blobs on the paper directly that you then "smoosh" with water. Much quicker and less messy. No going back and forth because you missed a spot.

Instead of using the masking fluid, could you just use a regular black small tip brush pen? By the way, love the card, it's so cute!
