      Same bro! I literally never rode a mini bike . Seen this channel Friday and found a mini bike on Facebook before I got off work, picked it up and immediately started modding, removed the whole governor, swapped to a 26PWK carb and put a straight header on it and I’m sitting at 37mph flat ground; so glad I found this channel mini bikes are soo fun! Love my Coleman CT200-u

    I believe it can , I’m installing a 212 as we speak
    My first one 👍
    I’m replacing the 99cc
    I had fun with . No after market parts .I ported and polished the heads, bigger jets, advanced timing, all that! It’s snappy but I want more.. 😋
    So I’m lining up sprockets and picking up a 3/4 c. Clutch tomorrow . !!
    I learn a lot from you and appreciate your input. You do a lot for ones that can’t and it’s nice to see you changing/ switching up the game !! 👍

    Reminds me of Thailand. Masters of small CC bikes. They took a 150cc with gears scooter, modified it. 1/4 mile drags strip … beat the socks off an 1100cc (made for drag racing motorcycle). How bad?.. 150cc was finished with 1/4 mile and the 1100cc was only 1/2 way down the track. Truly amazing!

    Just put the jackhammer setup on my 224 swapped Massimo 200, and it freaking rips. Top speed is only 27mph, but the torque is crazy good for a cheap Amazon clutch. It also still has the governor on it, which I have plans to remove it a upgrade a few components.

    One question, my son and I hate the vibration from the stock motor and clutch, it vibrates so much that my eyeballs vibrate, and my son's hands itch severely. Will the Cheetah clutch make it a lot smoother for us to ride, or am I looking in the wrong direction??? He won't ride it because of the vibration! Your input would greatly help. Love the videos!!!

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 года назад

      The Cheetah will transition the power really smoothly but I'm not sure that will totally fix the problem. Some of these engines vibrate more than others because the way they are internally balanced...or not lol You could always use a motor mount with rubber grommets. Soft hand grips and good gloves. • @toddellis3323
      @toddellis3323 2 года назад +1

      I think the sketchyness comes in with the frame and no rear shocks. Many of us have a bit of age and weight to us, 55-60+mph I think it's great that these little monsters can go that fast I just want to make sure the frame is stout enough to go that fast and hold up with my retarded ass riding it. Personally I really don't think it should be an issue, but it is a mini bike and there's not much mini about many of us. With that being said it doesn't matter to me I'm building one this summer, it'll work.

    What has been your favorite or most comfortable bike frame to ride? Also which has been the easiest to work on?

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 года назад +1

      For small bikes the Mega Moto 80 rides very well. The stretch might help. The Doodle bug and cc100x are good too. Street tires help.
      For big bikes I like the Coleman CT200U-EX. They are all similar to work on. The small bikes are easier to work on just because they have smaller and less components to work with. No jackshaft or torque converter like the big bikes.

  • @hellheart1993

    Yeah that make sense. I'm trying to beat my cousin bike and he tops out 57mph. I only toped out 55mph. Adding that 12 was a big drop in all my power. But ima try to get a bigger rear sprocket to add the 6 teeth back. I got the Anbull 223cc motor and he got a predator 212cc. Thanks again

  • @billdont2458

    Can you explain how your losing 18 teeth off of the rear by adding 3 to the clutch. The math doesn't seem right to me. Maybe I'm just forgetting something.

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 года назад

      Check out a gear ratio calculator . They have them on some of the kart racing web sites.

    • @billdont2458
      @billdont2458 2 года назад

      @@Black66 I generally know how to calculate gear ratios that's why I was asking. I'm not trying to be ass, just generally wondering why that doesn't work out.
      I'm looking at buying one of these motors that's why I'm binging this play list.😂🤣

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 года назад

      @@billdont2458 That's what I like about the calculator. If you input tire height , RPM your trying to achieve , front and rear sprocket size you can tell pretty quickly what will work and what difference it will make as far as top speed and RPM.
      Generally every tooth you go up on a 35 chain set up on the clutch it will come out to around the equivalent to dropping 6 off the rear. But you can get to a point where even though you are technically dropping rear sprocket size , the engine wont have the torque to pull the gear anymore. Check out the Mega Moto playlist . There is a video on there where I prove this point . The 70+ MPH video .This is why some will gear a bike to run 90 MPH on the calculator but the bike wont do 90 MPH because the engine doesn't have the torque to overcome the wind resistance , rider weight ,etc to get the bike to 90 MPH .
      Sometimes just because it says it on paper doesn't mean it translates into real life.

    Idk if this is good advice but because of rpm and gearing I say that because your running a small rear sprocket and big tooth on the clutch try to get the most out of your rpms go with a bigger or so sprocket so that the clutch doesnt have to push as hard ;)

    • @Black66
      @Black66  2 года назад

      Its pretty much the same thing. Adjusting gear ratio with the clutch or the rear sprocket. The only real difference is with the rear sprocket you can remove or add one tooth at a time to fine tune the gear ratio. With the clutch every tooth added or removed is equivalent to adding or subtracting 6 teeth off of the rear sprocket. Check out a gear ratio calculator. With the 4.9 ratio, did it want to wheelie? Cuz I'd want an even lower ratio (like 6:1) to move my 230lb butt. I'd rather have acceleration than top speed.

    • @trevinskiking2165
      @trevinskiking2165 2 года назад

      Jeff, 6:1 reduction used to be the old starting ratio for 1960s Karts & Minibikes...but many used 2 strokes like Clintons & McColluchs used to reving.Try 6:1 reduction initially & maybe go up a little from there to help in your wheeling: an aftermarket centrifugal clutch will engauge @ a higher rev in the engines powerband than 1 of the cheaper black centrifugal clutchs.For maximum gearing for getaway use a Torque Convertor for lower gearing getaway to do wheelies & some have a 10% overdrive topend rev gearing for maximum top speed ( I think you can buy aftermarket clutches that give you that extra 10% Overdrive on the top revs to increase your top speed as well.I think I've seen them on Amazon.Cheers from NewZealand.

      60/12 = 5

    Your stall speed or engagement rpm is too low.....screw in the spring retainers for more slip, I would start at 3,500 rpm stall. Use a dial caliper to set spring height....you will also need a tach to know where you are
