Calculating Empirical Formula

Empirical Formula are a popular question on the exams. This video shows a simple method that will allow you to throw out an empirical formula in minutes! Not only that there is a way in which you can turn empirical formula into molecular formula.

easy way to remember this is S-MADR
S - symbol
M - mass given
A - Ar value
D - divide (when you find the answers to this then divide it again by the smallest number)
R - ratio (then you'll know the amount of each atom)
all you need to do now is white the symbol with the number
