Calculating Empirical Formula

- Empirical Formula are a popular question on the exams. This video shows a simple method that will allow you to throw out an empirical formula in minutes! Not only that there is a way in which you can turn empirical formula into molecular formula.
easy way to remember this is S-MADR
S - symbol
M - mass given
A - Ar value
D - divide (when you find the answers to this then divide it again by the smallest number)
R - ratio (then you'll know the amount of each atom)
all you need to do now is white the symbol with the number

In tests, will the relative atomic masses be already there??
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't but you get a periodic table, so it doesn't really matter
