Finally someone posts about it!! Thank you 🙏
Got one last night for my 11 year old, $499.They were in the back, not on the floor.
Sidney Owens hi, do you know how much time is this going to be available?
@@ElHashira Until they are gone... Clearance pricing depends on stock algorithm at each Walmart store, most still have them priced at $499 (all my local ones do) but there are stores which have marked it down to as low as $300 or $350 if you get lucky.
The 1660ti requires no less than 450 to 500w!! This has a 400w, non upgradable!! They brick VERY Easily.
Jeremy Freeman agreed says it needs a minimum of 450w right on Nvidia website. I already decided I’m returning mine and building a PC. I want to choose my own parts even if it costs more
@@9Packin Yeah it'll be worth it in the long wrong. Good luck!! Merry Christmas!
I just scored one for $500 on ebay. Good value considering the 1660ti. The RAM is 1x8gb so easy to upgrade to 16gb out of the box. I like the not-so-edgy design.
Nice score! I still use my 2012 dell xps 8500 i7 3770, upgraded to ssd & 16gb ram, still fast & not laggy
Yeah I've done same on a older 2011 model Gateway DX 4860 with a i7 2600 and still runs pretty fast. Slapped a Raedon RX 460 4GB single slot GPU in it as well and runs most recent PC games pretty well for the most part. I play Tekken 7 alot on it!!
Thank you for the great video. I like how you took everything out and showed us what is suppose to come in the box and what everything looks like. I recently bought this computer from Aaron's ( it is the display model) its now two days later and its still sitting on my table.I think there's something missing (like a cord) because I couldn't seem to get it going. So thank you for this video :)
Hi Fastidious Foo! Big fan of your channel & videos and I was so excited to see that you got this computer and posted a new video for it. How would you compare the build and hardware quality/space management in this one compared to the one from 2 years ago? I'm not asking about the specs of the GPU and CPU so much, but really more that I know the other one was pretty cramped and had a crappy PSU (and basically no upgradeability potential apart from adding an SSD and upgrading the RAM). Thank you!
I just bought that same PC off of Ebay open box for $635 delivered and I thought that was a great deal. This pandemic has prices off the roof. The GTX 1660 TI alone is nearly worth the $450 right now. $450 is an insane deal.
you said the fan was loud but never got an up close audio sample of it :(
I love your videos , so authentic and quality and I loved that you used those rubber gloves that one video , it made it seem like at dentist or dr - -love that !!
Yeah I was going to buy this for 600$ which is still a good deal but 450$?!?! That’s awesome!
Great video. Was excited to see this in the black friday ad. My 580-023w from 2 black fridays ago is still serving me well though. It'll be a few years before I can justify replacing it.
Try playing Modern Warfare on it. Completely unplayable for me.
@@Smoothaltheleet Modern Warfare runs 80 FPS on Ultra Quality, my wife has this system and I can confirm that. I don't know what garbage system you have or why you're trying to lie to people.
@@DigitalViscosityLOL holy shit, I somehow missed this gem of a response for a week. Damn are you eager to start a fight with your hot and heavy tone.
For starters, I have the same system as the comment I responded to... which part of that was confusing to deduce contextually?
Now that we're on the same page (hopefully), I'm literally laughing as to why you'd think I would be "trying to lie to people" instead of just considering that maybe the game was ACTUALLY a completely broken and unplayable buggy mess for me at the time I wrote my comment a month ago on the very same system before I had to uninstall it. Isn't it weird how different people can have different experiences (notice the part where I said "for me")?
Should I accuse you of being an Infinity Ward or HP shill now or would you agree that that's just as laughable as you coming at me the way you did?
Later :)
Thank you for your unboxing!
Also, could you do some benchmark tests with this pc?
Love the pc thank you so much. Do you think you can do a video adding a HDD. I need more storage space but I don’t know exactly how to install it

I still got the older model hp pavilion power 580-023w that i got for $499 2 years ago. Still had no issues with it its been a pretty good computer for the price during the mining craze. Im gonna keep checking my local Walmart if it does go on sale again im gonna snatch it.
Can be had for $499 at most Walmart’s now.
@@joeyanulevich8398 Yeah but if you had a 400w power supply you probably didn't have a card nearly as powerful as the 1660ti (right next to the gtx 1070). I had two of these and both went bad within two weeks because it just can't handle the card. The 1660ti requires no less than a 450w to 500w psu. What was yours? You got lucky. ;o)
I just got my HP PAVILION laptop but it's not i7 its running on RYZEN 7, 24GB RAM, 1TB M.2, 1TB HDD, GTX 1650 UHD, I wonder what's the difference since their both pavilion gaming PC's just mine is a laptop
Rams Hacks I’m pretty sure yours is dawg
Hey, does anyone know how to make the video quality better on this exact desktop pc? I have the same exact one and I record with OBS for my videos, but the quality isn't that good. if anyone knows how to make video quality better, or if the program itself isn't that good, then please tell me. Other than that, I think this pc is the best for starters, you can also upgrade some stuff to make it better. One concern for me is that the pc itself gets pretty hot, it also makes quite a bit of noise after being used for a few hours a day.
With the 400w power volt but the 1660ti graphics card. Overall do you reccomend getting this pc? Also if not then what is a prebuilt you Reccomend the most thats no more then $500 thats good for playing modern games at a decent fps?.
If you can build your own then it's totally recommend or buy a old but decent prebuilt office computer and a decent graphics card or just watch on yt or search on the internet
This is probably the best computer your going to get at this price.
NO, 400w is not enough for the card, 500w or more to run it properly. But like everyone here says, don't listen to me, he's just an Engineer. ;o) haha
@@drummer7557 finally someone who agree that 400w is not enough
Thank you! This was extremely helpful!
When I buy this on amazon, should i expect to see it in perfect condition like in this video.
Official J Gamer yeah i got mine from amazon
@@airstxched7167 You got it for how much? Im tryna get something in the range of $550 to $750
Official J Gamer i got it for like $580 i think i gotta check
does the power supply have extra SATA power connectors for adding another HHD and does the MOBO have a extra SATA connector. thank you great VID
Yes ruclips.net/video/hNjxQAs5W9M/видео.html
It has 2 extra sata power connectors
@@fastidiousfoo Good old walmart using same model numbers over. The older version came with a 250 ssd and a 500 hdd if I remember right and I wanted to see if this came with a hdd or just a ssd.
I'm getting mine tomorrow will make an unboxing.
Did you try fortnite on it and how many fps ?
@@obelix2342 Fortnite will push nearly 200fps.......but this PC isn't worth it because of the cheap 400w HP Power Supply. You can't upgrade. ;o(
@@drummer7557 there is no need to upgrade I mean gtx 1660ti 8go ram i5 9400f is perfect for me
@@obelix2342 Oh, that's not what i meant, i just mean that card is to much for the Power Supply. I bought two, and they both had major issues. The 1660ti is plenty for anyone, it's a bad a$$ card. It take no less than a 450 to 500w Power Supply to run it though. The 400w in this just isn't enough, and if you go to replace it (or want a bigger one) you can't. So hope it lasts. It's a great set up, HP just knew it would sell and didn't bother to do their homework.
@@drummer7557 oh okey ,but I'm broke :( lol it's the cheapest one I guess I'm gonna buy it.
I see that when I go to work everyday and no one ever buys it
Not abad machine really. Im tempted to get one but I have plenty of games and computers
@@romhackstashbox1275 I just purchased it and it's honestly a fantastic upgrade over my previous laptop. ETS2, City Skylines, and Sims 4 run perfect on Ultra settings!
@@wilcoxjason legit an acer r 15 can run that lol
@@wilcoxjason lmfao XD ur barely using 40% of what your system can handle. Such a waste of money and components to run those games
Because it will burn up fast. Also people rarely buy desktops anymore anyways.
Since it's so small and it probably gets pretty hot, would taking the side panel off and putting a small fan on it help cool it any?
You need to check Brickseek for it and enter your zipcode. It will tell you the prices and stock at your local stores. I picked one up yesterday for $499. Price is dropping at some locations. Will probably drop as low as $350 after the holidays at some stores with lots of stock.
Thanks :)
Just picked up one for $499 at my local Walmart.
If the price drops before the 14 day return eriod I will return with unopened PC, return, and rebuy right on the spot.
What screw type do I need to open the PC? And is the GPU removable and exchangeable (or is there another place to fit another GPU)?
T15 - watch the teardown video ruclips.net/video/hNjxQAs5W9M/видео.html
I have it, pretty powerful for the price
xStimp can you run all the newest games on high quality?
Yes
It's a 1660ti
do you actually stream or just play
Just play, you might want to get a better cpu for streaming.
Thank you. This video helped saving my money !
유익한 영상 감사합니다!
I don’t know if you can do this but I see a lot of complaints about PSU can you upgrade PSU?
Yeah, you can just replace it. Follow the steps on my tear down video
Actually no you can't, there is one PSU on HP's website that sort of fits with one screw, it's not a standard size PSU. U have to get it from HP. This one is only 400w, the 1660ti requires no less than 450 to 500w. This pc is NOT made to upgrade.
@@drummer7557 is there no way to install a standard psu? And what do you mean 'sort of fits'?
@@LR-qi9rj No it doesn't take a standard size PSU, it's smaller. Straight from HP. Here is a video of the guy putting in a 500w PSU from a different model, and only one screw hole lined up. He explains all about it, and you can SEE what a hassle it is. ruclips.net/video/kUjO2_HPlew/видео.html
@@LR-qi9rj Don't listen to him, after running a fully maxed out test the system doesn't draw more than 325w at maximum. When I isolated the card the max power draw was 125w and the CPU drew about 61-65w up and down. The rest is from the other components.
How well does it play games? Does it play just as if I built it with the same parts? Does it have any flaws?
Just got this exact model. Only played Killing Floor 2 on it so far, but it ran ultra settings flawlessly.
Bought it for $424 and it is worth it. I just played fortnite with it and it runs ultra and epic smooth ( 100-200+ FPS in creative mode) and when playing on low in game it is a constant 165 when it’s capped at 165 fps. At first it was stuttering but u just have to update all of your drivers!
Its really good , played assassin's creed odessey and need for speed payback both on Ultra , very smooth
@@kadirouist damn did you play ac odessey in ultra for real? That's great.
@@xzan8838 damn thnx for the info i'm gonna buy it
do u know if M.2 nvme SSD port on the motherboard supports x4? the nvme ssd that comes with the 690-0073w only shows x2 when running hwinfo. could i add a samsung 970 nvme ssd and it run at x4? thanks
How do you mount the hard drive? Does is come with any screws or does just plop into place?
You need to purchase the screws.
Just got the last one my local store had for $300
I'd take it back, any problems yet? OR do you game heavily?
@@drummer7557 it's running great. It was brand new. It's been consistently running over 100 fps on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. That's about all I've put it through so far.
Will That’s great, I do like being wrong sometimes LOL. I hope it lasts a long time 😀
Nice video!
Do you know if they actually still have it?, because i just saw it a couple of days before
Thanks!
It sold out online sadly but your local Walmart may still have this desktop in stock. Worth going out to check. I ended up buying one of these myself.
Thanks!

you need a sata cable.
Does this pc support 144hz monitor? Thanks
Ye
Yes
Can I see benchmark scores?
Hi, Price cant be right I got it for $579 USD During black Friday sale, Are you for real 450 USD?
my local store had it for $450 on Saturday. But 579 is still a good price.
So everyone bought the same fucking pc, anyways i saw nothing for 450, it was 579 for me

Luis Cardona $579 for me too
@@homanasadi4505 right now its $499 at my local walmart
Can anyone tell me if the psu is dual voltage meaning it can be used in 120v-240v
So, i bought this on black friday, my birthday but whatever. I am still waiting for the "permission" to get same exact pc that you have right in your fucking hands. Hmmm... I wonder whats going on there....
i have the 1660 ti version i saw it in my moms closet for christmas lol
Uh
idksom mobile lol
Why were you snooping in your Mom's closet?lol
overall great specs for the price just the psu 400w is kinda low and the cpu cooler runs too loud
You can easily just replace it with a quieter one, but since you returned the PC already, then oh well.
Chhai Tea hahahaha
Yep, that's why it was a black Friday deal, minimum requirements for the card itself is 450w, so it doesn't even MEET THAT. Which is bad.
Can you switch cases
450 Watt
Here is our power supply recommendation: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti - On your average system we'd recommend a 450 Watt power supply unit. www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/msi-geforce-gtx-1660-ti-gaming-x-review,7.html
will this run escape from tarkov?
shipping box dimentions?, please

@@fastidiousfoo thank you so much ❤

Hey how well does it run Minecraft for you?
Will be able to run Minecraft excellent
Could I upgrade the gpu?
Yeeees
I wouldn't recommend it... this model already comes with a (proprietary) under powered 400w PSU which is barely enough to power the stock components and the 1660ti, hence all the negative reviews about this model of people complaining of black screens/blue screens.
Bruh
It comes with 400w 80+ Platinum, Plenty for the existing components , Just got one of these for 499 and it runs anything 60+ even 1440p can’t complain for the price!
@@MrLuisgsxr 400w 80+ platinum PSU? That's probably not right. It's definitely an unknown, sketchy brand. Call it a ticking time bomb if you will.
I got this today
If you buy this pc the first thing I would do if I where you would be to change put that psu those are terrible and you don’t want your system blowing up
Benchmarks?
ruclips.net/video/AN7kofoMclA/видео.html
The minimum power supply of 1660 is 450 watt
450 watts is actually the recommended watts not the minimum. I would guess the minimum would be about 400 watts to maybe 350 watts.
minimum for a 1660ti is quality 350w, or a bad 400w
Go for what they recommend, i try to tell people, but nah they don't listen. 400w is NOT enough for this machine.
What’s the storage?
256 GB Storage, I Recommend Upgrading The Storage Right Away After Buying The PC
Do u have to buy the RAM?
What kind of question is that of course you dont need to buy the ram it comes with the computer.
I thought the same thing because it wasnt in the slots lol
Weird that they're running a single 8gb stick of ram. Should be cheap and easy to upgrade though.
can you suggest an upgrade for it? What brand and what power? 2666 or would 3600 work?
@@UlquiorraZombie I'd match whatever they put in it
@@UlquiorraZombie 2666, pointless to go higher as the mobo doesn't support it.
I went with a different 16gb kit for mine. Will sell the 8gb stick out of the case for $25 shipped if anyone is interested. Will take PayPal, can set up through EBay if needed
@@9Packin hey does youtube have private messaging, I'd be interested
U need replace CPU cooler...
Completely agreed!!!
yea right i bought it and the cpu cooler was too loud so i just return it lol
Just so people are aware, these are the cheapest possible parts hp could find to put in this computer. This would be okay for a kid or something, but if you want a quality PC, just save up and built it yourself. Trust me, the extra 200 will be worth it. Also, if you can find it clearance for I'd say 300, buy it.
Yeah I had 2 and both went bad within a 2 week period because of the 400w PSU and just overall use of all proprietary cheap HP crap. Hence the price!
tkanks -_-
Does it have a VGA style port?
No
vga is way too old u can forget to have any pc with a vga nowadays unless they have a gt 1030 graphics card or less
I have that same pc, does anyone know how I can enter the bios?
It's an HP, everything is pretty set. That's how they run things.
Are you playing fortnite on it wats your highest frames u can get on this pc
@@AmerOnerz 170+ in public games, and up to 320 in creative, but it is already giving me fps drops, we must add 8gb of ram more
165-240 fps in publics

Whats the name of the motherboard for this deaktop?
I think it's called the sunflower motherboard. I own this pc with slightly different internals but I think the motherboard stays the same for all of them
Thank you. If i want to add another ram, Should i get the same ram as what the stock has? For example, that desktop have 8gb ddr4 2666hz. Should i get the same one even if it has a different brand or i should get the same stock.

Yeah i've said the 400w psu doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for the graphics card, and I've been lynched for it over and over. Even though I'm an engineer. Oh well...;o(
400w Power Supply, HORRIBLE PC for $499. Good specs mean nothing.
I get your point, 400 sounds low for gaming. But these pcs are built by HP. They surely know what they are doing. Only thing im not happy about is ventilation and cooling, might not be good for heavy gaming. 😐
Roof Roof I’m a computer technician so I know for a fact 400 will not cut it. Go look on Google for the recommended power supply for the 1660 TI. It’s like putting a Chevy Cruz engine to power a Ferrari. Just won’t cut it. And believe me HP have had a lot of complaints over the last five years. The two of these that I tried out had issues within two weeks of purchase. Also look at the horrible reviews on other websites of people who have the same blue and black screen problems, among other things.
Roof Roof yeah that’s a good point too is this card is made for heavy gaming, and if you do heavy gaming with this it’s definitely going to burn up 😞
Jeremy Freeman agreed, 400w is too low for the specs on the pc. This should at least have a 600w psu
ZitSpit it does the job but you should swap that power supply right away.
