You have a beautiful spirit. I’ve watched a handful of your vids so far and I’ve noticed how genuinely sweet you are. I’m a very sarcastic person (I’m allowing God to work on me😩) and I guess I’m drawn to the opposite of me lol. And these two items came out suburb! The tee top is my fave!
They look great! I love tea dying and i've done it a few times myself. I've even dyed with avocado pits and skins. But i just love white too much to dye any of my white shirts 😅
I have a couple of items that I may have to tea stain, now that I saw this. I have a linen skirt that is currently off white/cream color (that will be in one of my next thrift hauls) that has a rust colored stain. I think I want to try it with then. Then I have another video that I am working on where I could use that orange pekoe color you got. So, I LOVE these ideas!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
I have to say I thought you were going to ruin the nighty because I thought it was really pretty as is and I would wear it despite it being PJs but OMG it looks so much better! I am no longer intimidated to try tea staining. Thank you for all your awesome videos!
I would personally add like a brown/tan/camel belt for the waistline of the dress. But each to their own :) tea dying is surprisingly effective! Such a pretty colour 😊
I’ve never tried tea dyes but I did a few avocado dyes and one coffee dye. The coffee was not as successful and I suspect it’s because the fiber was not natural... but it’s a fun project! The top turned out great, but in my opinion I liked the dress as is. But it’s yours so you do you!
I tea stain lace doyles have done it for years. I like the worn in look. I might go get me a white shirt to try. Since I'm not a fan of white too much. Loved how your clothes turned out!!!
I tried this exact method in the summer on some baby items and they turned out great! Try soaking the item in white vinegar & water right before you rinse it to set the colour. Love your channel!
I know this might sound nerdy, but I've collected and customized 12" G.I. Joe figures to make them look more like the 1980s Joes. I've been looking for a khaki piece of clothing for one female figure, but can't find it online. So I thought about tea staining a white version of that garment. I'm partially blind from a juvenile brain tumor, so I was wondering if this process if difficult to do or required monitoring to see how dark the garment is getting. Thanks!
Just watching tea staining..just a thought the stain on the yellow top might just stay and show up when dyed a little darker hope IAm wrong ..you are so sweet..cheers deb from Vancouver b.c.
I read on some blog that it doesn’t work well to tea stain more then one thing in the same water. It said something about the first item soaking up all the color 🤷🏼♀️
Can we all just appreciate how good she is at making thumbnails...!?
Do a white vinegar rinse. That will set the color .
Omg the yellow top turned out sooo good! I had a feeling you would make it look amazing!
I use coffee to dye white items all the time! Actually just dyed some white face masks using this method earlier today :)
I've been so interested to try something like this lately! This might push me to do it. They look so good and the process seems very simple.
OMG YOUR DRESS LOOKS SO GOOD !!!!! AND YOUR SHIRT !! Do a vinegar rinse to set the color . before you wash them.
I also do it with ropes where I macrame my hanging baskets with.
The dress looks so stinking pretty!!! I'm gonna HAVE to try this out 😍

This looks so good! I've only ever done this with paper for art projects. Love the idea for clothes
I’ve tea dyed yarn but this takes to a whole new level that I must try. Thanks for tutorial
I was always thinking about dyeing a top that had stains by tea. You have encouraged me

Oh my gosh!!!! They both turned out so beautiful!!! I absolutely love both of them!
I tea stain vintage doilies and then stitch them together to create a banner
That puts a different spin on tea time!!! Awesome 👏 ! Tie dye next maybe? 👍💛

..But just imagine how strong that tea would be hahaha .. :)
Wow thats fantastic! I should try this!!
I want to dye everything now! Do you think it would work as well if the same tea water was reused?
I read on some blog that it doesn’t work well to tea stain more then one thing in the same water. It said something about the first item soaking up all the color 🤷🏼♀️
Emily Faith gotcha! Thanks so much 🧡
Update on what happens after detergent?
