When I go, Thrifting in Wisconsin, I never find much. I’m always surprised at how little I find but the prices are always better than Illinois. I did, however, spend some time in Texas and oh do I ever love Texas resale shops! Texas is the best!

I went to a local thrift store yesterday and scored a really pretty boho dress. It's too big for me, but I bought it and plan to turn it into a boho duster. I sew, as well, so this should be fun! Loved shopping with you, you had a really great second haul! Not that I would've put anything back lol. We have several Goodwill stores around here, but not as good as yours. I plan to go out again in a few weeks and try farther upstate. I had saved things from my mommy and daddy to upcycle their clothes into different items. I have a box of shirts that will be bears. Daddy had some really nice suede sports coats that I plan to try out bags.Also going to use a large bag of jewelry mommy had. Thank you so much for the inspiration,truly!

I pick up scarves, bags, curtains, table cloths, belts (especially ones primarily metal) bed linens, linen fabric almost anything, and almost anything lace!

How fun to watch you shop! My husband and I spent almost all day today at an estate sale where the owner had an antique store. I live in the Northeast and we have lots of Victorian stuff. I bought a ton of very old linens, lace & doilies. I have been collecting, cleaning, repairing and selling them for about 25 years. I love them. I also love to sew stuff with them. My goal is to try to move past the whites/creams/tans, sort of shabby chic style, and move to boho. A real challenge for me to get past the confusion in my head that exist when I think about combining all these different colors, styles etc... But being a child of the 60's, it really shouldn't be so hard for me. When I was buying stuff today, I asked myself...."would Tracy buy that"?

Love your videos! Have done a little upcycling for myself. However being a plus size they don’t always flatter my body. Lol! Have you ever done a video on plus size upcycles for your shop? Your work is so creative and inspiring.
I haven't specifically done one for plus size, but they all can be converted to plus by purchasing plus size. 🤗💞💞💞

Nice video, I cant wait to see what your going to make with your thrifted finds. You’ve taught me well. I go to those same areas and would have picked the same things you selected. Please keep the videos coming you are a delight to watch. I love your style in designing and how you make it look so easy. Went to an Estate sell yesterday and bought every vintage doily they had spent 39.50 and got 2 white lace table clothes, 1 bed duster, the rest were doilies @ 1.00 each and 2 for 1.00. I felt I hit the lottery. So I then came home and cleaned the dust off the sewing machine. Now what to make first???? Thank you so much for all you do.

You’re Goodwill store has much better prices than ours in Washington State! Most clothing items start at $7.99 & they’ve been slowly removing & changing special sales they used to have. All items in the stores have gone up. Makes it difficult, for me, to choose & purchase an item for deconstruction & upcycling.

Plus they drove Value Village out so Goodwill basically has a monopoly.
