Rose wouldnt play in the playoffs-months after being cleared by doctors. He was a more well rounded player at his peak,& didnt have the drama of Kyrie or Harden...but thats not saying much. Most people wanna forget his nonsense-but I dont. He wasnt all in for the team at his peak either-though Id rather D Rose at his peak than Harden or Kyrie. But I wouldnt EVER have Kyrie or Harden though-so thats not saying much.
Of course im spoiled as a Denver fan-elite superstars who are fully bought in,unselfish, loyal to Denver,& great teammates...on both our nhl,& nba teams. 1 of the big reasons we just won the nhl/nba back 2 back. And I get there arent many stars like Jokic or Makar out there. But lets not act like there wasnt legit questions bout how mentally tough,&/or fully bought in Rose was. Now that hes had an unfortunate injury plagued career-people want to act like that never happened-but some of us remember.

I thought the Sixers should have fired Rivers but I still chuckled thinking about what he must be thinking tonight regarding Morey . If there is any merit to the Clippers potentiol deal than I suspect that the Sixers will want some mix of Terrence Mann, Nick Batum, Covington , Zubac , but it would be funny if they insisted on expanding the trade and shipping Harris back to the Clippers ( which actually could benefit the Clippers) . Of course at the end of the day it depends on how large of a cheque Balmer wants to pay the league given he needs to avoid the embarrassment of a WAP team when the new arena opens. I actually feel bad for Russ in that he did what he was asked to and seemed to be happy for the first time in a long time.

Saying a player is a gifted talent but not a “winning player” is lazy to me. You always need gifted players to win, not just chemistry and hard workers. I get it Harden is difficult and I’m not vouching for him but you still need star talent in the NBA bottom line. Sixers might not be going anywhere with him but these young dynamic guards you speak of to replace him don’t grow on trees. The perfect combination of gifted and being a “winning player” is too rare. LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Steph Curry, the list is short.

From the looks of things, he's going to ride out this contract and that's that. Any team that trades for him is a damn fool but at least he's LEGITIMATELY injured. Harden just up and QUIT on his third team in 2.5yrs, that might actually be a record in the NBA - The idea of him going to the Clippers is hysterical, an aging HOF player whose rep isn't injuries so much as his willingness to compete ALONGSIDE two stars who haven't played 2/3 of their games together?
