man this series is great, you get to try plenty of different cars on the channel each with its own unique issues and fixes etc. keeps all the detailing vids and repairs vids fresh . love it
OOOO HOHOHO.............when I see the damage I am excited XD, can't wait to see you pull your magic to fix all those things. I hope you one day get your hands on a classic JDM
Hi Luke, I was wondering if you help with a question, You had the A4 TDI and I have a B7 A$ Avant TDI 170bhp, I have recently had a new clutch, master cylinder etc and since I have had the car back the car seems to accelerate quicker like there's to much fuel going in. I had an issue with the clutch switch so I have replaced this as this was causing high revs when changing up gears. That's sorted now. Have you experienced a problem like this before? Yes I will be going back to the garage but I like to try and do my own research as well. Could it be the accelerator pedal as this is electrical and was removed when master cylinder fitted, or any other ideas where to start? Thanks Luke. Keep up the great work and vids.
I'm really looking forward to the upcoming videos on this car. I've always liked Seats instead of the ten a penny German equivalents, nice to be a little different from everyone else.
Great video buddy, i have the same engine in my Skoda, the 2Ltr oil burner is a great engine, I always put a bottle of Cataclean in the tank and especially before the MOT, what a huge difference it makes too Good luck with this project mate, great little car :)
My uncle has the exact same but he haa no sunroof and it's a 2009 supercharged turbo petrol engine 4 cylinder tsi 1.4 and i cannot find a single 2009 ibiza fr tsi 1.4 so would u consider it rare? And it's not the facelift
I've had a previous generation fr with the 130bhp 1.9 diesel fun little cars around small roads. I had another one before that remapped to 173bhp and 319 ft lbs of torque do it surprised a few cars
Dude, I've got this car and due to have a celtic tuning 190 map put on, watching now but how much more torque does it feel like it has? Seems a little less on the common rail than the old 1.9 tdi cars, cheers!
Comparing it to my A4 which was a 2.0 PD 140 remapped to about 180, the Ibiza seems less torquey low down. It doesn’t have that initial lump of torque but revs more freely and pulls better higher up. Seems to be a trait of CR diesels. My Volvo D5 feels the same. Quite frankly, I like the low down surge of old diesels.
Whoever owned this car previously treated it like shit. Why the hell would you not get those so called niggles attended to? Switches not working, cracked mirror etc. Simple fixes smh
Great channel but oh god a Seat... ugly horrible cars. I really can't see why mugs financed this garbage when new. Hope it's not had the emissions fix as it ruined the 2.0TDI.

Haha that’s what I was hoping. Each car has it’s own story and problems.
I’ve recently just sold my Ibiza 2010 FR. white with black wheels. Absolutely fantastic car. Drove like a dream and cheap to keep on the road.
That's crazy, I had a FR myself. Loved the thing such a small and quick car. Especially after a remap and lower handles like a dream.
That is a great looking car, should be amazing when the few repairs are completed!!.
Love Seat I daily drive a leon FR and it's brilliant never let me down
Nice to see you moving up and bettering your videos man. Class quality and production
Lovely Jubbly, another one to look forward to seeing its transformation.
Love the new intro buddy! Look forward to see what you’ll do with it!
Hi Luke, great video, another project, this is a tidy motor,I will stay tuned for the videos in the Seat Ibiza FR.
abit of topic but how do you deal with insurance?
Looking forward to you turning this motor around, Luke.👍
Nice introduction to the latest project. Will be fun seeing how you progress with it
OOOO HOHOHO.............when I see the damage I am excited XD, can't wait to see you pull your magic to fix all those things.

Look forward to seeing the videos and the work you do to it. Nice looking set of wheels!👍
I still have this car. 190.000km build is 2011. I will miss it. It’s a real pleassure to drive.
Am such a fan of the ibiza and all the seat cars. My first car is an ibiza sol 2017 and i just fall for the seat group love it
Luke!!! Loving the new intro! Keep it up!!! Really professional!
Another awesome video Luke, can’t wait to see how this project goes!
My dad had a black one PJ10 also. It's a beast of a thing.
its like an episode of top gear.
I got that engine in my 59 plate a3, came as 170bhp I've it mapped up to 210 pulls like a train with the torque too
Who did the remap? Would like same for my 170 a3..even tho it already has plenty of torque
Omg 😂 that's our favourite saying between friends, nice to know you watch Trailer park boys we thought we were the only ones.
Ok
They feel like my extended family 😂 Can’t beat a good rickyism.
"2 smokes let's go"
Cant wait see the videos on this car.. good work
Looking forward to the content on this one. The 140 tdi with the remap makes for a great all round car.
Nice new project to focus on!
That’s cars had a hard life but she does look good though
Always loved the look of the seat Ibiza and Leon especially fr models. This will be a brilliant little car by the time your finished with it 😁😁
Jheeze congratulations on 30k subs mate

Seat is German it’s owned by Vw/Audi
that intro was fantastic
I love my Ibiza, little pocket rocket 🚀
Great name for series
Can you do a video on how to read tyre size and tyres mate
lad you literally drove past my house. I thought I recognised the Rainford bypass
Haha yeah, some good roads around there.
I had the re-watch the first part of the video because all I could think was “I am sure that’s the Rainford Bypass” 😂
Nice intro mate
Great new intro! Also, kudos for the Rickyism ^^
Great video buddy, i have the same engine in my Skoda, the 2Ltr oil burner is a great engine, I always put a bottle of Cataclean in the tank and especially before the MOT, what a huge difference it makes too
Good luck with this project mate, great little car :)
The seat looks great Luke, looking forward to seeing the next vid 👍👍👍👍👍 I still think Luke’s Lockdown Luvlies would have been a great name, 😂

really looking forward to the new content. and man that intro is sweet!
Think this is gonna make for a really interesting series, curious where you will eventually end up!
Is this the 6j model (pre facelift)
I conveniently bought the same car a few months ago so will be subbing and watching
Nice swap, can’t beat a good hatch. I’m sure it’s fun to drive.
Nice work mate!
Love your keeping the Volvo absolutely brilliant car
Nice wee project that
I've had a previous generation fr with the 130bhp 1.9 diesel fun little cars around small roads. I had another one before that remapped to 173bhp and 319 ft lbs of torque do it surprised a few cars
I really like it :) Just do your thing, it makes for interesting content for sure!
Change the gearbox oil ?
When is the V70 coming back?
What does a similar car sell for price wise?
On ebay ?
Love my Ibiza 2.0 TDI. Gutsy enough and cheap to run. Big engine small car is a winner for me
Same ❤️👌
Best reference ever trailer park boys 👏
wow this car has definitely been neglected, but tbh it's not that bad and considering the swap woth the a4 is awesome
Dude, I've got this car and due to have a celtic tuning 190 map put on, watching now but how much more torque does it feel like it has? Seems a little less on the common rail than the old 1.9 tdi cars, cheers!

just weird that you can by the ibiza with the 2 liter engine and you can't buy the polo with thr 2 liter as they have the same base
Yeah I found that weird too. I think many people don’t know about them since the Polo never got it afaik. There seemed to be an A1 with it though.
Love trailer park boys!
Anyone who thinks 140bhp in a small hatch isn’t “hot” didn’t grow up in the era of the 130bhp Escort RS Turbo.
Yellow fr going for remap
I have a mk6 Golf GTD I assume this is the same engine mine is 170 Bhp. Anyone know how much it would cost to remap it to 190 plus BHP?
About £300 should take it to 210bhp
@@Birmingham_racing Thanks pal 👍
😂😂😂😂 noticed the Magic erasers in the intro🙄
Haha yeah. The opening shot is a bit of an Easter egg 😁
Hello thoughty2 here
A nice car for someone it will be cheap insurance aswell
Yeah cheap I sure, tax and run compared to others. Plus the 2.0 TDI is a reliable lump.
Surely you're losing a shit ton of money paying tax and changing vehicle for insurance?
💯💯💯
Thumbs up
Whoever owned this car previously treated it like shit. Why the hell would you not get those so called niggles attended to? Switches not working, cracked mirror etc. Simple fixes smh
Is a 2010 car too old ?
I've got a seat ibiza and it's a heaps of shite.. Avoid
why
Great channel but oh god a Seat... ugly horrible cars. I really can't see why mugs financed this garbage when new. Hope it's not had the emissions fix as it ruined the 2.0TDI.
