    The best thing that agencies like Avant and Medpro does is to recruit nurses and bring them to USA for work. They know what hospitals need and what they are willing to pay. Some nurses “Kemboi” from the jobs and contracts, however this has a long term for future nurses from the specific country, that’s why for example the agencies mentioned above don’t recruit nurses from Nigeria. As for those nurses that want to come and work in USA, seek the agencies now, because in future anything can happen, including stricter rules, or agencies stopping recruitment from Kenya.

      One thing about this Nurse she has a contract with an agency where the agency takes approximately 27 dollar per hour so don't expect she will have alot more left but once the contract is over like she said it gets better with time...Nurse Judy has no agency she's paid her full amount
      She has a contract on travel nursing where the rates are high plus she lives in California where rates per hour is quite high...do your research well

      You are right .But my channel is about starting life in USA as anew immigrant nurse.Most of my followers are coming with agencies.And those coming with direct hire should forget about$100 per hr for their first yrs.Ofcoz .Judy puts it so clear in her first yrs that she wasn't earning $100.

    Once the nurse has a green card and some work history, they can seek work at other facilities and states, depending on pay, cost of living personal preference etc. For people that have green card already or those that are USA citizens, they can attend nursing school and get financial assistance from the government to pay for school.

  • @bernardn4399
    @bernardn4399 8 месяцев назад +1

    Thanks for this information. I want to point out that this is the snapshot of a nurse brought by agency to work in the USA under contract. Keep in mind that the hospital spends about $20,000 upwards to secure that work visa for the nurse. USA law forbids a company from charging someone to give them work. Therefore the hospital pays the nurse less money for the length of the contract (I believe it’s 2 years H1B) while they recover their expenses. After 2 years the nurse can extend the contract for another 2 years, usually with a pay rise. At some point the hospital might sponsor the nurse for a green card, hoping that the nurse will feel loyal to the hospital and stay there longer. For context the work visa requirements is that the candidate will be employed by that specific employer only. But once the nurse is here, they can “cheza kama yeye” especially if they are working in an area that has other immigrant nurses

      @@chreyspolskagondu1788 American nurse here, tax depends on how much you make and if you have dependents (kids) I am single no kids and I make almost 80000yr and I am taxed about 25%. If you have dependents this will be lower and the amount they take out of each check will be less. Make sure when you are hired you fill out Form W-4 correct because it determines how much they take out for state and federal taxes. The more dependents you have the less they take. I let them take out money for my 401k(retirement) because it is taken out pre tax so my tax responsibility is less. The max you can put in 401k yearly is $23000. So if I put $23000 that lowers my income yearly to about $57,000 less taxes. But! when I start using that retirement money it will be taxed. The is also something called a Roth Ira but I think that is taxed when its pulled out of your taxes. Its a lot to put into writing but there are way to lower your tax burden. I hope this helps
