    Ive been doing low carb dieting and been doing 2 mile fasted cardio walks 5 days a week ,, Im down about 20 - 25lbs ,, i have lost some strength with the weight loss but i believe the weight loss is better for my health then losing a little strength,, Big fan of morning fasted cardio!!

    Great video, but just to mention something idk if I can be of an help for Justin but with what he said about his elbow issue I had similar issues and symptoms and after an extensive trial and error as well as chiropractic and dr appointments it was an injury to my coracobrachialis. Hopefully this helps

    Is there a general time requirement for fasted cardio from a strength perspective. Say 15-20 Min three times a week or will it vary from person to person?

    Also wondering the same as TheSwoleNurse. But I'd like to add how intense does the cardio need to be for a powerlifter? If I'm walking on the treadmill (cold as fuck outside) what mph should I be aiming for?

      My own experience: I went by heart rate... kept it under 135 BPM. On average, I did 2.6 to 3.0 mph with a 1-2% incline for 50 minutes. Did walking on upper body days. On lower body days I hit the heavy bag a couple days (6 standard boxing rounds). The heavy bag is just as good cardio, but saves the legs.

    Most of this has now been debunked time & over again. Quiate a few things in this particular sitting/podcast heaps of bro sience was sold as sicence.
