The unbeatable Huawei Freebuds Pro 3. I mean it. No earbuds checked all the boxes they do. Probably the only thing that is annoying, there is sometimes a hiss, some white noise when in transparency mode in a quiet environment.
@WhatGear I have the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They sound great, mic quality is excellent, and transparency works very well, but they won't stay in my ears - especially while I'm eating or talking. I've tried every size eartip and even bought some foam tips - nothing worked. Annoying to the point of needing a replacement. I've since tried the Shokz Open Fit - cool idea, but the tip that's supposed to sit on your ear kept digging into my ear, so I had to return them. Then I tried the EarFun Free Pro 3, which sounded pretty good and stayed in well, but became uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. I then tried the Bose QuietComfort Buds (2024), which were comfortable, but the sound quality was disappointing, even after tweaking the EQ. That was really surprising considering the Bose brand used to be so well known for sound quality. I'm currently using the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro - excellent sound quality, excellent controls, good mic, and they comfortably stay in all day. The biggest downside I've found is the transparency - it's fine, but not quite as good as the Galaxy Buds Pro 3. Do you think the transparency on the LinkBuds Fit is as good as the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro?
These are awesome. My Beats Fit Pro just broke again (the wing tip torn apart) and I was looking for something new with up to date codecs, Bluetooth version, etc. and came across these. These are super comfy and the fit is so soft that it almost seems that you have no earbuds especially once you find the correct ear tip for your size of ear canal. The ANC is much softer vs the one on Beats Fit Pro but I really like the way its implemented - you hear a lot of surrounding sounds but then again the song you listen to does not suffer so to say, love it! Love the feature of auto pause + transparency mode as soon as I start talking, which can be adjusted to various length and sensitivity. Sound wise its like day n nights vs beats fit pro especially with the available EQ settings.
I got the xm5 and replaced the foam tips with silicone ones, its so much easier to fit especially for workouts, i recommend trying that for the people who doesnt like foam tips, anyways great video!!! 🎉
I just got the link buds open in the violet color. I was looking for something that didn’t cause ear fatigue. So far, it’s not astoundingly better than my AirPods Pro 2. I do enjoy the ability to hear everything around me without the artificial effect that came from the transparency mode on the AirPods. But I definitely have to give them a solid week of trial before i can say they are any more comfortable.
@@Khoelhutchinsonthey're not terrible, but they are definitely not much more comfortable than my AirPods. I decided to give the Bose open ear that clip around your ear a try now. It's been pretty cool, except for getting a dud right ear bud and needing to go back to best buy for a quick exchange. New unit seems great.
Are they made with the same batteries as LinkBuds S? I hope not, because the battery drain problem of the LinkBuds S really sucks, my left earbud dies only after 30 minutes of playback, only after 1 year of use...
Well, me listening to this video on my wf...xm5s, I gotta say this for the rest: IF you have a main device to listen to music from or work from, then get thr linkbuds fit, if not, get the XM5s. I mean this because of noise cancelling, sound quality and most importantly, battery life. Note: if you want them to workout, I wouldn't recommend getting the XM5s, the foam tips won't appreciate your sweat and you'll have to replace them even quicker
Probably because it's not their most premium option, so you'll consider the even more expensive XM5s if that's important to you. Like how base level iphones still have 60hz screens even though they cost like $1000.
Very impressive. I was considering the jabra elite 10 gen 2 but jabra leaving the market leaves a question over their updates. Sony has a good track record of improving the software and firmware of their buds.
I wish these little things would last at least 8 hours with noise canceling on. It's outrageous to pay so much to have some good earphones for work and commute, but they die on you when you're finishing your shift, so you have to go home without music. I have the Linkbuds S and I'm considering returning them. They're very painful to use (I have some generic Bluetooth earphones with fins and they last like 10-12 hours, no noise canceling but they're comfortable and cheap, but I do want noise canceling)
Noise cancelling is ironically enough just blasting antisound into your ears so you're basically constantly playing audio through your earbuds even when not listening to anything. 8 hours of ANC on battery is very difficult to reach.
Has anyone tried these yet? I’ve always had issues with tip-based earbuds. I used to use the Samsung Buds Plus, which had a tip support and fit well. Then I switched to an iPhone and bought the AirPods Pro, but they kept slipping after 1-2 minutes. I ended up getting the AirPods 2nd Gen without tips, and they fit perfectly. Now that I’m using the Galaxy S24 Ultra, I’m looking for new earbuds. These earbuds have tips-has anyone found them uncomfortable or prone to falling out, or do they stay secure? Would love some feedback!
I have my perfect Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 buds but I am out for something new, something future proof for AuraCast maybe. The PixelBuds Pro 2 are my pick but they lack Hi-Res codecs, not as if that was a gamechanger.
The open are the open air design ones. They have that doughnut with the hole in the middle. No noise canceling, but supposed to help keep you more tune with your environment.
I got the XM5 love them but the problem is I hate that form tips they seem way too big for my ear canal when I'm used The large size but when I use the medium sizes too small have the same problem with the XM4s so I have to use tips I got on my XM3 then it finally fits me great I wish Sony would just give us rubber ear tips in the box for the XM5 they seem to do it with their other earbuds Plus I don't think the foam ear tips are that comfortable at least give us rubber in foam in the box
why don't you pay attention to the minuses in the review? Why is the comparison of models (this is what appears in the title of the video) so short? Were you paid for the review? I think there is no need to waste time watching it

QUESTION! Just out of genuine interest... what headphones are you currently using?
Linkbuds S
I'm using the Sony wh1000XM5 over ear headphones and soundcore ear buds. I'm really liking these link buds tho.
AirPods Pro2

The mic quality on these is pretty excellent, especially for a bud (non-stem) style.

Same, I use the leftover silicones from my disposed linkbuds.
What silicone tips diid you use? I'm planning to replace the foam tips

real
nice review man. i wonder why theres no wireless charging for such an expensive product tho
It might be due to the case covers possibly

Seriously..so far the batery drain of xm4 especially even xm5 hasnt heard any update it resolved, has it?
No issue on battery drain. Sony earbuds are excellent for durability, unlike my Earfuns!!

Does these support ldac hi res audio on samsung s24 ultra
Yes. They have LDAC.
You're not really getting that kind of audio though. Go with wired IEMs for ideal sound quality.
Anyone knows if these are good for running? (Comfort and fit)

@@NegyedMisi Tuning > codecs by far. Status 3anc only have aac and sbc, and sound amazing. I can't comment on googles buds, never heard them.
Can the noise cancelling of the linkbuds fit be turned off? If yes, how does this affect battery life?
Of course it can. You can turn it off in the Sound Connect app and the battery will last longer.
Can you please do a video where you compare the Samsung galaxy A55 and the A73?
I am currently deciding which one to buy
I went to buy these on Amazon, and it says the Sony linkbuds Open are a newer model. They were £180.

@@Hiiiiiiiiieeeei know what they are, but are they actually newer than the Fit?
They actually came out around the same time e..
I had the xm5 for almost two years and the left earbud stop working meaning no sound only touch still works
You done all the updates?
How did you maintain it for that long? any cleaning tips or battery life tips? please response thanks
How did you have the xm5 for almost 2 years when they were released in late July of last year?

Foam gives better overall audio quality and ANC, thats why they used them.
does the case charge wirelessly?
Unfortunately not on these ones
What about sports? Can you play sports and sweat wearing this?
They do have the appropriate sweat rating and the fit is very secure...so yes, I'd say so
better anc than app or app2? app2 have top tier anc.
Only double and triple tap for controls? Pass.
