Many, many late nights staying watching this with the boys. Many, many, laughs were had too. I think that's what keeps me coming back. James has never failed to make me laugh 14 years and counting.
*WELCOME TO THE STAGE OF DESTINY*
Anybody else want AVGN to keep making videos until he’s a senior citizen?
And beyond!
when he's old he's gotta play Super Monkey Ball and Boogie haha
I'll watch until I'm a dead
i dont wanna see james being 60
@@1981mrdavid He isn't a smoker, is he? If he keeps up with his vegetables and fruits and exercise, and doesn't smoke, he ought to be fine.
When you realize the FMV Scenes were filmed in Puerto Rico!!! I knew those little castles look very familiar
That’s awesome - any particular locations?
"You'd have more fun navigating a DVD menu with your d - tip..." Bahahaa im dying 😂🤣😅
This is why i watch AVGN these types of things he says
@@RocketZX So very true!
this F E E L S like an O L D episode in the B E S T way possible, James.
This is absolutely the quality that a lot of us in the AVGN community adore.
This is great.
He even ended it by destroying the game in some outlandish way 😂😂
From the weird toast rant to the destroyed Lego description. This turned out even better than I expected. Great review AVGN.
True
@@pikablu_25 it feels like a return to form, and i love it, i watched this episode like 10 times already
He has been on a roll lately.
I have waited since 2007 when I was in high school, hoping he would review Corpse Killer. Now, 14 years later, it finally happened. Has it really been that long? 0_0 Time just flew by.
@@EnjoySackLunch I think he’s plenty relaxed!
12:36 It reminds me of when you beat Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat.
I love that James always does what he says he will.
"what game are we talking about again?"
Hotel Mario I think
Remember, all toasters toast toast.
"Hey you get off of my Cloud!"
"The best place to make your base in a zombie apocalypse is a graveyard" - ah, the Game of Thrones approach to defending against the undead.
please explain
@@andrewjones9547 In the episode 'The Long Night' where there's a big battle against the White Walkers, they protect all the non-combatants by hiding them in the crypt. And then of course all the corpses get up and join the undead horde.
James’s humor is very rare as it never gets outdated
Unlike corpse killer
They were never end-dated.
This game got way more ports than I'd expect for something as derpy as this.
The 200th will soon be upon us, it's weird to think that I've been watching James for almost half of my life span, since the summer of 2006, either before or after the Independence Day episode, didn't think he would still be around for so long, or that a movie and two games would end up being made around this character.
Like many others I'm sure, these videos were of great help at times, helping making the days better and just upping my moral and mood, it's been such a pleasure to watch and I will take more watching the episodes until it end, but I won't stop watching him if James continue making videos and projects even after ending the AVGN.
Thanks for everything !
14 years later and we finally get to hear what the Avgn wanted to say about corpse killer
He probably really couldn't find a working version until he got a 3DO. lol
14 years?! Man times flying.
As emperor palpetine once said: “a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.”

Hello there
@@underworldpalacecustoms9889 "we'll watch your career with great interest"
DO IT
I love how the AVGN hasn't changed his thing in this long and still makes it funny
another episode that was 10+ years in the making.
Well, Julie is hot so at least the game has that going for it.
14:21
James been coming out with a lot of AVGN lately, I love it.
I still can't help but laugh at the analogy/comparison The Angry Video Game Nerd says around 1:36-1:50.
I think the over-all choice of words is what really cracked me up...
Setting up base in a graveyard is pretty smart if you're farming XP.
I’m absolutely loving these callback reviews to older reviews!
AVGN has reached godfather status on YT with how long he’s been going at this...respect brotha
He's the ultimate gaming content pioneer. It used to be people would rip him off. Now it's more like a pastiche or tribute to his style
39 years ago lol
11:59 had me in tears 😂
I'm almost convinced James was close to making a Hotel Mario reference.
I'm absolutely convinced it WAS a contrived Hotel Mario reference.
"We are the new order"
*Blue Monday starts playing*
@@jacobinghoy3551 how does it feel uh
For Sunday it's time for "True Faith"
AVGN has been doing this for so long. Watching his videos really does bring me back to the past. Thank you James.
The jack-o'-lantern guys head is definitely repurposed skull heads from Batman Returns.
2:20 any AVGN fan would remember this line:
"Its on life support"
I don't know if it is on purpose, but the progression of Angry VGN to Jaded VGN throughout the series is awesome. Its like real life! Your anger grows and grows until something inside burns out. After that, you expect the things that you raged against and just try to get through them with seething resentment at all those who made it happen. I love it.
AVGN is the only series on RUclips where I leave a like before even starting the video.
Same
I lost it at the Hellman Mayonnaise joke at 5:13 😂😂 that was peak OG Nerd comedy there 🤣
How could I forget some of the “High Defecation” games on Sega CD back then? lol
You have to love how youtube is the closest to a time machine we have
i know i do.
"No cliffhanger this time?"
Did he mention he was going to review the Cliffhanger game?
The Dragon's Lair ripoff from the 80s or the one based on the Sly Stallone film?
Came here to say the exact same thing
Hey... what a coincidence... I posted something similar... and I absolutely hated that game
@@jzpowell2108 agreed! I rented this game in the day and it was a waste of time
