Stopped by on the way to long beach picked up my window and wipers from Jake. Wow! The pictures don't do it justice, he has multiple but wow his coupe is really something to behold. Really motivates me to improve the body work on mine.

Keep up the great work. If you have not been trained professionally, you are doing very good.

That must have been the greatest feeling in the world to hear that motor run for the first time - great work! Wish more kids your age were like you!

I would for sure swap out the timing chain and water pump since it’s all out in the open, can’t wait to see what you do next and hopefully soon you’ll work on the Subaru 2 stroke truck.

Wow I love this back in the 80's I bored my 72 ST to a 2400 with Supra pistons. Had to shave the lips down to specs so the pistons had clearance. 3/4 in Crower cam, dual Webber 42 side drafts. Headers with 2 1/2" exhaust pipe from the collector to tips. Had to put a Mustang radiator for more coolant volume with the bigger CC size. Dropped on 15" Einkei 26's P-195 50 Rikens. Called it the Z killer.

Another triumph! I like that hose idea, I never even thought of doing that to get some initial circulation and flush out the nasty gunk. Do you have a patreon kicking around somewhere? we gotta fund these whacky adventures :-)

This is great that you have it running again. What was your reasoning for swapping out the carb? When I had trouble with the carb on my 72 Celica I just rebuilt it. It is still running fine 4 yrs later. This has been a fun car to drive for me. I've been driving mine for over 50 yrs. I hope you get to enjoy yours as long.

In previous videos I was using the carb off my dads 74. Mine never came with a carb... so opted to just get a Weber. But ya, usually I would just rebuild the original as I try to do things on a budget👍🏼

May be going 20r on mine. Got a free head and 2 valve covers for one. Jake also talking me into going more O.G. with it along with my gf's relative who gave me the 3 pieces. He has one I could most likely buy for like $160 or something.
