This helped me get my steering wheel off because I had replaced the MDPS and that was a pain. I'm not a mechanic and didn't know the steering was set aligned so removed it to better work underneath. This helped thank you.

Is it necessay to remove the sterring wheel to remove the cluster? I kind of skimmed through the steering wheel part because I was more interested in the cluster removal. Great video, Thanks..!
The black clips front farest out and two silver clips under tape . Those need release to get full release of gauge lenses.
iIt's a pity your not in New Zealand, I'd be coming around with my Veloster.
Cracking video, very helpful! Just the 1 question.....did the air-bag light come on after reassembley? Do you need to then go get it turned off like when you turn ignition on? Thanks
Hey thanks. Haven’t been able to watch it because my service but will this help me find out what wire is messed up to fix my horn? And all he buttons on he wheel?
I replaced my steering wheel, I have a manual so I switched the backing of the original out with the new wheel. So there is the hook ups for that not hooked up to anything. Anyway, i installed it, everything fit and went in just as it came out, but the horn doesnt work anymore. Have you ever had to deal with this? If so how did you fix the problem? Also, do you think not having the pedal shifter wires plugged in makes any difference?

Hey, nice video. I'd like to change the steering wheel in my i30 GDH to a different one. Do you know if the i30 PD steering wheel would be compatible with it?
How can I take off just the wheel trim?
Do I have to remove the whole steering wheel just to get the center trim that you paint in blue or I can doi it just removing the air bag?
U can remove the cluster only just did that there is enough room for it to get out

i attempted to do this by taking off those torx bolts and those things are in there really damn hard.. are they suppost to be that way because i was starting to get scared that i might break or strip it, it never slipped but im just asking should i just use as much strength as its pretty much requiring? because i was trying to turn it pretty hard.
+z Z RedVeNoM Z z Yeah, the first time I removed them I ended up destroying a screwdriver in the process. (Turned the rubber handle around the center metal piece of the screwdriver lol) They are in there good. But give it enough force and they will break loose.

Read owner manual
think bulb twist clockwise
Loosen 2 bolts
on light for extra room wiggle it
