Hello! I have question about your IS. I have one as well and I am thinking about doing similar mods to the ones you have done. What is your 0-100 now? Does it consume significantly more fuel? Thanks for your answer! Nice vid! :)
Hello, I dont have supercharger on Lexus anymore but with my mods it made 0-100kph in 6s and 0-160kph in 14s. On normal driving the fuel consumption was about the same as with stock car.
@@goncalolourenco6989 Well, they are very different. Lexus can be very fast in straight line when boosted, but it’s still heavyweight luxury sedan with not so sharp steering. It can be a bit unpredictable when going sideways in corners, because I don’t have aftermarket sport suspension on it. It can bite you on the limit, but that makes it kinda interesting. I like the engine, even without supercharger it’s still fun to drive (exhaust, decatted manifold and lightened flywheel made a huge difference in throttle response and overall feeling) BRZ on the other hand is a true lightweight sports car with very sharp handling, good suspension from factory, perfect handling and seating position, but the engine is its weak point - it doesn’t have any character, power or sound. Its just there to make the car moving :D There is the famous torque dip in middle revs that can be solved by decatted UEL manifold and ECU tuning but I would like to keep the car as stock as possible. I love driving both cars but when I get in IS after driving BRZ, I always feel like I’m driving bus :-)
@@HoonZa wow I appreciate the detailed answer. I have had an IS for 4 years now and always like the hear people’s opinion on it and since I also really like the 86 it’s cool to hear your comparison :)
Didn’t know you had a BRZ 😁 Such fun cars to drive, great video

How does it compare to IS200 ? Much more fun ha ?
Have you traded the IS for the BRZ?
No, I have both :)
@@HoonZa oh cool, I would really like for you to do a comparison between them. Like how the IS handles compared to the 86 :)
