21:18 In the station properties, on the left, you can set 'base price %'. Ramp that bad boy up (like they did to water) to increase your margins. "I wish I could mine and look around" You can, if you get mining turrets with 'independent targeting'. Then you set the fire group to whatever you want and they'll do their thing with whatevers in range. also.. you CAN add guns to stations/mines if they're in high risk areas. That will require gunners, but I usually throw a few crappy turrets I'm not using onto my mines and they seem to survive. If you get R miners/salvagers, you must have a transporter system equipped on your ship. (I got burned on that before). The R fighters (and turrets) are much more efficient but it requires you take the output to a Resource Depot to convert the scrap to usable ore. Battle tactic suggestion: Set your warp point BEFORE you engage the enemy so you can leave in a hurry if you have to. (Unless they have a jammer, then you gotta find and kill the guy jamming your hyperdrive). (BTW, your station looks AMAZING.. how much time did that take? Your Empyrion building skills have carried over)
First, have Assembly blocks on your ship. Then place fight you want to produce into the open Blueprint Slot for the squad. You lose the fighter as it turns into a blueprint, however you can now make those fighters yourself and even supply them to other of your Ships/Stations
You prolly dont care but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Nash Tyson Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
By the way, those "weird long range lasery things" are railguns. they are very good long range weapons and have multiple block penetration so are very good against large hulled ships. They also have infinite velocity so require no lead, just point and click. A lot of pirate or xsotan ships that are long range either use railguns or cannons.
Spanj, as a player with several dozens of hours in the game, I can tell you that as soon as I started testing with inertia dampeners none of my ships lacked them afterwards...While they consume a LOT of energy and are HEAVY, the improvement of QoL in the maneuvering of the ships is 100% worth the hassle.
It's not as important so long as you test how far your braking distance is from top speed. That way, once you're that way away from a station, you can let off the accelerator and you'll coast the rest of the way. You can test your deceleration speed by zooming past a station and letting off the accelerator just as you pass it, then measure how long it takes you to stop by how far you end up away from the station. You can do that with just letting off the accelerator, and with spinning around and boosting in the opposite direction for comparison.
Stations will be traded with by ships all over the place, they will will warp in from wherever. What is more important is how you set the price. You can either set a low buy price for the inputs, or a high price for the products, but not both. I like to set as high output price as I can and still have ships sell me input materials, then I buy the products and sell them myself. Though the buy price will be high, you're buying from yourself anyway, so it's already all your own money. As for where to place your station within a system, do not place it too far away from the system defending ships or else it takes them too long to get there and defend you, but try not to place them right near where lots of raids happen, so you may need to stick around for a while and observe.
Stations have a max cargo capacity of 25 K. So dont build its cargohull much bigger that. But generally it needs a figtherbay (cargo figthers) also crewcabin and shields. But it seems like you have what it needs. Now you can build a waterplant and a oxygen station. Then you will be selfsuficient.
hehe You dont need oxigen, its produces it with fruit. What is on the left you need for production, in this case just water and energy cells. But i like the station design. Oh and you dont need assemlies, its for fighter production.
Trading really tricky. I myself have been playing for about 60 hours and have only found a couple trade routes that are worthwhile. The issue you might run into (I know I have) is that trying to set up the AI on your ships to do the trade circuit can quickly be an exercise in frustration as they get stuck on their orders for no reason
I think the "block turd" is actually called greeble-ing and is meant to make ehat would be an otherwise blank surface more interesting. The term originates with star wars.
You got me to buy this game after a lot of contemplation of what to buy. And as many others have stated why is the station not shaped as a fist? We have been hoodwinked!
@@Spanj I was wrong. Made 100k selling water in the first half hour or so. Made maybe 30k in the 3 hours after because the places that are buying water are consuming very little of it.
you should have built one of the basic stations on the first tab, they don't need any goods to produce their stuff and are going to make you money in the (very) long run 😀 for the other tabs you need to built factory chains to be productive
When buying the fighters, you buy one from a station and look for other stations to buy more, you dont pay attention to the quantity next to the price ? The one station had 8 miners and you went looking else where after buying only one ?
Ok I'm finally getting into this series maybe it's because i know whats coming up. Greet Vid really enjoyed it....... Will Spanj venture to a new sector will he F.I.S.T the new station crew. Seems he's feeling a bit fruity. All questions will be answered soon at a channel near you. P.S. watch the chilling and building Stream. ;)

thanks :D
Station didnt take too long, couple of hours, did a lot of copy and paste

this!
Make a fighter production "ship" somewhere safe. Keep a stockpile of your favorite fighters there in case you lose your ship.
You prolly dont care but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account??

@Noel Enoch instablaster :)

SuperSteaders mount them on a coaxial turret mount and you have long-range death wherever your ship is pointing.

I have a warship made out of armour and the inertial dampeners make her so much more controllable in battle.

"FIST" Station? LOL what kind of show is this?
Not sure I want to watch!! :D
Sounds like a brutal video

You could have gone for a Solar Plant as it does not require any purchases to operate
You got me to buy this game after a lot of contemplation of what to buy.

You should of built a water collector
Stations are a thing in the ships section of the Workshop ;)
Should have made a water station.
my next station will be

Looks like a repackaged pre-pre alpha of empyrion
Nah, it has a lot in common but it's got a lot that Empyrion doesn't really do so well. It's OK to enjoy both.
Space Oranges or Spanjerines?😎
XD
been enjoying the series and the vids but the more you watch the more you realise it's just a complicated poor man's EVE. I'll stick to empyrion ;)
Sounds painful?

Lol how much spanj allways misses settings by not actually looking them when they are in same page and are needed :)
spanj i dont wanna watch a 40 min video can u do a 5min tutorial on stuff
First it says that I am the only one watching
Your trade system is too weak. u need "Permanent Install" the Exceptional one or above , then it can show u local supply and demand.
