Love my C1, it looks fantastic with the Olympia paint! Cutlass Black is also good but I have no real use for it after pledging for the spirit.

I agree, multi crew skip until Corsair.
I pledged this game over a year ago but couldn’t get into it then. Now with the updates that have been implemented I came back and upgraded my pledge ship to this. Have not regretted the decision yet.
The C1 has been my daily driver since the day it released.
This is one of my favorite ships. I have it as a loaner for a Zeus and love it. I sometimes think I don't want the Zeus and would prefer to keep the C1.
I do wish it had a side door though, like the Freelancer.
Totally agree, side Doors are a must have.
Same for me. Upgradet my C1 to a Zeus CL and I hope, I will not regret.
I Love the c1 so much ! I also like the matching music in the background. The C1 reminds me slightly of the beautiful Normandy

Upgraded from Nomad to C1. No regrets. C1 it's absolutely awesome, looks amazing, flights beautifully, can do some nice cargos hauling, can accomodate many vehicles and boost forever :D. I think I'll be totally at home in it when 3.23 will come out.
Shields are the only downside imho, but we can't have everything right?
I agree, the shield and lack of another door, other thant that, amazing.
No reason why it shouldn't get a 2nd shield.

Amazing ship and one of the best looking! The Zeus I think is a step above but will be slower, in my opinion. To each their own :D

My daily driver. I have an upgrade from it to the Zeus CL, time will tell wich one will be better - I really want the extra cargo space, but not if it flies like a brick.
C1 + a vulture is all you need to buy a reclaimer in short order with the current salvage sale prices. I just scraped until I could fill my C1 and was bringing home a million aUEC in RMC when it's full.

But how long did it take to fill the C1 with RMC doing salvage with a Vulture? I gave up cause it was taking hours.

It's an alright ship but I prefer my Taurus great amount of cargo a tractor beam built in the bottom turret spot loads of health and great shield

Will they ever allow switching to Tractor Beam mode from the pilot's seat?
It does not make sense to absolutely have to switch seats for that.
I've upgraded to A1 instead. At least in A1, I can use both functions of the ship from one seat.
Probably not, that is stupid that you have to switch seats for the tractor beam. For A1 you also need to be in a copilot seat to use a turret.
It's definitely my favorite ship as well.
Another one of my favorites, run the same set up and paint and switch to laser cannons sometimes. Between the c1 and 400i, got dailys covered. I bought the Zeus mk2 cl curious how it'll stack up against the c1 and 400i.

I admit I do like the look of the C1, but after buying the cutty black I can't bring myself to upgrade to the C1.... Yet
Having owned a black for many years, I can say that I enjoy the C1 much more. Love how the C1 handles in space and atmo. It is a good dog fighter because of that. 64scu cargo!
Like all ships with a ramp, you need to watch where you park. One of my bigger annoyances in the game.
The Cutty Black is an institution all on its own, but the C1 is a decent upgrade.

One thing I really hate about the C1 is the landing gear.
its difficult to land on rough terrain with it and I wasnt able to get back into my ship, more than one time.
This makes it difficult to go ROC-mining.
You should try Corsair with it's little legs like Trex arms lol 🤣

All in all the C1 is a perfect ship for 1-2 person and I hope, I will not regret updating to the Zeuss CL.
All ships (with a ramp) suffer the RAMP bug. I've bugged it so many times!
Cutlass the better all rounder, this is a great non combat ship though

Would not really consider it best, but it's definately the best starter ship if you can afford it....
Exactly, i mentioned that in video for beginners to medium players with some experience in game. The next logical step up.
But it will be much better when the game introduces engineering and we can't solo big ships.
I really like the aesthetics of the c1, but I ended trading my freelancer max for the Taurus. I'm a sucker for those elevators.
What was your main reason for upgrading from FL max to Taurus?
@stimcitizen2640 The main reason was the cargo elevator, but I like the looks and layout better. Honestly, I didn't even know it had a tractor beam until after I got it, but that's my favorite thing about now, and how well it works with the cargo hold.
Which ballistic guns have the most ammo per size?
All size 3 are low on ammo, so I use deadbolts, because they and tarantulas have the biggest DPS.

To me, the Cutlass Black and Corrsair are the two best solo/multi crew ships. I have a loaner C1 until the Zeus is delivered, and the C1 is just too wide with only one way in.
Yeah, Cutlass for me is the next. I just love C1 design.
The C1 is getting upgraded to bigger hangers in 3.23, so that issue is getting sorted out 😊

... for the majority of space-farers on exterior-aesthetic, alone... probably. But, after your extended showcase of the Corsair... I can't imagine spending money and not getting what seems to be the best "bang-for-the-buck". Additionally... I personally believe I prefer the Drake aesthetic considerably more.
I agree, but C1 would be the perfect ship for someone who is doing CCU to Corsair. That is what I have done ☺️
How much was the skin? Today it's been sold for 39usd in the grey market. Beatiful but ain't worth ito now.

That would be awesome, but not as effective as Cutlass Red, smaller profile and can reach more places and longer landing gear.
I was waiting for it so much but in reality it is a bit boring and those wings are too wide. Melted it for Zeus CL.
Yeah the wings are a little too big but it is very good in the atmosphere. Zeus should be a very nice ship. We will see.
Have to disagree. If your running cargo it's very easy for a murder hobo to run past you as you wait for your ramp.
Needs a second ladder type entrance.

im going to have disagree with this one. sry lol the Cutti Black is the best all around ship in the game + it cheaper. it is smaller in length and beam so it will fit into some or most caves and you can still fit a Roc into it and it has more guns/missiles.
Yeah, I mentioned in the video that Cutlass Black is also mwp for players that do not want or can't buy C1 right now. I just like design of C1 little more than Cuty. o7

Quick question, in what way is it better than a Taurus? Taurus has more firepower, and more storage. Also the tractor beam is just as useful. Also also, the Taurus won't get shoved into a too small landing bay every time it wants to land. The Taurus is just better... fight me.
Taurus is better, this one is cheaper, Cutlass Black and this ship are better because of the price.
Why will I fight you ? What if, instead of fighting, we inquire together, as two friends what is better and in that process we , both, learn and become better human beings. Conflict leads to suffering.

I own both. Taurus is way slower. C1 is just more fun to fly. I use them for different tasks.

It's a cargo ship with 4 size 3 weapons 2 of which are on a fixed gimbal. I like.

Yeah, you can still get it on the gray market but it is very expensive. 20-30 bucks. Try impound.com or star hanger. o7
