The ABE is mainly relevant here in Germany. Most other EU countries allow the 25km/h e-scooters, in Germany they need to go 20km/h max. and either need an individual approval (probably costs more than the scooter so it's not worth it) or the ABE which is valid for all scooters of that type. Unfortunately just reducing the speed to 20km/h does not give the ABE. Also an insurance is needed. With e-bikes it's a bit easier in Germany, they don't need the insurance or type approval (ABE) if they only have assisted pedaling up to 25km/h and they can be modified to be compliant unlike the scooters.

Hi, thanks for commenting. This version is ABE certified, which means in EU countries, it is able to register and then drive on the road as normal.
