Seriously considering this one. I put almost 1000 miles on a GOTRAX scooter this summer, and the battery range dropped about 25%. I'm thinking about getting one of these. If it lasts a single year, I'm happy at this price range. The cost of replacing a battery is usually prohibitive, if you are lucky enough to be able to find one.
Man, that's a real bummer. I wish it really was actually $200. I checked Amazon right after seeing this and it's $199.99 with $70 shipping. I then tried your affiliate link in the description and it shows up $269.99 with free shipping that way. That's a pretty hard sell, especially when you consider that a 120 watt one from the same brand is $99 free shipping. So, with the price difference I could get both my first electric scooter and a first electric scooter for my son for only $20 more if the scooter was actually 200 bucks. That's a crazy price difference to me!

My main point was that this video was claiming to review a $200 scooter, but the scooter was actually $70 more and the video wasn't even old. My real world example was that the difference in the price this video states vs the real world price is the difference between buying 1 scooter or buying 2. I went with the 500 watt model with removable seat from the same company. If I'm gonna pay more anyway, I may as well pay just a bit more for something with more power. But, man I would have loved to be able to just spend $200 + tax and be set. That price would have been hard to beat! It's been a blast scootering with the kids all summer.

It seems like that electric scooter is perfect for short commutes. If you want to travel 3 miles to a location and 3 miles back (6 miles) relatively quickly then that scooter will be perfect. Even if you want to travel 6 miles to a location and 6 miles back (12 miles) then that scooter will also do just fine. But do not expect it to take you 20 miles to a location and 20 miles back (40 miles) on a full charge because that scooter wouldn’t work. Many electric scooters are made for different purposes.
Oh yeah I 100% agree, Would be a great commuter within a reasonable distance. But not too bad for the price overall. What kind of scooters do you like?

The MAIN ad text shows 500 watt, regardless of which scooter you have selected! To be clear, the price and photo do change as you select different ones, (250W, 350W or 500W), as does the smaller ad text, but the wattage on the MAIN ad text doesn't change! And, it's not easy for most people to check. As your video left out the wattage, this is an important variable.
Chargers for a lot of these scooters when they are 2+ amps tend to get fairly hot. Overall its totally normal. But still occasionally keep an eye on it.
That would be a bit difficult. But its possible. Its just so much is integrated into the build its hard to tell. I assume they probably use the same type connectors most do. But overall once you're riding you dont even notice that slight bit of play in the handlebars.

Yeah, I thought of that too. But maintaining the battery and keeping it out of the Winter / morning cold may mean you'd have to bring it inside part of the year / regularly.
🥹 There is a -Scooter with Yellow bar at background far right. I have a similar one my foot 🦶 stuck between D side bar when I slow down to dip my foot 🦶 down, but my foot got trapped. My body already tilted, I flopped sideways 😮😮 yeah ITS major design flaw. I will NEVER buy any Scooter with those front side bars around the toes!!!😮

For every e22 pro listing in every color it's either $200 with a mandatory $70 delivery fee regardless of if you have prime or just straight up $269.99 with free shipping. Now that I've done my research it's kinda irrelevant though. Pretty much every folding scooter has a metal latch for the stem but this one is plastic so it would be quite easy to go over a rough bump and snap it rendering the scooter useless until fixed. Huge design flaw imo.

You don’t want this scooter the stem hook is made of plastic you can see when the stem is down, it could fail over its usage and you than have a $300+useless scooter that’s the reason I didn’t get one

Yeah I know the difference hands down lol, the electric cable reaching to the back seemed stiffer than normal, so i thought they may have done something odd like put a drum brake in the rear under the motor some how. Just turns out it was a stiffer electric cable for the rear motor.
