Cunfon RZ1000 Review: Everything You Need to Know!
Hey everyone! In this video, I unbox and review the new Cunfon RZ1000 electric scooter. Here's a quick rundown of what I cover:
What's in the Box: Check out the user manual, tools, reflectors, and the 2.2A charging brick that comes with it.
Design & Controls: I dive into the thumb throttle, display, left/right indicators, headlight, park mode, eco/sport/race modes, and that super loud horn.
Performance: With dual 1200W motors, this scooter is a beast on hills and perfect for heavier riders up to 440 lbs.
Build & Comfort: Featuring 10-inch tires, dual mechanical brakes, and full suspension with dual shocks front and back, it's a smooth ride.
Folding Mechanism: The easy fold mechanism snaps into place effortlessly, although at 75 lbs, it's not the lightest for carrying around.
Lighting: It has deck lighting and a bright headlight (though it could be brighter), and indicators that could be better positioned for visibility.

Im looking at the inmotion climber, inmotion s1f. And now I’m also looking at the fluid horizon and fluid mosquito. NOE IM LOOKING THAT THIS! I can’t decide!!!
LOL @MrShOpOw, the inmotion is a lot smaller/lighter and not nearly the power...but a solid unit :) the fluid's are tiny :)

Of note, I just bought the RZ1000 and the box and manual are all branded as the RZ800. I contacted support and they confirmed it should be the RZ1000 and they just re-used the RZ800 box and the same manual. I am still waiting for it to charge to confirm, but it does have the orange colorway (which only the RZ1000 has). Another thing, I can't find a digital manual or any FAQ or support docs on their website, which is a bit of a bummer. Will update once it charges and have drive it.
I had that experience too...I think I even said 800 in some of the videos I made about it lol...but it's a lot better than 800 :)
@@TimsElectric You did in one video and it threw me off for sure. Another interesting thing I noticed, you can't start the scooter while it is plugged in and charging.

I'm looking into getting an E-Scooter for transportation to and from work, and I was really hoping you might have a recommendation! I'm a heavier rider and need to carry things, so I'm trying to find a good scooter with around a 500+ LBs capacity. I've seen a few on Amazon, including the Hosysa Electric Scooter claiming to support up to 880lbs but I'm a bit worried about getting scammed as the prices seem to good to be real compared to other E-Scooters I've seen. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Either something I could buy in the city or online would work. This one might be what I need to get, I just want to make sure I get the best option available for me.

Hello, I am glad I stumbled on your channel while looking for an electric scooter. Im a bigger guy around 6'1" and right around 300lbs I drive truck and also love the outdoors i have been looking for a lightweight, powerful, and fun scooter that I could fit under my bunk in a cemi-truck but also take home and use to go play around on my property (gravel and grass) im new to the electric scooters and dont even know where to begin i found this particular scooter on amazon which lead me down rabit hole after rabit hole and at this point i feel a bit overwhelmed. Would you have any more recommended scooters that have a high weight capacity, off-road tires, decent power, and speed that's reliable and sturdy but also fairly lightweight (under 90lbs)? Bonus points if it's under $1500 usd. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as a google search has turned up nothing for any electric scooter stores or rentals near me.
Awesome @codyforbes7628, happy to try and help...probably best that you email me directly...just fill out the form on my website (you'll need to repeat a couple of things that you mentioned here) ....this one is pretty solid and depending on which country you're in could be found for a good price on Amazon :) Others to look at that aren't as robust for off roading might be the emove cruiser as it has good range...but it doesn't have the power of this one. :)
Cable management on these scooters are great. The only thing is the bars are to short and I don't think you can change them
thanks @MrNutz52, the bars are short...I found at six feet it was no problem....but any taller could be an issue...I agree the cable management is excellent :)
are the outer ones mentioned in your comment?
What about inner cable-, and connectormanagement? Just be aware, check with a specialist mate, just to avoid burnt cables and short-circuit. I have had bad experience(with a kukirin m5 pro).

@@TimsElectric I sent a text message but they haven't answered me yet, and now I was on my phone checking the app and somehow my speed limit went from 31 to 15 speed limit on my race mode. I don't know if I did a good purchase to be honest.

@TimsElectric I do believe it is the app, I saw a video on RUclips explaining how to fix the speed problem, I tried to fix it, but I haven't had the time to check it out, if It works I would let you know.
Want to know how long battery lasts for the speed can you keep up the speed and power how long dose it last

Can you adjust the brake position and angle at all though? If you can't adjust those things, I can never dial in the feel of anything. The bars/cockpit looks all fixed in place. Is it not?
I keep forgetting to reply to you ..so sorry...yes you can adjust the positions ...rotate ...there's an allen bolt style screw you can loosen :) @time410s

I know in another one of your videos u mention that ur favorite is the Apollo city. I guess my question is how this cunfon rz1000 compares to Apollo city. I purchased the inmotion climber as my first e-scooter. But feel like this or Apollo city would be a better choice? I live in SF Bay Area so I have a lot of hills
Interesting @MrShOpOw, it depends on your weight...I remember riding around SF in 2020 and the city would be fine for most of the hills...but there were a couple that could cause some issues.....especially if you're a big guy like me....in which case more power could be helpful...it depends on your typical ride and weight...but follow up here :)
@@TimsElectric I got the inmotion climber. It def gets me up hills. But I’m still wanting a bit more speed and distance. I like it but find myself still looking at Apollo city or cunfon rz1000. Im just not sure if about the weight since both of those are heavier.

so the Cunfon and Apollo are heavier...but not by a lot...love the smooth ride of the dual 500w motors on the Apollo but the range and extra power and battery size of the RZ 1000 is very tempting.....hope that helps :) :) Ask me anything :)

How do you change from dual to single motor?
Awesome question @joey-cv9uw, I don't remember on this model..some have switched and some are done on the display/buttons (combination of pressing power etc.) but honestly I don't recommend riding in anything but dual motor...better for the wear and tear of the unit (motors) plus almost zero difference in range switching to single motor :)

Awesome question @Crypto16, I'm not sure about the deck lights....I think you can turn them off or on...of course the headlights you can turn on and off ....but the battery is big so I wouldn't worry about running it down with the lights :)
