Just got my GO a couple days ago and I absolutely love it. Like you said its a brick house and so much fun to use. I'm new to using e-scooters and didn't really know what to expect. I can't stop smiling. The GO is a blast!
I’m glad you agree!! Welcome to the Go family. What also I loved was the parts that comes with it and the tool kit is very good!! Thanks for watching. Hope you subscribed!!
What a quality first escooter! Happy for yah! 🙏😁✌️🙌✨🎉congrats & enjoy & be safe!🙏✨👍💯
Great review--thank you!
My previous scooter experience was on rentals, the Lime in particular, but I bought the 2024 Apollo Go.
Go is faster & quicker than the 2024 Lime, but the Lime is smoother, more comfortable, and more stable.
The Go wheels are tiny for portability, but it’s a bumpy ride and not very comfortable. The wheels take literally five strokes from the Joe Blow bike pump.
The Go won’t fit in my WRX sedan trunk, unless I leave the trunk open. It’s very tight.
The Go fits in the back seat of my car but it takes the full length of the seat. I’m not sure if the City or Klima would fit on the back seat.
The Go fits easily in our Impreza hatchback, and it could easily hold two
The deck of the Go is a bit cramped and I find myself shifting my feet around frequently on a one hour ride.
The Go climbs small hills well, and large hills slowly. I live in the mountains.
Battery drains quickly for 195 pound rider at mostly full speed, but it lasts a long time at more comfortable speeds.
Dot Matrix display needs trip odometer and clock. Definitely room for improvement on the display. I don’t like it.
Quad phone mount is useful but I don’t like fiddling with my phone.
Excellent production quality & shipping
Unit arrived from Best Buy in two days, perfect shape
Very good help desk response over text & email
Good printed documentation for setup
Decent smart phone app for settings, but could be simplified.
Good assembly video on RUclips.
Easy & exciting setup.
I never want to be a scooter mechanic and Paul @Electric Scooter Review scored the Go 9.2 out of 10 for maintenance. This was a big factor in my purchase.
I like the scooter but wish for longer range and a smoother ride, without sacrificing portability. I want it all!
Now I’m thinking I might go with electric bikes if I had the choice again.
wow this was a great comment thank you for sharing!!! I agree with Paul he is legit!!! One of my fav influencers.. Thanks for the comment and please sub!
I'm riding the Apollo City Pro 2023 ... just clocked 200kms... loving it so far! Going to likely buy the GO as my secondary.
Wow that’s awesome. I’m glad you stopped by to watch. Hope you subscribed. 😊
I have Apolo City pro 23 I absolutely love it! Comfortable and torque is very nice
I bought the go when it was preorder. I have a lemon with a bunch of problems. I wish I got the punk rider pro instead. Only have 8 miles on my go
Well it has a 12 month warranty so that should help. I also have exclusive coupon for Punk which is a limited offer $100 off. We are working our next review on them.
@@StayConnectedEVI got the Punk Rider Pro and it rocks, not gonna lie. Coupons and everything included, it’s a no brainer to get the Punk over the GO (plus the no sales tax was a game changer!)
@@mcraven747 we will be posting our review on that very soon!
I have to say the Niu KQi 300x is better designed but lacks power, the latch and release mechanism is more solid the turn signal light faces the rear (as it should) and doesn't break when the scooter falls on the handle like the Apollo, the 2-step stem latch is more sophisticated and secure, doesn't require the flimsy rubber strap, just a smarter design overall but could benefit from dual suspension and more power which I heard they're working on. Wish both made a carbon fiber version that's much lighter and portable.
I have over 100 km on mine and love it 🏁
That’s awesome
Very good review! I agree about having some rubber tips on the side of the turn signals. I wonder if i would be able to find some universal fit ones to put there. This is definitely getting me closer to getting thos for my son. He's gonna be 13 in july and he is only 64Lbs and about 5ft tall so i think this is definitely a good scooter for him as an upgrade from the Segway Zing C20 kids scooter that he's had for 3 years and now starting to not be fast enough for him 😅 thanks for the review and the really good close up look of the scooter. 😎👊
Thank you! You could keep it in level 2 so he really can learn. Im very thankful it gave you what you were looking for. The company is a fantastic company as you can see they are responding to our comments too. Please make sure you subscribe as we will be having a ton of other scooters too and e-bikes!
@StayConnectedEV thank you so much for the advice and hell yeah i subscribed! 👊😎
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 Thank you very much!
Turn signals are nice...nice "cockpit"
Lol..
Inspected July 2024. Need to get back to the future
Hahahha you caught the Easter egg!! I do this sometimes in my videos.
My Apollo go rear suspension has a load squeak noise when I stand on the deck. I tried lube. Apollo said I probably have a lemon. Now I wait for my claim.
Very odd, did you check to make sure no pebbles got stuck in the rubber shocks? Sometimes they can get stuck.. Either way I'm hopeful they can handle your claim!! Thanks for the comment!
Hi @mike - apologies for this experience, rest assured, our team will help take care of this and replace it if any issues (hence our 12 year warranty :-)). If not done yet, please message our support team, and we'll be sure to help here!
@@ApolloScooters
May be just 10 years on the frame???!!!😮😂
Have you tried the Apollo City 2024? If so which would you recommend? I need something good on hills (some steep). The tire size of the Go worries me. But the 65lb weight of the City is def not ideal for me... i don't know what to do..
Not yet. Would love to
Overall, this escooter is a solid 7/10.
I’d say yes close
Nice deck
Come on Bruce you gotta get one! Lol...
@@StayConnectedEV ...i can afford only wood......
@@IMBruceECLECTIC hahahaha thats funny
"Unbelievable support"?? Are you sure you're talking about Apollo scooters? Their lack of customer support, and lack of replacement parts is the main reason I have chosen not to purchase an Apollo scooter.
I would love to purchase an Apollo Go, but I just can't bring myself to pulling the trigger on it. I just don't trust Apollo's customer support, and parts availability. As a $1200 doorstop, the Go could very well turn into a Stay. As in stay unfixable and stay unridable.
I have used the support and worked fine for me
Great review! We have a new version of an electric scooter, we think you will like it. We just sent an email to you and looking forward to your reply!
Thanks!
Light is outstanding for making u stand out
It truly is at night it is super bright!!
Nice deck furniture...weight rating...😂😅
Over 300lbs Wayfair :P
Great review. Scooters suck...not riding any scooter...fast freaking bikes RULE! 📏🦵💪🚴♂️
LOL.. ill convert you one day ..hahah
@@StayConnectedEV ...too old and not graceful
@@IMBruceECLECTIC never too old.. lol
I’m 65 and have the Go scooter love it 🛴
Big tires like 14" & up!!! Way safer over potholes.🎉😂❤
