your arguments on the Perkz change don’t make sense because he wasn’t benched due to performance, and obviously it wasn’t a team environment issue either because Jankos and Flakked are against the change. it was manager ego, plain and simple
For what I have read about the benching of Perkz and about the situation. It seems to me that they were doing pretty well in the scrims, result wise, but the managers mentioned to problems in the the mid-game communications and maybe that still had the same issues it had during the season. We all know that Perkz has always been wonderful in the mid-game macro and is excellent leader but maybe, and this is a big speculation, maybe the others looked too much up for him and started to be followers instead of leaders, which is a role Jankos has also excelled. With this change, and addition to Trymbi. I would be surprised if Jankos will not have a big comeback split and become again the leader of the team (From my understanding while Trymbi communicates _A LOT_ he does not actually make the decisions on what to do, and this is where Jankos will step up and team might look completely different)... Unless I'm wrong and the disagreements with the players and management just gets worse and worse and this is all becomes a big crazy clusterboomboom.
if we count the whole split i do think irrelevant, razork and would say alvaro/labrov were slightly more consistent, but i don't mind the results
i dont agree...Caps and BBare...theyre just...theres no way past them. Oim sorry but anybody who tries to tell me Irrelevant and myrwin (AS GOOD as they played) where even REMOTELY as good as bb...is cant take that seriously. They also BOTH lost DIRECTLY into BB no? as in god OUTPLAYED...hard.
The whole split? I get Irrelevant, but he didn't play against good players - he didn't face off Adam, Myrwn or BB. So I just can't give it to him. Razork I don't get, or rather I would say I don't get why Yike isn't the sure answer - his regular split was insane and he was the best G2 player and he carried many of their games - undeniably. After that he had a really strong playoffs - I kinda get why people would take Razork, because he doesn't have the G2 members and still performed strong, but the higher peaks and the consistency are still points were Yike was even better. Alvaro/Labrov FOR SURE need to be over Miky.

We didn't see Irrelevant vs BB tho, only in Bo1 and there Irrelevant could actually hold his ground. I would also say BB is definitely better than Irrelevant, but they didn't really face each other tho ;)
But yes, I can't take people who put Adam and Myrwn above BB serious either - yes, Adam looked really good over the split. For his team. Because they played for him. BDS is basically the Adam-Show most of the time, BB can do whatever he needs to do - of course Adam looks more flashy, but that doesn't make him the better toplaner. Like holy did Adam get destroyed by BB - every time. Myrwn the same. How is this even a conversation? I don't understand this.

People tend to value different things when putting their lists together. For me I typically prefer to value how much of a positive impact the player had on their team over just them having playing well as it then becomes easy to only look at the top 3 teams because they have the most wins in the split.
Razork was one of the most important players in getting his team wins across the LEC, his Vi alone was winning FNC games with his playmaking. I value that higher than a player like Yike just doing what his team needed to most of the time, granted he did step it up later on as the split went. Irrelevant is another easy one, SK would not look anywhere near as good as they did without him. Nisqy did have good games but the team really fell off after week 1, Irrelevant was how they very nearly made it into top 4. Both support and ADC I'd probably edge out Hans and Mikyx over Ice and Alvaro but those are probably the 2 I'd consider the closest. Ice was good but I feel like he got put on Varus duty a lot which makes it easier to look good over something like a Lucian or Kalista, and I barely remember other games of his outside of his Ezreal which was only a single series again MAD. For Alvaro against Mikyx you could probably ask me on another day and I'd say Alvaro then the next Mikyx, there isn't a clear obvious choice for me.
For mid I don't think anyone is arguing against Caps, everyone else I don't even know who I'd put in second, maybe Nuc? It was the other positions I feel that are much more up to debate than just putting in each member of G2 in as the roster of the split.

Jankos said they where improving and doing well in scrims before Perkz got benched. Yamato knows what happened and says his benching is the stupidest thing and saying it is attitude related is a joke compared to the Adam situation.

i have no idea about perkz and team heretics but as you said perkz is leadership person but when he left g2... jankos become that person and when they reunited this could be an issue too... but we have no idea what happens thats just one possible aspect

If you see the coms they speak a lot, they are not missing louder players, they had a lot of voices in coms.
@@filonso2841A lot of voices does not equate with there to be actual leader and my instinct would be that the Jankos did become more of a follower instead of the leader he used to be when paired again with Perkz. And even how good and knowledgeable about the game Perkz is and has always been. It might be that he needs to take a step back and also re-learn some parts of the game to bounce back and become the truly great leader once again.

yike over razork is not nearly as absurd as everyone is making out to be. if anything sticks out more here it's hans who you can actually argue was not the best adc. and miky this split was, without disrespect, trolling
Labrov or Alvaro deserved it more.
ADC you can make an argument for Ice, Hans and Supa. No one really stood up this split.
The only right answer to Team of the split is:
Top: Broken Blade
Jg: Razork
Mid: Claps
Adc: You are allowed to choose between 2-3 of them
Support: Mikyx or Alvaro
Anything else is just nonsense tbh
Irrelevant was relevant for every game exept for 1 BB just played a good finals and had a decent split. Irrelevant clears this split.
BB had multiple MVP's in playoffs and clearly outperformed everyone. Rewatch the split if you think it's "just finals".

BB lost lane as Kennen vs malphite against Cabochard, his regular split was bad his playoffs was better, how does this make him the best? Its just recency bias and you are just G2 fanboys if you cant see that Irrelevant on G2 would improve your team drastically.

The term "MVP" is used so weird in this scene. In normal sports, its the most valuable player for the entire league. Here they somehow confuse it with the most valuable player for a specific team. So, people get MVP because the rest of their team is bad, which aint really the intent of the title.
"MVP of the entire league" would just be the best player overall. And that'd be Caps >75% of the time.
"MVP for their team" at least gives more variety.

The player who is worth the most (not who has the bigger contract, but who we actually believe is worth most in the league). Example, if it was most valuable for team in premier league, then harry kane would've won for 6 years straight xd

Saying that yike is better than razork it’s an absolute crime, g2 is the best team overall and the team with the best synergy but this split caps is the only one sure, yike has not been the best jungler, hans hasn’t been the best adc, mikyx and bb are disputable.

Its hard to compare them tbh. Razork looks really good with current FNC roster but he was decent (top 5/6 jungler) with previous rosters/teams. We've only seen Yike in this G2 roster. We don't know what his impact would be in a different team/roster.

How was Hans not the best adc? Constantly draws 2 bans and is crazy consistent in teamfights this split. Even statistically his kda is over 11 for what it's worth.
On top of that him and Noah are the only adc's outside of the East that don't suck at playing Lucian.
Also BB was outlaning everyone in bo3 and bo5 and racking in mvp's. Not that hard to argue him 1st this split.
I totally agree. Hans is quite overrated. I would even say he's a rekkles type of ad but worse. If you don't babysit him he can't really do anything so I can see much better ad in a "worse" team. Same for bb I don't think he's the best at all but hey narratives are making the game sell so let's go for that
You didn't need to bbysit rekkles though he was playing farming sim for 30 mins before grouping. Hans is the contrary he needs ressouces and will play very aggressive with or without leads.
XDD i've never seen such a disastrous take, how can u even compare those 2 ADCs, Rekkles was always more of a teamfight oriented carry and farming till late game while Hans sama has always been an agressive player in lane and snowball such as kalista draven, legit stop talking about thing u don't know please
apparently he’s a really good teammate, and very nice to work with, so he’s very valued. but in game I agree, he’s overrated

Except for BrokenBlade and Caps, really not sure any other G2 member deserves team of the split on their role. Coming from a G2 fan.
Razork was just way better overall than Yikes, and Hans just from all his Aphelios/Senna games, that was not it !

Razork is way more inconsistent & a very emotional player. The guy is hit or miss & was like 4th/5th place jungler for years. He just had 1 'good' split but didn't had a lot of impact in the G2 & MDK series

Razork's calls has literally lost them games. If Razork can't get an early lead, FNC looks lost. Look at their win % when they don't have a gold lead at 15 minutes. G2 drafts for mid/late game. Can't blame Yike for falling behind early when thats their game plan. Its just a risky plan which can be exploited.

Every single EUphoria Drakos brings up Hyli and how bad of an inter he is. Why so personal, Drakos? What has he done to you or you just try to look great in the old casters' eyes? In 90% of the games Hyli has single-handedly served the laning phase's success to Carzzy. Drakos praises Vetheo and his limited champion pool, his egoistic game style on Akali and other self-centered champs, when Akali has absolutely negative win rate in pro games. But, hey, the only one who tries in this team and who of course solo dies should be flamed. He is not French and doesn't have the biggest fan base, so let's flame Hyli! When Mikyx inted, died all the time in the Final series, got tilted and got carried by his great team, the casters were just sympathetically laughing and excusing him. Yea! Great LEC casters' team - non biased..!
But this Split, Hyli has definetly run it down multiple times. I can remember at least 4 games where he he had at least 7 deaths which 3 were completly unnecesary and mistakes. Those were loses with Rakan, Nautilus, Ashe and his Sett was just something else.
G2 is no.1 or no.2 easy in global ranking. BLG is the only competition

Hyli's drama - making every single adc he plays with look great for the cost of casters like Drakos flaming Hyli all the time. Upset was Great while playing with Hyli, now he is noone. Rekkles was great with Hylis, after that he looked so lost even playing with the casters beloved Mikyx. Carzzy was noone before he started playing with Hyli, but now he is the best 3 adc. Where is Hyli? - He is "inter", he is "ruining the team" according to Gold-Plat Drakos and all gold, silver, bronze kids just repeat what they hear from him. That's how casters ruin great players' careers. I bet if Hyli went to the LCK or LPL he would be one of the Goats. Enjoy the LEC judjing players by "not deing". If so Rekkles should be the greatest player alive.
