The "no dead games" is nice. It was always gross to see some Vietnamese team that's 0-5 just get smoked by a LPL team who already qualified.
This way every game is either progressing towards qualifying or staving off elimination. Or both when the last 2 2-2 teams meet.

True. The winter iteration of Fnatic was not a cohesive team. And while people blame Rekkles and Wunder, I think the biggest issue with that team was Rhuckz. But now, they have a carry bot lane, so this is Wunder's time to prove he can play in a team suited to his style. If he fails or bombs hard (highly unlikely), his career would pretty much be over though.
I like the episodes of Euphoria without guests a lot more. Any show, every pro player/coach say the same exact things. Last episode with just Drakos and Caedrel going off with random stuff was one of the best episodes.

I wonder if in League Pro Play the 'Swiss Gambit' is actually a valid tactic, depending on the teams in your bracket. It has at least been proven to be a valid tactic if you are indeed the top dog in the bracket. For this worlds that would probably be Gen.G and JDG.

I think that's bad for G2. With no real challenge, it's harder to improve. They might get stomped by Lpl and Lck teams with things they think they can handle right now.

@@Lazlum Not really a stupid counter - Its used as a counter pick because its easy to hide your actual picks because people expect Aphelios ADC. You also scale just as hard as Kassadin and Kassadin can never contest the wave because he just gets harassed out constantly by Aphelios.
@@fullfradi95 Zac Mid isnt troll. As someone who is really good with Zac, i pick him time to time. If your team lacks tank and AP, Zac can easily carry a game and plus his match-ups are kinda easy if you know your limits.
And i do this for 3 years now so its not smt i just started to do. Im sure i have > 80% win rate with him.
But ofc cant blind him, wouldnt make sense.
really cant gauge how good g2 will be internationally. i think it's really volatile. they either pull off a couple upsets and make a run or get absolutely stomped. i see no in between

Ive been on that side in my younger years. You cant really punch a wall so hard to require surgery; breaking your hand sucks but it doesnt hurt so bad you cant use it and you have to cradle it. With the way he was holding it; looks likely he tore something along his wrist or pinky. Also the dude is like 90 pounds soaking wet; he just wouldnt have the power to damage himself in a way that required surgery
Yike seems to be suffering from quite some imposter syndrome. But remember, if he wasn't really really good, he wouldn't have been picked up by G2 in the first place. Yes, I think G2 makes him look better than another team would, but also he looked as good if not better than Jankos did in G2 and Jankos proved he's not an imposter at all! Tbh I was kind of sceptical last two years of Jankos, but in Heretics he performed so well all year long. I think Jankos was the closest contender to Mickyx for MVP.
Yike is good, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. 2019 G2 is a tough cookie to crack my dude

@@alexandernaydenov7539 yep, and they were also one of the few teams to ever be so close to a golden run, winning everything they could win within the year.
That's not to discredit future g2 rosters or years, with their ups and downs. Let's hope this year they will compete in worlds
@@spacelizard5280 i hope that as well i hope next year split to be full b03 then playoffs full b05 8 teams fighting that would increase lvl or just g2 should give up on trophies in lec and play vs asian teams 4 weeks in korea and 4 in lpl then b05 in whichever region they decide to play just thats how i see g2 improve their lvl cause in lec there is no competion

I love this podcast but honestly the hosts should talk a bit less and the interviewees a bit more. I like listening to Caedrel and Drakos but I can listen to them every week, hearing from the players and coaches is just more interesting.

G2 is the first and biggest victim of LEC atrocious scheduling. Best ceiling of any west team by far and yet there are still here in eu, playing one Bo5 in a month instead of going to korea to get better.
Technically it applies to all 3(or even 4) top teams. Whoever loses between FNC and BDS can fly right after that to Korea. And even that seems delayed. The rest has to go to Montpellier instead -_-

Casters talk as if they know it all, but the truth is that they are just viewers with a better speech ability and bit more experience in viewing (so to say). And yet, they often intentionally influence the rest of the viewers according to their limited understanding and biasness. I'm just stating what I realised watching the MAD vs XL game when Hyli was playing Alistar and casters commented how he was getting "caught" in the jg near drake, while the truth was that his whole team was near and coming. I listened to MAD comms some days ago and Hyli was "I have so much time, no worries" and the rest were " we are coming". I hate how casters can influence smart and talented players' career negatively. I would honestly hate to watch the LEC supports without Hyli. The casters should be actually trying to keep Hyli as he is the only fun support to watch. The rest are so boring - all of them. There is only Hyli and the rest of the LEC supports unfortunately. I'm support main and I'm watching the LEC only for the support plays. Just saying. What is the casters' favourite Nisky without Hyli? What is Carzzy without Hyli?.. They are Upset without Hyli - nothing.
Hyli is really good but saying there is only him when mikyx is litteraly the best player of europe by a large margin is crazy.

I love Hily, but there are other supports in EU that are good man. Mikyx is insane and has been insane for a long time. Limit showed some very nice stuff and Trymbi is still there.

you know it's easy for you to comment this vomit after you've gained full context of the match, while casters have none of that in the moment. They don't know who called for the play, all you see in the moment is the play. There's no other context.

Im sure he doesnt care playing the same champs on stage but there are like 100 scrims for every 1 stage games.
it's simply not a fun jg meta. you can see this in LCK too. im sure canyon and oner wish nidalee, viego, diana, kayn etc. were meta, instead of this bore fest. i really hope riot makes carry jglers meta for worlds, but considering the fact that they want to nerf the role, i doubt it. i dont want to watch kanavi and oner play maokai, i want to see them on carries
