I cannot help but smile when I watch these videos. You are such a bright spot on this platform, and have such enjoyable, yet informational content. Thank you!
I just want you to know how amazing your personality is. When I’m going through a particularly rough patch with depression or anxiety I can always watch a few of your videos and feel better. You’re such a bright light in this world. Thank you for the smiles.
That is so sweet they gave you a bunch of stuff to give to your Mother-In-Law! Loved her reaction and seeing how happy she was getting them. A fun Mother’s Day gift from her Daughter-In-Law. 🥰 I too have fine hair and it gets super finicky when it comes to curls staying (it’s super straight). I’m not a fan of using too much products, especially ones dealing with heat. As you get older you start realizing the importance of skin and hair care. It’s been three years and all I use now is a bath robe belt to curl my hair. It’s best when your hair is 95% dry. Hands down the best. My hair appreciates drying naturally and best of all, the curls last for days. Better than any heating tool. 😉
Hiiiee!! I'm seeing a few comments asking about the ✨sparkle✨on my lids - it's from this palette amzn.to/45uXnMA (and $3 off right now!) Anytime you see sparkles on my eyes it's most likely from this lol
Yes Clio has some great eyeshadow palettes that are all nice and small and same with EM cosmetics...I absolutely LOVE Em cosmetics little rounded/octagon shaped palettes... They are just perfect!! Perfect combination of colors, nice shimmer shades, multiple colorways..... phenomenal and underrated eyeshadows by far!!! I must admit Em cosmetics is a favorite of mine and Clio eyeshadows are just as good !!
It looks better without it anyways bc of the shape of the bridge of her nose the contour makes it looks bad. I notice that even people with perfect noses still contour them sometimes. I think it’s just a trend right now.
I'm a 70s baby (ancient I know 😂) and as a kid we had a hairdryer that was a big round thing in a case and it had the hose and bonnet attached. Yup shes an old AF invention. 😂😂 Things sure do come round!! ❤❤
I laughed so hard watching her with the bonnet 😅 I'm a 79' baby, so obviously this has been around before me. It's funny watching the young ones using things that are older than they are 😅
I bet that lash comb thing would be helpful to people like me with shorter lashes. Yours are so lovely and long, Rachel. I’m always trying to get nice, full lashes without the clumps. This thing might be worth it. As for that contour thing, you don’t need it. You already have a slim nose and it’s pretty.
I’ve been admitted in the hospital for 10 days now with sepsis and terrible intestinal pain and burning so I NEEDED this video today. ❤you never fail to make me happy every single video❤🥰. I love your whole crew ( Chris, Lo and Lauren)
Rachel!!! You. Are. Absolutely. ADORABLE! In your red dress and your giant blow drying bonnet. I just can’t convey how much I love your content; and I feel that I can trust your reviews. I also love how you’re surrounded by your family. ❤
✨With the lash comb:✨ I comb my lashes BEFORE I apply mascara and it’s amazing. I don’t wear volumizing mascara, and it really makes a difference with lash separation and getting a fuller look. I find clumps happen when multiple lashes get stuck together or when you have a very lumpy mascara. Combing them BEFORE, combined with a lengthening mascara, gives me a full and not clumpy look 🥰 I am fairly blessed in the lash department (with curled lashes, and decent fullness), but I notice big time when I don’t do this.
@@rickiebee6011 absolutely! I use it only when I wear my hair curly. I will say often I only dry it partially this way and then finish with a diffuser.
I love my heat bonnet. I have curly hair so I use it to finish the drying process after I’ve diffused it. Definitely use it for a conditioning mask. just put a plastic cap on over your hair then put the bonnet on over that
I appreciate the fact that you show the imperfections (perceived) regarding your hair, etc. and don't fill your head with extensions that look 100% perfect and then feign "normal" hair.
My grandma had me help her with her blow out curls when I was a kid (she rocked a short curly bouffant her whole adulthood) and it was exactly that bonnet thing but had it’s own table top dryer. It’s definitely not a new concept but it is nice that you can take it with you traveling. She just wouldn’t wash it on trips.
I am the proud Nana of 9 grandkids and as much as I love them they really are walking petri dishes... I'm currently dealing with some stomach funk from one of them, not certain which one 🤔😆 Hope you feel better soon. I love your videos. They're definitely a happy distraction from my day
Hahaha! That nose contour gadget is going to go into a drawer and be totally forgotten about. Eventually, you'll do a clear out and have absolutely no idea what it is. You'll finally decide that one of the kids left part of a toy in your drawer. 😀
I have watched your hair journey for awhile now and I see that you keep your hair up a lot. When I stopped wearing my hair up it came back to life. Not a solve all but if you have not given your hair a break from tension in awhile it may be good to take a few weeks or months off
Literally the only times I have ever been stopped for what scent I am wearing has been for body fantasies pear in the early 2000's and i don't think they make it anymore, it was lusciously scented, i smelled like a baked good, plumeria by bath and body works and cupcake by bodycology and they discontinued that too and i miss it, it was my favorite of the three, i legitimately smelled like buttercream frosting and birthday cake! I still occasionally wear plumeria by b&bw but i am in love with their wild honeysuckle so i wear that mostly since my preferred food scents aren't made anymore
I use the dryer hood as I have a chronic pain condition. Holding a coventional dryer can be really difficult for me and this solves that. Hands free hairdying is a big 👍🏻 for me x
If your hair likes heat for deep conditioning, I love the thermal care Hot Head. It’s basically one of those microwaveable bean bag heat packs except for your head. So can put it on and continue to mom around the house. Also, needing heat for things like deep conditioning tracks with things you’ve said before like your hair not liking protein, etc.
Omg the lines! I workout using an app on my oculus and I have to gua sha before and after to make sure I don’t have a red mark around my face. they don’t go away sometimes for hours. 12:50
What mascara are you using to test the "lash comb"? Thanks, hugs! (Used to love the YSL The Shock that I first picked up following your recommendation and am still looking for a good replacement for that one, unsuccessfully so far)
I don’t think you used enough of the hair serum. When I watched the video on Sephora she used 3 pumps on each side wet and another 1-2 pumps on each side after drying. Even compensating for your hair being shorter that’s a huge difference from what you tried. Also, if you don’t add more how can it provide you any UV protection? I’d say try it again. Good luck 😊
Just wanted to say that the hair dryer Bonnet would actually be a great accessibility tool for some people like myself! Might have to pick one up when I have money...
I really want to know if you can dry your hair after showering with that blue bonnet?? Because I'm chronically ill and blowdrying my hair is just too much most times..
Rach, I have thin straight hair like yours, and I understand the oily scalp ... So, I learned .. when I shampoo I only shampoo the scalp..not ends . .then conditioner. I condition the mid to tip no where on scalp... This has allowed me to wash 1 or 2 times week . Instead of 7days a week. Also, after shampoo turn the hot water down to rinse out conditioner.
I have one of those lash things and I use it almost everyday because I have short lashes and I hate any clumps. I used to just use my fingers or q tips so it is so much faster and easier
"dirt on my face" I literally laughed out loud super loud at that part. Gosh you are too cute! Keep it up girl you are AMAZING! My face always hurts form laughing during your video's. :D

I’ve tried a few colour WOW products now and honestly… I’ve hardly noticed much difference on my hair at all which is sooo disappointing as I really wanted them to work!
I have an eyelash comb like that from J Cat and it works well. It's not an everyday tool but when my mascara is clumping bad it works well to separate my lashes. I used to use a needle and I know that's not safe so when I saw the eyelash comb for under $4 I picked it up.
Do you wash your hair twice in the shower? I spend a good few minutes scrubbing my scalp and I always do it twice. I Colby have to wash my hair once a week.
