I’ve had an oura ring for about 3 years. I really like it. I’ve done a few tests and it is very accurate. One of the biggest things I like about it is that it is a ring. I generally don’t like wearing bracelets or watches. I find the readiness score really helpful. I have an autoimmune condition that gets worse when I’m overstretching myself. And I have a hard time recognizing when I’m working myself to hard. It’s really been helpful to see when I need to recover.

I've had my Oura for almost three years now and I've been super happy with it. Also I have to highlight their amazing customer service - my gen 2 ring had a battery issue after two years of use, and they swapped it for the gen 3 free of charge, no questions asked, and even gave me a lifetime subscription.
On the one hand I miss makeup videos...but on the other hand, I'm less likely to buy products from these types of videos so I guess I'm saving money while still being entertained! 😂 #girlmath
I have to admit that the Oura ring is the best money I've ever spent on a piece of technology that isn't my phone or laptop. I have chronic illness that causes intense fatigue and low blood oxygen level, and it helps me keep track of both! I'm also someone that loves working out, so I also find it helpful in tracking my body's recovery and readiness for exercise. SUPER BIG CON. That's why I will never buy from them again. Bought a dress based on their size chart, but it was too big. returned it for my credit. Bought another similar style but a size smaller because of my previous experience. Very noticeably too small. I was not going to buy another dress from them so I gifted the too-small dress. Tips for the beach waver. It takes a few times to figure it out but then it’s really easy. I can do my whole head in 15 minutes. My hair is similar to yours and I use the lowest heat setting. You don’t need 350. They make bigger barrels and longer barrels. It’s really quick way to get nice curls or waves.

I loved the idea of oura ring and I bought one. It caused a huge rash on my sensitive skin where it started to bleed and peel. I had to return mine, but I am allergic to everything! I loved it for the week I had it. (Yes, I removed it for showers). I also can’t wear an Apple Watch for the same reason.

We bought it before we moved overseas cause we knew AC wasn’t a thing we would have and we both can’t sleep when we are hot. I LOVE my beach waver, its the only way I've ever been able to curl my hair. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but once u get the hang of it, its SUPER easy!
I absolutely love Baltic Born. I've bought a few dresses from them and love them all. When I'm looking to dress up a little more I always reach for my Baltic Born dresses. I've also bought a version of the beachwaver (tried to buy their brand but had issues with the site) and its great. I'm not good at curling my hair and this type of curler makes it so much easier. Unfortunately my hair doesn't hold the curl five-ever, more like five-seconds, but I still love it.
I have a RingConn which doesn't have the monthly fee and still has a lot of data. It's still pricy, but I didn't want yet another monthly fee added into the mix.

I’ve never used a Beachwaver but couldn’t you use the arrow button opposite to the one you use to wind it up to unwind your hair? It makes a great curl regardless.
Yeah their technique was a little off😂and I've seen other creators do it the way you mentioned and Rach make sure your end piece is fully in the clip so that your curl goes all the way to the bottom 😉God Bless🙏🏻

I have had a beachwaver for a while now. Absolutely LOVE it. I have very similar hair to you, I think. It will hold a curl in my hair for 4+ days. I usually end up having to wash my hair before the curl falls out completely and that's never been the case before. Totally worth the money!
Rach II Always look forward to thursdays and sundays because you're videos are so interesting and fun to watch. You have a laidback and positive personality which is unique. The dress looked awesome on you. Will love to see you try the new huda grunge collection and the hyped lataffa perfumes that everyone tries. They have ones that don't have oud in it which you would like.
I have the same hair type as you and I get the best curls using a curling wand that tapers. The taper really helps hold the curl in. The best process is to curl half of my hair, hairspray it, then do the other half and then hairspray it all again before shaking out the curls and they last for a few days!

But this is a place where your "Sunday Best" is what you'd wear to weddings rather than something special and event-specific, which includes your darkest wash of jeans that aren't covered in stains or quite simple dresses/skirts. The only exception I'd say is probably a New Years party, because becoming a human disco ball is just helping with the party decorations :D
The Canadian comment was mostly to do with all the taxes and duties they mentioned having to pay to get it into Canada. Blairshoe it sounds like our small towns are very similar. Except I haven't even heard of many if any new years parties like yours around here. I'm a girl that use to live in a big city and I LOVE getting dolled up. I met an amazing man in this small town when I was visiting a friend once. Fell in love and left the city behind. Even a casual dress at Christmas seems overdressed most of the time, which I still do. Lol.

I got a Baltic Born dress to wear, and i literally have never felt more beautiful. I am also plus size and on the tall-ish side, and they had a decent selection, and the fit was nice for plus! The quality is also great. Big recommend!
I LOVE my beach waver, its the only way I've ever been able to curl my hair. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but once u get the hang of it, its SUPER easy!
I absolutely love Baltic Born. I've bought a few dresses from them and love them all. When I'm looking to dress up a little more I always reach for my Baltic Born dresses.
I've also bought a version of the beachwaver (tried to buy their brand but had issues with the site) and its great. I'm not good at curling my hair and this type of curler makes it so much easier. Unfortunately my hair doesn't hold the curl five-ever, more like five-seconds, but I still love it.

Loveeee Baltic Born, for my wedding, all the bridesmaid dresses were from there! Funny enough, my mom got her mother of the bride dress there too and the girl on my husband’s side got hers there too! I’ve gotten dresses there since then, and I’ve loved allllll of them, super recommend if you’re in the US!

I’ve never used a Beachwaver but couldn’t you use the arrow button opposite to the one you use to wind it up to unwind your hair? It makes a great curl regardless.
Yeah their technique was a little off😂and I've seen other creators do it the way you mentioned and Rach make sure your end piece is fully in the clip so that your curl goes all the way to the bottom 😉God Bless🙏🏻

I have had a beachwaver for a while now. Absolutely LOVE it. I have very similar hair to you, I think. It will hold a curl in my hair for 4+ days. I usually end up having to wash my hair before the curl falls out completely and that's never been the case before. Totally worth the money!
Rach II Always look forward to thursdays and sundays because you're videos are so interesting and fun to watch. You have a laidback and positive personality which is unique. The dress looked awesome on you. Will love to see you try the new huda grunge collection and the hyped lataffa perfumes that everyone tries. They have ones that don't have oud in it which you would like.

I have the same hair type as you and I get the best curls using a curling wand that tapers. The taper really helps hold the curl in. The best process is to curl half of my hair, hairspray it, then do the other half and then hairspray it all again before shaking out the curls and they last for a few days!

Rach is Canadian as well! It would be a great dress for a Christmas dinner maybe or a night out at a nice restaurant or a wedding maybe ? I am also from a very very small town but the town hall has little Christmas parties so maybe your community has something similar?
@@Neosaur *giggles in small rural mostly-poor town* I get asked what I'm dressing up for when wearing extremely casual skirts 🙃😅😂 I'm pretty sure I'd be accused of taking attention away from the bride if I wore a full-sequin number like that gorgeous dress to a wedding, and any community or holiday events you would look overdressed compared to anyone else, even formal ones. But this is a place where your "Sunday Best" is what you'd wear to weddings rather than something special and event-specific, which includes your darkest wash of jeans that aren't covered in stains or quite simple dresses/skirts. The only exception I'd say is probably a New Years party, because becoming a human disco ball is just helping with the party decorations :D
The Canadian comment was mostly to do with all the taxes and duties they mentioned having to pay to get it into Canada.
Blairshoe it sounds like our small towns are very similar. Except I haven't even heard of many if any new years parties like yours around here.
I'm a girl that use to live in a big city and I LOVE getting dolled up. I met an amazing man in this small town when I was visiting a friend once. Fell in love and left the city behind. Even a casual dress at Christmas seems overdressed most of the time, which I still do. Lol.
I love my beachwaver and always get compliments when I use it. I do think it goes faster and for anyone with dexterity issues it can be helpful. I do wish the clamp was longer!
