I love my Kimber Stainless II. I've never had anything go wrong with the gun. I did have issues with the magazines but I bought two after Willson combat mags and they run flawless! I also shoot this gun extremely well!
I just picked up a new Kimber Stainless II in .45 as well. Over the past three weeks, I have put just over 600 rounds through it and it ran flawlessly. I installed LOK Grips to replace the factory Kimber grips as I wanted a little more grip. I now have two Kimber's and both are excellent shooters. My first Kimber was the Pro Raptor II in .45 and my primary carry. I love Kimber so far. Thanks for your review.
I own 3 Springfields, 3 Colts, 7 Wilson Combats, 1 Nighthawk and 4 Kimbers. Kimbers are absolutely fantastic guns and anyone who bashes them are entitled to their incorrect opinion lol… great video!
Hi Sir! 1911 Pistols are our thing. Congratulations on your Kimber 1911. I think I have 4 Kimber 1911s as of 2022. We Love American Made 1911s by far the most. That is all we have in the collections. Also Nice Knife by the way. 🤠👍🇺🇸👮🏻♂️⭐️. B9USA Sr.
Ya I use to shoot a lot more then I do now. The ammo shortage didn’t help and when prices got way out of control I just sat on what I had on hand so I wouldn’t have to pay out the ass.
I almost went with this, but I ended up with a Kimber Rapide Dawn 10mm. I also highly agree with you on the Glock situation. Glocks would've been the best option for those couple and most beginners. Simple, safe, and reliable.
Beautiful gun, Sir. I've shot a Pro Carry II and it was a work of art. I would love to own one of these as a 1911. I think it's a gorgeous piece of weaponry
I picked up the same gun up about a year ago, have a bout 500 rounds through it. Broke it in and have not had any issues with my Kimber Stainless II. Magazines: I run a kimber that came with the gun, a blued kimber mag and two springfield mags. All run great.
Hated my Kimber at first… lotsa problems. FTF FTE but they fixed it and now it’s flawless. Shot it today and at 25 yards and it’s scary accurate. The worst 1911 trigger is better than anything else.
Hey have not seen any update, how's the Kimber holding up, I just picked up the same gun in 9mm happy so far, replaced the Kimber mags with Wilson Combat.
May I please ask you if this pistol has series 70 or 80 internals? I heard in its model name II after Stainless indicates it has series 80 internals. Is that true?
Kimber's use kind of a hybrid system of the series 70 type trigger but they also have the firing pin safety. They do this by deactivating the firing pin safety from the action of the grip safety so it has zero effect on the trigger pull that series 80's are criticized for. It is a very unique and effective system of having the best of both. Love my Kimber's and his comment about the Kimber hatred makes me want to just go get another one. I do have my eye on a 10mm Rapide Scorpius I have been drooling over.
The only Kimber that I've heard anyone complain about is the Pro Carry because of its issues. Everything else gets good reviews from what I've seen. I almost got this one but I went with the Pro CDP instead because I wanted a 4in. I'll probably pick this one up in full size eventually.
I have 9 Kimbers and they all shoot great. I just traded a Colt rail gun in 9mm for a Kimber Raptor and it’s so much better than the Colt. I have a Colt Defender that can’t compare with the Kimber Ultra Carry I.
Can’t go wrong with kimber in my opinion. But now a days I think most companies are making good 1911’s. I had a ria that was bulletproof for half the money
I was a little apprehensive looking online but after having a great time with my 9mm hell cat and glock19 (which is apparently the most overrated gun of all time if you listen to the internet) but hearing other people dealing with the trash comments is making me feel better.
You're lucky your Stainless 2 doesn't have an external extractor. Only upgrades I would do is a magwell, G10 grips (unless you really like wood), and maybe a better rear sight. Zero problems with mine, except for it can get minor rust, which is the only complaint I've heard about Kimbers.
Folks buying a gun for self defense of the home should get a decent striker fired gun in 9mm. A shotgun is the other obvious choice. An AR should be third just to cover bases. A 1911 or a good revolver like a Ruger GP100 or a Smith & Wesson 686 be next. It covers bases and you get a wide spectrum of protection.
Let the haters hate, but due to NY unconstitutional gun law passing Kimber is moving to Florida...and all their people get paid housing for 1 full year. They ARE a 2a company and make an amazing product.
I work in the firearm industry and Kimber is very well respected firearm.
I’ve had 2 and loved them both.
It’s funny how even seeing someone else unbox a new firearm I get a feeling of satisfaction or a quick high 😂
Haha. I’m the same way and then it makes me want to spend money
I love my Kimber Stainless II. I've never had anything go wrong with the gun. I did have issues with the magazines but I bought two after Willson combat mags and they run flawless! I also shoot this gun extremely well!
Ya there is just something about shooting a 1911. And the Wilson mags are great
Yup. NEVER use the stock Kimber mags. ALWAYS use Kim Pros, Chip's or Wilsons.@@ScotchNThings
I like your response when people complained that you did not show your gun safe in your video, sir. thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching. Ya I never understood why people get like that.

Ya mine has been lights out. I put some VZ grips on with a tallon stick on grip for the front strap.
I own 3 Springfields, 3 Colts, 7 Wilson Combats, 1 Nighthawk and 4 Kimbers. Kimbers are absolutely fantastic guns and anyone who bashes them are entitled to their incorrect opinion lol… great video!
Ya it’s like with vehicles. People have what they like and think the rest are garbage

Thanks. Sorry I just saw this. Sometimes comments get lost.
I just bought one of these and absolutely love it! It runs like a dream and is very accurate.
Ya I’m a huge fan of kimber. I’d like to pick up a raptor as soon as I get my address changed on my ccw permit
Beautiful gun! I never knew you were guns also. I've only seen knife videos from you. Congrats on the pick up!
Ya I use to shoot a lot more then I do now. The ammo shortage didn’t help and when prices got way out of control I just sat on what I had on hand so I wouldn’t have to pay out the ass.

Ya I miss my rapide. What a good looking gun. How’s it in 10mm?
Bought mine, last month from BassPro, it's a beautiful work of art. The Wilson Combat clips are the best.
Ya they are the best mags I’ve found.
Nice gun.I have same kimber 10mm and two tone 45 ,love both. And I don’t care what other people think about it.
Ya I’m not here to impress just have fun.
Beautiful gun, Sir. I've shot a Pro Carry II and it was a work of art. I would love to own one of these as a 1911. I think it's a gorgeous piece of weaponry
Thanks they are nice
Iv got the same one and it shoots like a champ. No complaints with kimber
Ya great guns for the money
Good looking pistols, or more specifically good stainless finish pistols seem like they're hard to find.
I picked up the same gun up about a year ago, have a bout 500 rounds through it. Broke it in and have not had any issues with my Kimber Stainless II. Magazines: I run a kimber that came with the gun, a blued kimber mag and two springfield mags. All run great.
Same here. Zero issues and it runs all my different mags. Kimber ruger act. Wilson.
Amazing gun! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks. It shoots so good.
Hated my Kimber at first… lotsa problems. FTF FTE but they fixed it and now it’s flawless. Shot it today and at 25 yards and it’s scary accurate. The worst 1911 trigger is better than anything else.
I agree 1911 triggers are so nice.
That thing looks nice 👌
Thanks it’s a lot of fun
Finally a gun video lol beautiful pistol!
Haha. There will be more.
Did the exact same thing. Bought this very pistol with my Cabela’s points today
Haha love my points. Great pistol
Never had 1 single malfunction with my Stainless TLE II. Would love to have one of the ultra models next. Ultra Raptor likely.
Oh I really want a raptor. That’s next on my list.
Hey have not seen any update, how's the Kimber holding up, I just picked up the same gun in 9mm happy so far, replaced the Kimber mags with Wilson Combat.
I’ll get one done when I get home from vacation. It’s been rock solid. I run Wilson mags also. Love them.
May I please ask you if this pistol has series 70 or 80 internals? I heard in its model name II after Stainless indicates it has series 80 internals. Is that true?

Did they discontinue those rose wood grips? I got mine but it came with black grips. Just wondering
I’m not sure. I’ve seen them with both also.
Very nice!
Thanks.
I hear you bro, I want to buy a kimber 1911 but undecided either 9mm or 45.
Ya I’d like to pick up a 9mm version also.
I have had great luck with every Kimber I’ve had. 👍👍
Ya I’ve never had issues either. Some people just love to hate.
How do you like it? I was thinking about getting a Kimber in 40 Cal.
I like kimbers. I know a lot of people love to hate on them but I’ve never had any issues
The only Kimber that I've heard anyone complain about is the Pro Carry because of its issues. Everything else gets good reviews from what I've seen. I almost got this one but I went with the Pro CDP instead because I wanted a 4in. I'll probably pick this one up in full size eventually.
Ya I’ve never had an issue with them. Think they are nice guns but some people have issues with them and probably have never handled one.
I have 9 Kimbers and they all shoot great. I just traded a Colt rail gun in 9mm for a Kimber Raptor and it’s so much better than the Colt. I have a Colt Defender that can’t compare with the Kimber Ultra Carry I.
Ya I think they are great guns. And people just like to bag in them when they probably don’t even have a too compare them to.
Not gone bust your balls because I own one one these handguns I love it.
Ya I’ve had zero issues with any kimber I’ve owned. Guys like to bust on them but it’s like that with just about everything.
Mine came with stupid rubber grips....good luck on the rust I got mine with a couple rust spots on it
I’ll keep an eye out for it. So far so good.
@@ScotchNThings I keep mine in a gun sock after I cleaned the rust off put it in a gun sock
Hi are there any differences between this and the rapide? I’m looking to buy a Kimber soon.
I’m sure someone will say there is but hon this one shoots the same it’s just not as flashy looking
@@ScotchNThings Ok awesome thanks. I really have been eyeing up the Agent 2 nighthawk but it’s so darn expensive.
so its been 11 months now do you still like it? I'm thinking on buying a 911 just not sure what brand.
Can’t go wrong with kimber in my opinion. But now a days I think most companies are making good 1911’s. I had a ria that was bulletproof for half the money
just bought a kimber im used to glocks. hopefully im making a good choice
Glock fan boy also. But man I’ve really come to love 1911’s
Beautifull gun!! How Mach is it ,one like this?
Man it was a over a year ago. I want to say it was maybe 700-800. But not 100 percent on that.
I was a little apprehensive looking online but after having a great time with my 9mm hell cat and glock19 (which is apparently the most overrated gun of all time if you listen to the internet) but hearing other people dealing with the trash comments is making me feel better.

Ya zero issues. I swapped over to vz grips
Real 1911's dont have an external extractor.
I could never imagine selling or getting rid of a gun i bought? Are you that hard up for space?
No

Me to i love my kimber
🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Ya they are great. I’ve never had an issue.
@@ScotchNThings i like this my kimber .45 acp
you demonstrate a cleared weapon upon handling to teach novices bro. wow.
They probably think they could get shot through the camera 📷
I know. I’m still safe but they just don’t get it.
Awww mane I still have the rock island 1911 😞
The rock is a great 1911. Honestly I can’t tell the difference
@@ScotchNThings dont lie to the poor guy 😂rock islands are not bad by any means but its no kimber...
Let the haters hate, but due to NY unconstitutional gun law passing Kimber is moving to Florida...and all their people get paid housing for 1 full year. They ARE a 2a company and make an amazing product.
Yep I’ve been a fan ever since I first shot my brothers. He’s never had an issue with the 2 he has and my rapide ran great.
And I like it when these companies show the states that they can take their business elsewhere
@@ScotchNThings I wish more companies would follow their lead.
If they did maybe it would help to wake up some people
@@ScotchNThings Amen!!!!!
I have seen alot of people like that very dangerous with firearms.
Like what
ignore the safety morons and haters. such clowns. i just got one of these yesterday/
Nice they are so nice for the price. And ya those guys drive me crazy
Why be a hater on teaching people to properly clear a weapon? May save a life or limb.
I just bout a Kimber
Enjoy it. Nice guns.
Bass pro salesmen are rude and have no idea what they’re talking about. Absolutely hate going to the gun counter there.
Ya it’s like they got rid of the guys that knew anything and were shooters.
Kimbers do not suck! Its the user 🤣
worst unboxing ever! sitting at a work bench and you cant think to grab the right tool for the right job? maybe try shooting off the tape and tag? lol
