This looks amazing. As someone who customizes gameboys, I think customizing a console seems so much more practical as it is stationary and should keep in very good condition.
Customizing an Xbox or whatever seems really hard haha would sound fun though!
Very pretty console. That’s a keeper. There was absolutely no need to even decorate the underside but that spider logo is gorgeous.

100/10 that's an Awesome build!! the Rattling drive is normal, mine actually does that, think the gear in the ejection mechanism can wear down a bit and "Chatter"like that.. but otherwise one of the best custom builds I have seen in a while...

Clock battery might not be dead, if the time isn't set then it doesn't spin. Had quite a few where you just set the time and it'll start spinning again (even after reboot)

Not sure about the red trimming on the disc tray or in that part where the heat sink is, I feel like you should add paint near more sensitive components but I’m sure the dude knew what he was doing so it’s fine I guess. Otherwise, not a bad custom job at all.

When you said you would show the led in the memory card I knew you would forget lol awesome console.
You know when you go to console configuration and go to the time settings, press X and then press X again, the blue orbs will start moving again. Done it plenty of times on my PS2 slim when I had it and I unplugged it whenever I went to my cousins

Is it just me or does 230 usd sound really cheap? Unless they can like mass produce this I can't see how this wouldn't take atleast like 5 hours to do.

yes, he could've done bubble wrap or something that you could just wrap around and tape off, but that's some awesome effort into making sure the presentation is still there, opened or not, doesn't matter if it doesn't add any value

I want an old fat PS2 and an original Xbox but I do not have an old CRT tv anymore.
Just need a flat-screen with composite inputs.
@@retrozilla2023 I am gaming on a Samsung 1080P tv with a PS2 Slim using HD Retrovision Component cables and ESR discs I burnt with widescreen patches embedded. I must say it's not bad but it isn't ideal. I may just purchase a GBSC-AIO since I play a lot of PS2 lately.
@@cemsengul16 Interseting i use components as well when gaming on ps2, it looks good but yes it can always look better! I have a Backwards compatible PS3 for 1080 output on ps2 games but I try to save that for only a few times a year to not wear out that bc ps3.
@@cemsengul16 but yea the fat ps2 might be able to run components and ogxbox can for sure run component cables so you don't need a CRT to use them, to address your original comment.
ps2 is awesome but I would rate it a 9.8 out of 10 It's awesome but I like the normal black ps2 because I like it more that way or it could be a blue ps2.

The controller and console look really good, apart from the small imperfections is looks like something you could buy from Sony.

i would say the only way this thing could have been any better was if it had a network adapter done up to match the system. otherwise it is pretty cool especially for the cost. i really don't see how they really make much money with how much time he likely spent modding that thing to such high standards.

The $230 price is ok for this console.
The plug for the controller looked like it had some decal too (at the end of it), unless I'm imagining that?
I feel the logo on the bottom should have been on the top.

Regarding the disc drive shaking, it might need to be relubed. Either that or the teeth on the gears are bad.

The only way to wipe everything off A PS2 memory card it's by the deleting the playstation 2 Memory car logo Inside the memory
