    I cant get this but I will say its much better to get the LG one than the GE. Far better serviceability and reliability.

    You'll need a ladder to clean out the lint filter only every month or 30 days 😅 for me to say id change over the load to the dryer within an hour rarely happens it's the thought that counts, actually nothing better than someone else who has to do laundry emptying my load into the dryer but I will definitely be hearing about it and get this sometimes their even folded up and now only $3K later theirs a little more time for whatever without any clothes getting smelly...

    Being a front loader, do you still gave to leave the door open on this unit so that it dries and doesn't form mold?

    • @tinkerinWstuff
      @tinkerinWstuff 6 месяцев назад +3

      Probably not because it dried your clothes. There’s no moisture to mold.

    • @spazzman90
      @spazzman90 5 месяцев назад +3

      Not so much. The machine is pretty much bone dry after a cycle save for a few drips here and there. Having said that, the manual does suggest leaving the door open after a load, and it has the magnet system to keep the door cracked open like other new LG dedicated washers.

    How much space it's needed at top? And why lint filter is there and you can't close/use that space?

    • @lghapassport
      @lghapassport  5 месяцев назад

      You need just under 13" at the top (might be able to get away with less based on your needs). The filter is at the top so it can be in-line with the heat pump system. The design is engineers to be easy-to-use, incredibly effective, and very reliable.

      Our Version 2 LG Heat Pump is, I think much better than our previous versions. Plus, the drum is a little larger (more space for air), and TurboWash 360 means 29-minute wash cycle - so even though the dryer cycle is a little longer, the shorter wash cycle makes up for it.

      @@lghapassportthanks that makes sense! What is the heatpump BTUs and what is the dry cycle air flow CFM?

    Can you adjust the water level for the load?
    What are the volumes of water used per selectable load size?

    • @lghapassport
      @lghapassport  6 месяцев назад

      Because of the sensors to detect fabric type, load size, and soil level: this model curates a wash (and dry) cycle - including water usage! But TurboWash 360 and EnergyStar rating ensure we use as little water as possible to get the best clean.

      @@lghapassport Thanks!
      Please relay back to product team:
      The reason it would help to manually add *more water* to wash & rinse cycles: say user has used additives like washing soda or oxygen bleach. Additional water during wash & rinse would help to clean away the residue from these powders. Sensing load size can't determine if additives were used.
      The new GE Profile Ultrafast combo has an option to add 3 more gallons of water to wash & rinse; if you select it for the wash cycle, it will also add it to the rinse cycle.

    • @spazzman90
      @spazzman90 5 месяцев назад +1

      This unit will let you select 1-3 extra rinses if you would like to really make sure all your product is removed. To add, this unit uses quite a bit more water than my older 14 year old LG. It is not stingy with it like before.@@MadLadsAnonymous

      @@spazzman90 Thanks so much for the reply.
      Sounds like Towels cycle uses the most water on LGs; I keep looking for reviewers to record a small or no load tub set to this so I can gauge the water level. On an Electrolux, it's typically the Jeans cycle for some reason that uses more water on the main wash cycle.
      The combo looks great so far, just want to make sure it can actually clean a large load (e.g. crusted park stains on kid's clothes)

    • @spazzman90
      @spazzman90 5 месяцев назад

      They basically started off with a WM6700 washer and added a dry cycle to it. Anything that applies to that washer, will apply to this one. I've been using the AI wash cycle for anything except bedding. It has done excellent with washing. Of course drying is going to be a longer affair than you are used to. @@MadLadsAnonymous

      Hi Peterrabbit. Yes it is, all parts that are meant to come in contact with water are coated. Check out our video on LG Fresh Laundry Rooms to learn more, or you can also take sales training via ReachLG.com in whihc we cover this in the laundry curriculum.
