Yes. This actually works. Because it works on your lips, jaw muscles, your tongue, your tonsils, voice box and breathing. Try it for a few minutes each day, or throughout the day. Kids do it all the time, and it helps them speak clear words with precision. Pitch thing also helps in increasing the voice bass and deepen it.
I have been learning voice training for narration, in that there's one exercise like this one but this Vinh's version is with more steps. I shall also try this for my voice. Thank you Vinh❤❤❤

PS- if you let your voice out in heavy pitch for few days, you'll get used to that voice.
If you use lighter force/pitch, you're voice will get used to that pitch level.
it's more useful when you do it for all pitches like "Do (normal voice pitch at you have no trouble speaking) Re (higher pitch than before) Mi (higher pitch than before) Re (lower pitch than before) Do (lower pitch than before, or normal voice pitch)"
    Or
    The rhythm is "1 2 3 2 1".
    Hope this helps.

One reason i believe this would work is that this makes your lips somewhat act like your vocal cords, that is, they produce sound while vibrating. And while trying this, I noticed that, I am not able to have a constant pitch or at times my lips won't flutter. So doing this might help me adjust my voice/volume to the point where I'm able to perfect the vibrations of my vocal cord.

Singers do this exercise to practice using the exact amound of air when singing

  • @justahuman9273
    @justahuman9273 9 месяцев назад +7

It helps very much, great exercise, do it all the time!
But remember folks, there is more to it than just doing this.
You really gotta study your habits and correct them.
You can do it in front of the mirror.
And feel around your neck, it should never ever tighten up and your shoulders should stay relaxed at all times.
The breath has to come from the front, don't press on your neck, don't press on your cheeks and don't press on your nose.
    Basically: Don't press.
    Stay calm.
Your vowels NEED to stay connected in order for your words to come out clear and the breath to stay connected.
You gotta stay connected to your lungs.
The vowel has to be in a low position, like Darth Vader.
It should be clear, the italian way of speaking.
Like you actually mean what you say!
And it should also be connected to your mask, for your high AND low register, very important!
To get the connection, set your lower vowel first, then pull up your nose like "EW IT STINKS" like a little child.
Don't close your mouth, give it enough space for the vowel, but stay relaxed.
You can make an "ing" sound to get the feeling, like the resonance, the ringing you could say.
You can turn it into an "ah" again from that position, but the transition from "iih" to "aah" should be smooth, so your tongue needs to stay relaxed and your mouth stays and your mouth stays the same pretty much in that moment, only your tongue position switches, but let it stay relaxed and do it naturally. Your nose stays UP like "EW" very exaggerated.
    DON'T. PRESS. ON. YOUR. NECK!
DON'T PRESS ON YOUR NOSE EITHER!
Let the air do it FOR you.
Instrument work the same and imagine yourself as a Cello.
The air controls your voice, any push or strain falsifies your sound and damages your vocal chords.
The angle in your mouth needs to not be too small and not too big, so that high and low notes stay connected, so that no matter what, you sound like the same person.
Always think: Air, air, air! From the front.
    Mean what you say.
    Find your vowels
    Like "In myy opinion"
    Like "Mamma mia".
All vowels should stay connected at all times to form your sentences.
And the breath continues, it NEVER stops.
So many details, but this is just kinda an idea about how much there is to study on singing / talking! :)
