I don't know about the Tygar or Aventus as comparisons to Elysium. To me, the smoothness and citrus more compares to a blue scent. More like a high end Bleu de Chanel.
I bought a 5ml decant and every time I feel like wearing it, I ended up going with BDC epd instead. I ended up trading away my bdc recently so maybe now I will wear it more.
I agree that the Parfum Extrait Elysium is probably a better buy because it's a more unique scent.

I have fragrance addiction, so I can't relate. I literally keep every fragrance like an episode of hoarders. If I'm not happy with the fragrance I give it to a friend. So far no regrets.
Just got a backup bottle of Prada Amber last week, my favorite frag.
I regret not keeping my bottle of Sean John’s 3AM. Great hot weather cheapie, picked up a brand new 3oz bottle for $15. Apparently it got discontinued and bottles are going for absolutely absurd prices now 😂

Dunhill Icon is one of my favorite fragrances, I've just ran out but will definitely be getting another bottle. It's a shame you only got 2 hours as I get a decent 6+ hours

I gave away Zaharoff Seraphim Blue. To me it’s smells like SF Acqua Essenziale Blu all over again…

L’homme idéal Cologne was rebranded to l’homme idéal platine privée. It’s 100% the same to my nose.

I own elysium, and it's a 10/10 for me. You can dress it up and dress it down, and i always get a compliment whenever i wear it
If you guys want roja elysium and $$ is issue ,But love the dna get Fa paris Divine Asylum the best so far
Xerjoff would be cool but I think checking out the Vertus would be more up your alley
Forget overpriced Elysium, try Imperium. Excellent clone.

Dunhill Icon is a staple in my collection. On of my favorite and most used scent for a summer!

I miss my Initio Side Effect. I sold that and Nishane Hacivat for a bottle of Nishane Nefs. Nefs is a masterpiece so im not mad, and I thought Side Effect and Nefs were redundant in use (not scent) Hacivat wasnt for me, but I miss that sexy fruit punch vibe from Side Effect
I traded for Dunhill Icon, and I have finished the bottle. The girl behind the counter at Dunkin Donuts told me I smell like a fresh Spring Breeze when wearing it. It was my dumb reach gym, grocery fragrance, so I probably wont purchase it again unless its to round out free shipping or a deep discount.
I have alot of stories with some of these. In 2015 I was in a night club in Fort Lauderdale and a random girl bit me on my neck and told me that i told me I smelled good Wearing Luna Rosa Sport. My nose has matured, so Im not sure I want to buy again, but for the right price I will

Prada Amber - most luxurious and most opulent clean scent
Grey Vetiver - fresh black tie scent
Elysium Eau Intense - cold and brisk freshie
I owe around 250 bottles of fragrances. It doesn't matter what I wear but I always come back to Grey Vetiver edp. It's simple, clean, gentlemanly and it has that JFK air about it. My wife loves it too which is great. It's in her top 3 on me. I'm probably on my 10th bottle so far. Oh David Bowie loved it too according to his wife.
EN sport bought blind buy like it so much I bought a backup (fear of reformulations will do that I suppose :)) )
I also got rid of Elysium, Grey Vetiver, Amber Pour Homme & Profumo, but I'm still really glad that they're gone! I recently got Icon back though, that one's a great cheapie.

Elysium is ridiculously priced as are many Roja fragrances. Genuinely think it smells like a £20 fragrance, in fact its very similar to a mercedes i picked up in tk max for £15 a few years ago, i think it might have been the cologne or the silver.
I live in Grays. So yeah.. space is definitely not infinite here in England😂 these are the smallest houses/apartments I have ever seen. Even the “king” size is ridiculously small.
Elysium "Parfum Cologne" does not last more than two hours on my skin. I have heard that decanting that fragrance can cause it to not last anymore. Not sure if that's true, but my 3 ml sample does not last at all.

@@SchoolOfScent It is Limited Edition but they are still making it, they are still selling it on their website and I see it on Fragbuy once in a while. Just doesn’t understand why Guerlain change their bottles and names on their perfumes all the time, kinda frustrating tbh

Grey Vetiver EDT is awesome, that's how you make a modern vetiver fragrance. Class in a bottle for sure. Guerlain Vetiver ... couldn't wear it as the the old school vetiver is way too strong in it.
