Thanks for giving Eau Sauvage EDT some love. I've worn it for years, in it's current formulation and vintage versions. I actually just picked up Eau Sauvage Parfum and was happy to detect the OG DNA in it. I agree, both are masterpieces. I also have all three versions of Encre Noire and love them all. I especially love wearing Sport during the summer. So so good!

Agree with all you had to say about Alexandria II but in the end I opted for Alexandria Orientale.
I got Dior Eau Sauvage EDT recently since I'm running out of ADP Colonia Essenza. Both are very similar, but Eau Sauvage is more smoother and lighter, and that's why I picked it up.

I have most of the Dior homme line and Dior homme 2020 gets me the most compliments.

Won't be able to find it these days but Lanvin Avant Garde was JPG Le Male Elixir predecessor. It utilized beeswax instead of honey though
Hey, what do you think of Abercrombie & Fitch Authentic? I got it around 5 or 6 years ago and I simply loved the fragrance, actually thought I was going to buy it for the rest of my life, and that is the one that got me into loving fragrances, but I never heard anyone talking about it, so I imagine its not "good".

Encre noir al extreme is so dark, i roo think it is a great scent but struggle with its wearability. Most of the time i wfh so can rock this easily
Antaeus is awesome. Not for young guys but id say 35 and up, elegant masculinity
L'homme ideal edp is unique and better than the extreme version
Always told Encre Noir Extreme smells way better than its (very low) pricetag; it's one of my prefered scents, very balsamic and dry... i find it kinda versatile overall. Also, what do you think is 'better' betwen AdP Oud and Chopard Oud Malaki? I never tried the first one but the second smells awesome and it's an accessible 'oud' frag. Obviously not a real oud fragrance (like AdP), but definitely has that vibe.
I don’t think ADP Oud is real Oud either but is my preferred choice between the two.
@@SchoolofScentis it a waste of money to buy the original alongside the Lalique Encre Noir L’Extreme since they might smell the same, or do they not? The extreme seems better from the reviews, but the original has been described as a dark and mysterious fragrance, and I really desire that. I know you’re not a fan of the original, but is there any other fragrances that are affordable, dark, masculine, villian-ish and sexy?
Oud Imperial by Perris Monte Carlo is a hidden gem in my opinion. Woody, dark, dry and classy. And I am pretty sure they actually use real oud.

Alexandria smells like warm sand in the desert. Very interesting dna. If you want that on budget go for somens arena or ormonde jayne xandria.

Nice content! YSL Le Parfum has 0 performance on me and minus projection. It is severely watered down during the last years. IMO Dior Eau sauvage extreme (or Parfum) is better and more complex.

a bit too funky, it is more of a concept fragrance rather than a wearable one, sport is much more easy to wear
I don't know why, but on Notino in my country the original costs 22 euro while the sport flanker is 60 euro..

For me alexandiria II didn't smell like anything at the begining like pure alcohol and in the drydown was super subtle and I used 3 sprays. Mayny I'm broken

Alexandria II is good when it dries, but the opening smells like infant poop.
i would argue most natural oud frags smell 'poopy'in the opening. It's a challenging note but i can see its appeal.
I like the stankyness weirdly enough. It’s quite intoxicating and especially with the other notes it’s one of the best fragrances I’ve smelled and I’ll buy a full bottle one day.
