@@WatchCrunchOfficiali thought my end all would be a omega speedmaster......now im saving up for a iwc minute repeater in white gold.....so yèah, game aint over
The Aqua Terra is such a lovely watch, and the blue dial is stunning. I have the AT Bond with the framed date at 3 o’clock. I had it serviced for the first time this year. Since it has been back I have added it into my rotation, but as it is summer my 300M on rubber seems to stay on the wrist beyond the typical rotation schedule. You could say I’m fan of SeaMasters with a 1958 SeaMaster rounding out the SeaMaster collection. Still like most enthusiasts the battle for wrist time seems to be a constant presence. I was very fortunate to be able to acquire a GMT Master II BLNR from my AD in 2015, and keep my AirKing in the rotation as well. My AirKing has the engine turned bezel and is such a comfortable piece to wear!
@@vadik1074I think you made an awesome choice. I own the 38.5mm and have a 16cm wrist. The 41mm has more aftermarket metal bracelet. I’m more of a full steel when it comes to an everyday watch and the 19mm lug width of the 38mm is slim to none.
Hey! I've got that Aqua Terra. I got the bigger case size though. Definitely a great watch. Just be prepared for the high polish on the bracelet to scuff up...A LOT.
I bought a 41 mm aqua terra on rubber. The lightish blue grey. Haven’t picked up another watch of mine since. For the price paid, and the quality received, you really can’t beat what is offered. It’s soooo high quality. And as a guy who wears blue and gray and tan suits for work everyday, it goes with all
I bought an Aqua Terra 38mm in white (latest model) a year ago and it basically killed the hobby for me! Have sold my other watches off now, AT and a G-Shock is all you need.
Video checks out…bought the aqua terra black 41mm not too long ago. It’s the only watch on my wrist now. Have a breitling too and it’s just sits there. I want to get a black bay but I know it’s only going to join the others cause the AT stays on the wrist 😅
Mhm.. I just got in the game accidentally. I wanted to buy myself a nice watch and I was checking out different ones. Compared them, started to read about the brands history and stuff like that. Finally I found THE ONE and bought it. Now the problem is.. as you can tell i came across a lot of great watches and they are haunting me😂 Now I'm looking for the next one and already came across some great watches too 😂 I don't think it can ever end for me. Just got hooked up like hell
I got a Rolex explorer II a few months ago and since then I have felt a shift and really haven’t wanted to buy watches as much as I used to, I even stopped consuming as much watch content and haven’t produced any of my own new videos on my channel. I feel like I have climbed the mountain and found the one watch that will stay with me forever. My Rolex oyster perpetual is also a great contender as it’s more dressier yet still sporty. I’ll always love watches and I’ll get back to making content but I don’t think I’ll buy a new watch for maybe 5-10 years
The AT 38 with the blue dial is stunning!! What is your wrist size and do you wish that the minute hand had full lume and not just the arrow? From the lume shots I’ve seen, the arrow seems to get lost in the indices at times.
aaand if you can't afford any of these but still want a watch with Tudor Blackbay 58 / OriginalSub looks, you can get yourself a Invicta 1953. For a blingy look, get the 1953 with Gold PVD coating, green dial and green/red bezel. It's the one that Tudor copied when they launched the gold Blackbay this year at Wonders and watches. :) These 1953s have build quality on par with Orient Kamasu and a tank-movement: the NH35, which is stupid-accurate: +4s per day!
Great video, great taste! I’ve had the AT (steel dial) for 6 years, and it is truly the GADA to conquer all GADAs. One of its underrated attributes is being a strap hog - it looks and wears great on leather, cordura, Nato, rubber, steel, although the 19mm lug size is maybe why people tend to keep it on the OEM bracelet or OEM rubber. I’ve owned the Alpinist (SARB017) for ten years, which I bought online about 20 minutes after picking up my brother at the airport and seeing his new Alpinist. I bought a preowned Sinn 556 in 2017, but didn’t like the fit and sold it on WUS. I’ve never owned or paid much attention to Tudor or Longines. Respectable brands obviously. I did buy my wife a vintage 1950s Longines on a diamond bracelet; about a month later, her grandmother died and left her a box of serious jewelry, which included a 1950s diamond Longines ladies watch! Anyway, really enjoyed this content and loved your choices.
You can never quit the game with a Seiko, Sinn, or Longines. They are just not good enough. Probably not even the Tudor is sufficient. You want to quit the game? At least an Omega or Rolex.
I bought the Aqua Terra for my husband when we got engaged and to this day (we’ve been married over 5 years) he still cites it as his favourite watch and it looks incredible!!
It's of course very individual - and there is not "quitting the game" from a hobby really, unless you're under financial stress. For me, none of these watches would make it to my wrist. I also like slim watches. For a 1-2k option, I'd recommend one of the 37 or 40mm GS quartz models, plenty to choose from on the second hand market and absolutely fantastic pieces. For 2-3k (again, 2nd hand) you can go for GS with GMT complication or Tudor 1926 39mm or Omega De Ville (some are less dressy then others).
Ideally for a 5 watch collection I'd like to have el primero or speedmaster, submariner, Cartier Tank yellow gold, grand seiko shunbun, Lange Odysseus.....someday 🙏
The Aqua Terra used to be my grail watch, one and done, hit it and quit it, until.. Omega hiked up the prices. So I went for a Datejust 36 instead. Now I'm looking for a G-Shock.
Getting there the SPB210 and the GMT AT are already there with me, the gap filler is a Longines and waiting. 3 watch collection and done! Have several others including a Yema Classic , Citizen Blue Angels and quartz beater watches.
I love the Aquaterra dials in person, but the thickness was a little bit of a turn off. Not sure why but felt clumsy and I say that as someone with a huge Accutron DNA. Maybe because it wasn't sized? Still considering one though
Yeah, that’s what happened to me. I have eight watches and once I bought the AT I don’t wear anything else. And OMEGA just released a new Terra in 41 with the shades bracelet that has micro adjustments so I’ll be buying that bracelet and probably be done with WATCHES or I tell myself
What I find strange about my watch collecting habits is I see a watch that I really really really want. I get it. I wear it for about two weeks. And then I hardly wear it again 😢
Chewdoor can “do it all” besides TELL THE DATE. If you are going to have a one-watch-collection, a GADA, then it absolutely _must_ have a date function. No exceptions.
Nice Omega but a bracelet that doesn’t taper is a no no for me. Why oh why do Omega do that? The latest Speedy is the only one that doesn’t - thankfully as I own it.
The omega aqua terra loses symmetry with no metal border around the date window. Also no indices at the 6 hour mark. At least make the date background white so that it doesn’t blend in with the dial and look like an empty space.
This is true. I have 4 watches at wildly different price points and the one in the middle (2022 Aqua Terra blue teak deck dial) is worn 75% of the time…
$1600, Formex Essence 43, certified chronometer, I recently went to the Wind Up watch show in Dallas and got to try it on. It was beautiful and super comfy, it could be a one and done watch. Probably my next watch.
The Aqua Terra is top-heavy. It's just slightly to thick for me. This aspect makes me not want to own it. Appart from that the all polished look is a bit slimplistic.
That Aqua Terra comment is truth! I have a few more expensive watches and this one gets the most wrist time. It just looks so damn good! G.A.D.A. all day!

1. Patek philippe. I will go with omega black and gold. 2. That one Chinese brand watch teddy told me about. 3. And another omega with white and gold dial. 4. Omega constellations. 5. Grand seiko.
Broke level: Just buy a G-Shock square and realize it does everything all of those watches you mentioned and more, but better. It really does make most automatics feel like nothing more than jewelry.
I own the Sieko Alpanist (SPB210) referenced in this video and highly recommend it! 👌 The gold case and sunburst green dial look fantastic Although it has a case diameter of 39.5mm, it wears a lot smaller on the wrist, especially with integrated compass being within the dial instead of the bezel.
