You know I was not big on the idea of wrapping the bike, but I must admit that it turned out alot better than I thought it was going to turn out. Color choice is a great on, and the tank badging and contrast stripe on the rear fender tied in well. Bike looks better now than it did black
Excellent it sure did change the look of the bike, all my bikes have been Black gloss with lots of chrome my dyna is 2006 had some rocks hit the gas tank looking to repaint. I enjoyed your video you really show how difficult it can be, i have heard about it but never seen it done, your bike looks fantastic. I can fix a lot of things on bikes, but i don't think i will try this. enjoyed watch and learning!
great job!!!! the two tone looks great for haven problems durring wraping! makes me think i can wrap some lmao ! great job keep it out of this rain we just got
Omg.. gonna nickname you STICKER MAN. I remember doing this to my 1966 stingray bicycle. I used STP OIL STICKERS. and a clothes pin with a joker playing card on my spokes. TO COOL FOR THE 60'S
I'm an Avery Dennison Certified Installer, if you decide to try this again look up some videos on prestretch and that will make that rear fender possible in one piece
I like it. I have to say I am biased. I have gunner that is the satin gray very similar to your bike now. I agree the two tone is nice. It makes it pop more. Good job
I was in the Navy and love the Ship gray but you are right the darker gray looks awesome on your bike. Great job on the wrap that shit looks hard to do.
My kind of project, just like when I installed leather in my mustang to replace the cloth seat covers, very long job but so satisfying. Congrats, nice looking ride
love it man, ive been tossng up paint/wrap the same colour in my 18 streetbob. i think the vid has convinced me to paint mine haha, looks like a lot of work.
After watching your video and many many others. I have to say if you are going to take this task on order a few extra feet of vinyl you will need it. Also look up the manufactures data on the vinyl you are using. I found out my vinyl would stretch 30% that means for 10" it can stretch 3 inches. 3 inches is a long ways. After several failures I found I was not stretching it enough. Also I put it on at room temp and no heat until the end once it was all set. Lastly Start off on the Hard part first because I have found its much easier to get rid of the lines and bubbles at the easy end then it is if finishing on the hard end. At least that is what I have learned so far with trial and error.
Looks sick! I’m yanking my 2017 Fxdb apart this winter and paining a similar grey with some white and black stripping. Your vid got me really excited because the color looks dope AF!
Thanks for helping me realize this is not a one man job haha. I’m curious on how the wrap closest to the engine under the tank is holding up with the heat???
Shit, nice man, doesn’t look as impossibly hard as I thought. Wish more people would post up videos of them wrapping dynas. Either way great video, have me the confidence to go ahead with wrapping over the red monstrosity in my garage lol
The gray does looks real good and do the fairing in a satin black to break it up but either way still looks good 👍 and people think window tinting was hard
That rear fender turned out better than i expected! Looks Good!
The little black fender pieces makes it look even better.
One of the best looking dynas street Bob in my honest opinion

You know I was not big on the idea of wrapping the bike, but I must admit that it turned out alot better than I thought it was going to turn out.
