as an avid aquarist with 15 years working in the tropical fish industry, I approve of the mixed content. Fishing and fish keeping go hand in hand. Understanding how to keep fish alive and view their behavior makes you a better fisherman, and understanding wild fish by fishing makes you a better aquarist. Just wait until your first saltwater setup :D

Great video, my dad and I went on our first fishing trip in weeks yesterday. Didn't catch anything but I saw a few carp at least, good to know that they still exist! Tight lines.
After a long time off fishing. Family, work etc . I lost some passion for my time off. So thought back to what use to make me smile and it was fishing. Booked a few days at a fishing cabin. And bang the joy came back. From small carp, but also the roach and perch. Hit ebay hard, got a bunch of Japanese made shimanos because that's what floated my boat back in the day. And have hit local rivers , ponds etc. But this time around I take my son. Your vids is one of the reasons that I started. The pure joy and love you show made me remember, thank you boys 🤙

Hi Carl and Alex you have helped me progress in fishing and you make funny videos, I like to float fish for carp, but used a boilie and caught a £23.5 carp and was a ghost carp.
You guys are real gents all the best for the new content the year, super excited .love that you dont only focus on one type of fishing and making fishing content interesting!
So cool seeing your planted tanks. I've been doing is for a year since I always kept fish my whole life. The algae is the hardest part to keep control of, it's very interesting and relaxing watching everything thrive.

Those guru tied shirt hook lengths with the stop are brilliant for 10-12 mm boilies ,had a 29lb from willow at Todber on one of those ,well impressed .

As an aquarist, I was not expecting fish keeping to pop up in this video! (also consider getting into the chemistry of your aquarium water with testing kits) Carp (koi and goldfish alike) tend to overload small aquariums- hence how common it is for people to keep them in ponds most of the time. Great stuff though, love the chill vibes of your videos.

Hey lads, have you ever heard or fished fairy meadows? I have so many memories of fishing their with my dad who unfortunately passed away last year at the age of 56yrs old. I miss him so much... great video as always boys 👍🏻
Your pike have incredible markings in the U.K. Alex is the Tyson Fury of fishing. He can't be beat.
We also have a 30l Nano aquarium with around 25 red-crystal bee shrimps. Good choice - and your aquarium looks good!

If you are interested in keeping shrimps, you can run a small cold water tank. They are easy to keep and co habit with cold water
minnows once the tank has matured and cycled. Cheap to run.

Funnily enough I’ve been aquascaping as well while the floodwater drains. Great video dudes!
a tip for barble, use dynamite baits robin red pellets always works well in winter and in flooded water use a big lump of meat covered in boosting oil i use cc moore squid oil but it doesn’t really matter just as long as it is big and stinky because the barble can’t really see in the winter, caught a 12 pounder on that from the ribble in preston

More pike content please, love it ! Here in Denmark everything is floaded aswell. But its a good thing, so the pike can be transfered from the rivers and into the lakes to bread early in the year.

I never watched so much coarse fishing before, but enjoy watching your videos. I do more trout fishing and vids. If I get a chance I would like to try coarse fishing and its down to you boys.

Thanks to you guys I'm back from my first 24h trip with my freind Alex at wylands and was well worth braving the mud and wind as I had 4 including a 21 and my freind had 9 including 4 20+ to 23. If u guys are ever in need of a good day ticket water would love to see a video of u guys there
Ive had a carp tank up and running for about 5 years now I normally just buy baby koi fry, grow them up to about 10 inches then sell back to the shop and buy more babies and fish food, water conditioners etc

A suggestion when the river is flooded search the fish near the bank !
Hiya gents. Great video as always 👌 the mini grass plants is called Eleocharis mini, you will need a good strong aquarium light and CO2 adding.. liquid Ferts too will help. If you keep the temp around 25 degrees your shrimp will breed 👌 you can add cherries and yellows with your blues.. soon you will have marine aquariums 😂👌tight lines🐟🐟🐟

Tip while using light takle dont use sinkers just through a hook on the line then the bait, it doesnt make the loud splash that scares them and it looks more natural as it willnfloat a bit
