I flew to tagaytay, had a 5 star room, great food, and spent most days on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. 2 adults, 9 days 10 nights, air fair, food, lodging, shopping, and sightseeing, less than 2300 bucks.

Thank you very much Matt for doing these videos. I saved $500 canceling my other accommodations and looking in Redweek. I found the same dates and it was $500 less expensive and very luxurious. It was an awesome 50th Bday to say the least! God definitely showed off and was the best trip I had ever taken!!! You are an awesome, kind, and precious person! Don't ever change no matter what!!
Very helpful, but the rentals are only available for members. You can register for free, but then need to pay for a membership. It isn't expensive, but I wish you had mentioned that.

Interesting! Thanks for posting! I do have an alternative idea, just by working part time, possibly 1-2 days a month, at a reputable hotel, can give you access to a employee hotel discounts and those rates start at $29.00. I work for a hotel management company and I've never paid more than $59 a night and that's for full service, downtown hotels.
But is this because you are an employee? That wouldn't work for everyone
@@msjuicycouture22 Yes, as I stated in my comment, I work for a hotel management group. However, that's why I suggested working PT at a hotel, for the employee discount. Totally worth it. One of my bellman worked twice a month for about 10 years. He also had his full time job in finance, but was a penny pincher, to say the least! He would travel all over the world at a fraction of the price. Can you say you've stayed at a Waldorf Astoria for $169 a night? 😎

Majority of hotels won’t allow an employee to work 1-2 days a month more like 1-2 days a week to be considered
@@skinnypete3104 Not necessarily, I've worked at several hotels that have been flexible with students and on call servers. Depends on the hotel management and the need of staff.

I spent around half an hour reading reviews of RedWeek. While I have not used it yet, I recommend being very cautious as there are many scathing reviews on the virtually non-existent customer service and/or accountability or communication between all relevant parties. Arriving at a vacation location only to find one or more issues can quickly ruin what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. Just saying. Best of luck!
Expedia, Priceline. Hotwire, etc… are all owned by the same parent company. They just have different subsidiaries so they can control the third party tourism market. People will think it’s a different company because of the name. I used to work at Marriott as a GM, we deal with them all the time.

Just a note, the BBB rating means nothing, companies pay the BBB for a better rating.
We booked hotel Thru price line Thru a mobile platform but didn’t know these secrets! The platform we use has 10000 resort stays flights and car rentals!! No time shares fees but top resort stays! We found resort in Vegas around $400 week on the platform

Hi Matt! I took your advice and joined Redweek before our trip to Maui. I’ve noticed most properties are not protected/ verified. The rental I’m interested in is not. Have you had any issues with non protected/Verified properties? I’m nervous about booking it even though it’s exactly what I want and a great price. I’d love your input! Always vacation at someone else's timeshare. They are willing to rent cheap if they can't use it. If the timeshare knows that you are a visitor, often they will offer you their tours (yes, with a selling pitch) but you get all sorts of freebies: Disney Park tickets, extra nights, dinners, activities, etc. Worth a couple hours of time.

Do you have to go to the timeshare meeting? That's why I usually avoid timeshares, because they usually harass you to buying.

Warning you guys. Hilton Grand Vacations does NOT allow timeshare rentals lol so don’t expect to book and not have issues with some of these brands. Always do your research or call teje properties.

All these websites and hotels play price games, they're based on advertising. They don't tell you about the taxes , deposit per night and the ridiculous resort fees that are taxed and mandatory. At this point hotels are a waste and outrageously overpriced, I could own a timeshare by now.

OK fine? at Hilton and Marriott, if you have diamond or platinum status you would know that since most hotels overbook by 6 or more rooms... direct reservations on a sold out property means that the hotel and central reservations has to find you a room and pay for the room. You get a room for free! and if you have platinum or higher the hotel has to compensate you as well. Either points or cash. read the fine print

Thanks for the video I have been searching all over for a way to get very inexpensive accommodations. I have just one question do you have to attend a 90 min seminar upon booking one of the redweek accommodations? Or timeshare accommodations?
