I muito say here that you are not using him well he is by far The most versite unit in the game i teach him steal haste and put him through aurons road he is so strong he can one shot and be self assisted casting haste on himself and Quick hiting like crazy
My original game on PlayStation 2 I had all these characters maxed out. Every hit no matter what was 9999 and when I broke the damage limit it was 99,999
Hey Guys, Just use Reflect on him with Yuna. Also make sure she has at least 2 aeons with overdrives to make the battle a lot better. Once he uses Curaga it will grant you 9999 life points.
I tried this on my second round against him. The boss will cast reflect on you and will then cast curaga on you, which will bounce off you but will ignore the boss's reflect and heal the boss anyways.
Hardest boss yet for me.. May need to grind. Aoens overdrive aren't doing enough damage and he keeps healing himself non stop. Been at this for what seems like 30 mins. 😢
@@BlooJayyy I defeated him yesterday, it was challenging but for me it wasn't all too hard. If you have BIO black magic, and speed your characters up it gets easier and i didnt used Aeons at all, I was going to use one but it's HP was already less than 4000.
I rarely use Kimahri for much, only when I actually need him. Tidus, Wakka and Auron are my heavy hitters and are very well leveled up before they reach this point. The best thing to start with and it's important to have your characters learn each other's skills. Both Auron and Tidus both knew Armor Break and believe me, that is a game changer on its own. Using that will make the rest of this boss fight easy. You may or may not need to use the aeon but the choice is yours. I didn't need Bahamut for this one.
Just fought this dude. Funny thing, it killed Yuna and Kihmari on my team. Lulu was the only one left and she was confused. The Keeper kept trying to finish her off with tail swipes and normal attack but it kept missing. Meanwhile Lulu's health was restored by regen. The keeper would then use its photon move then try to do normal attacks again. Lulu was confused for a long time but still managed to somehow evade all the keeper's normal attacks lol.
TL DR Charge your aeons overdrives before the fight Start the fight, caste Haste on Yuna Cast Bio on boss Then cast Reflect on boss Then start summoning and using overdrives The boss won't be able to heal or remove poison, and by the second aeon you should be done
I just got back on this and came to to this battle……I failed once, second time go a couple of the aeons to do some damage but sucker kept KO’g them and using curaga. Then I remember Yuna’s Aeon, Yojimbo and his Zamato move…it is based on luck. I paid him 12000 gil and he did “Wakizashi”….I thought damn, I’m dead then survived one attack that brought Yojimbo’s health to 682, he countered the attack with “Kozuka” and gave me another go, this time I paid 1500 gil and he pulled out Zamato..THE END, ended Sanctuary Keeper there. If anyone is really struggling then I recommend after casting protect on Yuna at the beginning, and waiting for the first Photon attack, summon Yojimbo and try your luck. He can end it with one move if he pulls it out.
The Aeon really should do that much damage, you just need to do a little bit of leveling in the cave before you get to the Sanctuary Keeper. The Aeon's overdrive attack is really powerful, and I could do two of those in a row because both the Aeon and Yuna had their overdrive gauges filled.
Best way I did this was start with formation: Tidus Yuna Rikku. Rikku mix musk and petrified grenade. Yuna cast reflect on boss. Get holy on Yuna then override Bahumut (he should already have an override) hit boss with that then hit again with override badabing badaboom boss dead.
this boss just pisses me off... sat for 40 minutes repeating everything however my bahamut cant mega flare i donno if it was the lack of MP he had some how but the boss keeps 9999 curaga on itself all the time after a major attack.
I'm 2 years late but you're supposed to use reflect on him first so he can't heal. My Yuna was overleveled by the time I got to this fight and I was pissed too when her Holy was negated by curaga lol.
How in the world is this possible?! I’m trying like forever now, and if i use Threaten to stun him, and try that again later after an aeon, Auron automatically misses... Ofc I use reflect on him too and the aeons But this seems just impossible! (I’m wayyy underleveled if these are just the normal stats, but it’s my first run ok?!)
Maniak 10 Yea right, That’s what I figured out. That Dude knows precisely what attack he needs to do, and he casts reflect on me otherwise to heal himself. That dude’s one helluva cheater to me.

The order to Win this easy is get Every summon overdrive bar to Max , as soon as The battle start The ordem is this hastega > steal > poison > one attack of each member for exp > unload every summon overdrive one after another. +Kyle Casey Yuna's "Grand Summon" gives her overdrive to the summoned Aeon. If both Yuna's and the Aeon's overdrive gauge is full, then the Aeon can do two overdrives in a row. So, the first attack, the Aeon used Yuna's overdrive, the second attack was its own overdrive.
Hes not cheating lmao bahamutts over drive has an ability i forget what its called somethin like limit breaker but his damage will be greater then 9999 usually around 22 - 25k depending on how much you've put into yuna by this time..
Bahamut is the first aeon you get that had Break damage limit without powering up the celestials weapon, sending yuna down to auron grid to get some strength nodes will make Bahamut strike to max damage 99999
Idk if it’s patched or what. Each time I do this, Bahamut gets one overdrive in, then the keeper uses photon, Bahamut is cursed, and it won’t let me use overdrive again due to the curse. I’ve done this 11 times in a row. Same photon response to the grand summon overdrive. I’ve been trying to kill this guy for 2 days straight, tried all the strategies online. This is ridiculous.
I don't think there have been any recent patches that would have changed this. If your Aeon gets cursed, dismiss it and summon another one. I'd recommend Shiva. Her Heavenly Strike is also very effective. But you must get that Reflect on the Sanctuary Keeper to prevent him from healing himself.
Enrique Gutierrez you have to go to the cavern of the stolen fayth in the valley of the calm lands. you have to pay a lot for him, though. i paid 190350 gil.
I know I didn’t hit this dude with every aeon over drive got him to 10k HP and he casually casts reflect on me and curaga 3 times on himself in a row. Really bru I’m playing apex now or doom eternal. At least the demons don’t cheat smh
No matter how you buff your characters, he will do whatever to mess you up. He's a asshole! No matter how strong your characters are, He will mess you up badly!

This game was wonderful just sucked that it became kind of pointless to use kimari don't really recall swapping out characters a lot though

If you think Sanctuary Keeper is hard, you haven’t met YUNALESCA.

It was a challenge but not that hard. I didn't use an Aeon to defeat him. Was very depended on Lulu.
TL DR
Charge your aeons overdrives before the fight
Start the fight, caste Haste on Yuna

This is all well and good except the fact my aeon don’t do no where near that much damage nor have I ever seen a aeon do that much damage

I did not have bio as I was trying to keep up the consistency by following the linear straight route.

I battled this boss and scanned him, so I used reflect on my team... it didn't occur to use reflect on the boss.
I used reflect on him and then he used it on me. Afterwards he casted curaga on my team to heal himself 🥲 for 10k. I was so mad lol

Mega flare is an overdrive attack not a spell (black or white magic)

I simply summon the samuri aeon (forget name / i renamed him), then paid him 2000 gold and he killed him with 1 shot :)
Yeah. I accidentally summoned yojimbo instead of bahumut. I paid him 15000 Gil, and to my surprise, he killed the monster in one hit
