About 50 years ago I met a very old lady whose parents had come to South Australia with Captain Hahn (hence Hahn's Dorf (village) Worth noting that Hahndorf was established in 1838 because the state of South Australia was only founded, as a free settlement, in 1836. Every other Australian state was founded as a convict settlement.
