Thanks Tim that was a fun video. You must have had a good dose of coffee that morning. Carson is a great addition and has a lot of enthusiasm. I almost always start with a Crackleback in yellow. Cast up stream then drown it and let it swing across at the bottom of the drift. They often hit it as it rises below me.

Hey Tim, I was curious if you have noticed a difference in mop fly material? I bought a rainx ball and cutt off the pieces from that, which work great. But after a few fish, it seems like the tail unravles and I'm left with just where I tied it in. I don't remember having that problem with mop bodies I bought from fly tying supplies.

No clue why, but I have always had good luck on stockers with a size 16 -18 very pale blue egg. 100% in agreement about white wooly buggers. When they rise and strike my indicator, I tie on a "Flyndicator" with a short tippet on.the bend and either a size 18 zebra midge or PT. The fake indicator is simply a bright orange foam figure 8 tied at its mid point near the bend, folded forward and tied at the head. Works every time for the dumb ones!
