Floyd Mayweather just listed his mansion in Beverly Hills for sale, and he will double his money on this deal if he gets his asking price. Originally developed by celebrity real estate developer Nile Niami, this mansion checks all of the boxes for what a luxury buyer would be looking for in this area. In today's episode we look at Floyd Mayweather's Beverly Hills mansion, then we also take a look at his Vegas mansion and his Miami mansion.

I remember in the early 2000s Mayweather was speaking about living off of his $500,000 per month annuity income and investing all of his prize money. That was a couple of years before he hit the big-time in the De La Hoya fight. Good for him.

He's not getting anywhere near $48 million. In LA homes over $20 million have become a super hard sell now, location is excellent and in Beverly Hills which avoids the LA City mansion tax which really helps. But no way he gets over $35 million at best. Don't buy in LA City only looks at Beverly Hills, Malibu, or Beach Cities (Plus OC) to avoid 5% mansion tax.

LA real estate is dead, mansion tax killed it. I can't even get an offer on my home in prime LA for under $2 million, not even one in 6 months and several price reductions.

@@WaveSlayer-Jaxy The "mansion tax" is for properties over $5 million. So, you should actually have an easier time selling. The market is not "dead," it is cyclical. You can sell any house anytime when you price it to sell. Trying to make a certain profit is the harder part. The longer you take to set it at market price, the longer it will take to sell. Of course, that's easier said than done, because the market is constantly moving. But the fluctuations are gradual enough to get ahead of it... if you want to.

@@mvpfocus he’s kind of right thou, prices are starting to fall pretty fast in some areas. LA has lost the hype and overseas money. Maybe lower rates will help in 2025z?

The company is SL Green which initially he acquired around 5% stake in the company (or that was the rumour at the time) which would put his stake at a valuation of over $200 million. That doesn't include, on average they pay around $3 per share annually in dividends, based on his stake, that's 3.24 million shares meaning just under 10 million a year and at least 100 million since he invested in dividends alone and that's assuming it was just a 5% stake and he hasn't acquired anymore since. He also invested with CGI.

Floyd was also a trailblazer in regards to taking the reins of his career at the height of his athletic power through establishing his own promotions company. Cutting out the "middle man" really allowed him to keep what he earned, learning from financial pitfalls of guys like Tyson and Holyfield.

Cresent is ok street and not sure it’s worth much more than $33M

The money he made this year alone from his SL Green investment is ridiculous lol Keep in mind he invested a small 8 figures and it's worth over 200 million in just a few years not to mention it's up over 50% in the last year alone and over 100 million in dividends since investing. He's doing just fine lol

zillow doesn't seem to work right now but I doubt it will sell for 48. quite similar 15k BH house sold for 30 recently on bigger lot. Some of hte ceilings looked below 10 feet or 3meters. 48 pretty much buys you the wildest locations in bel air with views over the golf course. It takes quite a bit to command that price point. It might sell for 25. Maybe less.

At most he’s “1-10% owner” of 9 sky scrapers owned by a multibillion real estate conglomerate. Closer to 1% than 10% would be my guess. 1% of 10B is 100m so this makes sense on paper. Just a guess. He’s the GOAT for sure (for his weight class. Def not best all time).

Floyd’s assets are massively over exaggerated. Yes he’s earned insane amounts of money but he’s also spent insane amounts of money. He got $300mill for the Conner McGregor fight but only took the fight in the first place because he was down to his last $50mill and was being chased by the IRS for a $70mill debt. He even had to apply for a court order to stop the IRS repossessing his assets while the $300mill cheque cleared.
He’s had some huge paydays since but he’s also not eased up on his addictive spending. If he’s selling the mansion, it’s mostly because he needs to sell assets to raise money.
