Vanilla Ice is a smart guy that went from rapper to real estate investor. 10 years ago I saw him buying appliances for his houses at Brandsmart when I was working as a security guard
I met him at a restaurant in Melbourne Beach FL when he was working on a house in the area. Rob and his crew were all very nice and very respectable to everyone in the community.
On top of all that, did you know that Vanilla Ice was one of the best Jet Ski Racers in the World in the mid-90s? If I remember correctly he was ranked as high as 5th in the World lol
*And remember, kids: "Yesterday's **_history!_** Tomorrow's a **_mystery!"_** Speaking of history, remember when Van Winkle was caught stealing from a home near one of his renovations and charged with burglary and grand theft? (I guess he must've just been "sampling" other people's property. Again.)*
He was first "rapper" to have a #1 song (I watched a handful of *VIP* was entertaining but was for the wealthy compared to other home makeover shows) You not knowing the culture backlash allowed you to do this video with no bias *He settled that sampling lawsuit for $4mill In 1990's dollars) but he gets the royalties when under pressure or Ice Ice baby is played/used*
I seen a few episodes. Not remarkable. The key to be a flipper is buying homes with cash. Carrying a loan kills flippers because you run out of cash if you can’t flip it fast enough. He’s the perfect flipper because he pays cash and can hold out long enough to see a huge profit.
Vanilla Ice could have been a footnote in history but instead turned out to be a real estate baller!

@@TheMarslMcFly I didn’t realize that but watched some of his dirt biking videos from back then… he was a wild dude haha
You should do a video on Jeremy Renner, he mad a lot of money flipping homes
You gotta see Jim Carrey's spin off of ice ice baby that he did on In Living Color. lol
Oh man I’m gonna look it up now lol
Do a video on Eddie Irvine, ex F1 driver who made a ton of money on Miami homes
People are still trying to clown this guys 30 years later. It's sad.
@@TheOriginalArchie who is trying to clown him?
Good for him. If the "Cash me outside howbowdah" girl can become filthy rich then why not one hit wonders like Vanilla Ice too?
😂 I agree!
More to him being a One Hit Wonder, hes a very very successful businessman, deserves every dollar for his saviness alone.
There is no way that album sold 600 million copies in total. He must have ment streams
@@viking_nor I was thinking the same thing…

He’s a really cool dude :)
And he's a badass MX Racer!!!

@@vldon5931 thanks! It’s almost done. Gonna do a video once it’s staged.

@@finned958 that’s a good point… paying cash does help take a lot of the pressure off
Ice b black like kamala from d hood wop wop
So what is his net worth? those houses seem very normie
$50 million some sources say $20 but he has said it was around the $50 $80 million mark
He might be smart and he might be successful, but he remains wholly unlikable, imho.
