My dad is 78. He learned tap at a young age and taught tap for 20 years. Was in theatre for the majority of his life. He loves this one. This show is amazing and I am so thankful that they made it.
Schmigadoon had a clever way of using similar melodies with different lyrics. I swear it would put "When the saints come marching in" stuck in my head during one of the songs too. It's fun to recognize them.
Roger and Hammerstein would have been delighted by Schimgadoon! Not only are the cast and crew incredibly talented and dedicated, but the entire show (of season one) is a love letter to the Golden Age musical period, showing it an abundance of respect and wit and glee (or as Major Menlove would say - ga(y)iety!)
@lailadobb9221Okay, but the phrase "turning in their graves" is used as a negative expression. Using that phrase suggested that you thought Rodgers and Hammerstein would hate this performance - that it was so bad and offensive to their memory that it would make their corpses turn in their graves.

Keep coming back to this number prob my favourite love the tap routine on desk tops.
This is wonderfully ridiculous! And thoroughly enjoyable.
I also keep coming back to this number, Ariana's triple threat talent is the best, there is nobody close to her talent!!!!
I love Ari so much!!!
Ariana has such a gorgeous voice!
This will always make my ears and eyes happy!❤
I loved Schmigadoon first season, this is one of my favorites. She sounds so great ! It's so catchy, this song is like a MANTRA!!
Divine.
This and cross that bridge are the best songs in season one imho

Bing Crosby is tapping his foot in his grave
Hi! My teacher is making my class sing this song and sorry for asking but is Ariana grande the one singing? *sry am a K-pop stan*
It's Ariana DeBose.
Most of the numbers in this show are sung live on set. So this is Ariana Debose singing.
A lot of the actors in the show are Broadway stars.
Wow, they may be dedicated but they have no respect for the surfaces of their desks.
Rodger’s and Hammerstein are turning in turning in the graves
I'll bite - why?
