It seems like Smash Ultimate was a great turning point for Daisy. As a long time Daisy fan, its great to see her getting love from fans and Nintendo. For long time it felt like people were hating her for no good reason and Rosalina fans started joining in on the Daisy hatewagon.
@@zerofudou5689I think it got to with MKDD but the hate from it was so long ago I don’t think people address it anymore. Rosalina fans are just mad about debates on whether Rosalina or Daisy are the best,nothing serious. Daisy is still well liked and popular.

I wanted to give everyone a try on my first playthrough with everyone taking turns, but I've waited too long for Daisy to be playable in a mainline Mario, I cannot squander this oppurtunity! Also, if there were character specific abilities in this game, I suspect Daisy would get her double jump from Super Mario Run.

The different badges pretty much cover the character-specific abilities from other games. Peach's float is replaced by either the Floating High Jump or Parachute Cap. Luigi's high jump from SMB2 and Super Paper Mario is available as as the Crouching High Jump. I'm not familiar with how Daisy's double jump in Super Mario Run works, but it's probably pretty similar to the Boosting Spin Jump. As a bonus, Mario Galaxy's spring mushroom that nobody asked for is effectively back as the Spring Feet badge (normal movement feels weird to me now after using it so much).
Daisy is obviously the best part of super mario bros wonder

The high jump badge is basically the luigi badge: higher, more floaty jump with slightly less air control because of being floaty.
Daisy as a playable character makes my heart very happy and watching other people be hyped about her makes me smile each time! 👏😊✨

I'm never touching a single character other than Daisy with this game. This game seems incredible, I can't wait to play it.

i just finished the game (yes i got no life), playing as Daisy was really enjoyable, i really hope she will make it in the next mainline mario game aswell
It officially got confirmed by developers that the next couple of mainline 2D Mario will use the same engine as this game (Super Mario Bros Wonder), so I can see her coming back in the next mainline 2D Mario game
So far Yoshi and Daisy are at 2 games each

To be fair the water world in sonic colors is an absolute highlight of the game. One of the only times I’ve ever seen a great water level in a platformer
14:21 Something else I noticed is how each character acts when Bowser appears in the intro. For example, Mario notices that Bowser wants the Wonder Flower, but jumps too late to stop him, while Luigi panics a little bit.

This is the third 2D game that she's in. It's however her second appearance in such a game for a Nintendo console and also her second playable appearance. It's the first time she's playable in a 2D game for a Nintendo console though.
Her two prior appearances were Super Mario Land for GameBoy as a substitute damsel, which was also her debut as a whole, and Super Mario Run as an unlockable character (yes, the mobile game).

Unrelated to video, but I watched so mush Party Crashers content last night that I had a dream (well, part of a dream. My brain has decided to implement my ADHD into my dreams by cycling between like 5 dreams in my sleep, and that leads to my brain often going through the same part of the dream on repeat, so they become hard to fit together cleanly) about penguins… kinda. Alright, so it was a type of dream I sometimes have where I’m not in it somehow, so this is basically a script with no influence from me.
Anyways, there were these 4 penguins, who were like if someone made good-looking yet wildly inaccurate models of The Penguins of Madagascar from memory, then gave them new names and personalities, and these penuins are in a car, and they drive up to this vision-impaired kid, who’s got like this big Hey Arnold football head. They have a pineapple on the front of their car (since the penguins appear to be TPoM, it’s probably my brain half-remembering something from AHKJ, something about sky gods or dead ancestors or whatever), and the kid immedietly beleives the elevated pineapple is his friend’s head, so he starts talking to the pineapple, refering to it by name and everything. Then, the penguins get out of the car (I think it was blue, looked kinda like an unbranded mix between like a Ford Fusion and a normal car, looked almost like a truck but smaller and with a trunk instead of a bed) and walk over to the kid. He’s startled by the noise of the car door closing and looks over, then belives the penguin he sees (the bootleg Skipper) is his old friend, just like the pineapple.
The kid also has a penguin, but he’s short and smooth with bright royal blue feathers, he’s like how people model penguins sometimes. He’s shaped like a more rounded, elongated bullet, with coloration like a penguin from Mario. So, the penguins pick up this other penguin (who had a name, it started with a t or a j or something. I know it didn’t start with q, w, e, r, y, u, i, o, p, a, s, d, f, g, h, k, l, z, x, c, v, b, n, or m, so it definetly started with t or j) who has really cute and didn’t talk. The penguins talk to the kid, asking where something is (again with the TPoM parallels, they want it so they can go to the arctic), and the kid says that the penguin (for simplicity, I’m gonna call the blue one Taylor, even though I don’t think tha’s right) will show them where it is, thinking it’s just a game. Of course, the penguins think that “Taylor” is a person, they don’t let “Taylor” do anything, holding him in their hands. The kid then says something that makes the penguins think that he will bring them to “Taylor” before he gets in his little pink toy car, and so the penguins get in the car, not even realizing it’s a toy, and they’re off.
The penguins soon realize that “Taylor” (the penguin, not the imaginary human in their heads) is a Galapagos penguin, meaning he’s useless and doesn’t need to go back to the arctic since he doesn’t even live there, so now they resent him. (This next sentence is just my best guess to rationalize the sudden changes made by the hour-long gap between the end of this part and the start of the next) This energy of hating “Taylor” made him a little skinnier and able to talk and British and evil and less cute. So, the penuins then at some point with no context end up in an alley with a human they believe to be Taylor, and so after he doesn’t help since he has no idea what’s going on (oh by the way the penguins are human-sized), the penguins beat him up. At some point in the fight, the bootleg Skipper gets thrown back into a dumpster which was actually something my brain came up with for tonight’s dreams where there’s these dressers with stars on them (taken from a mini-dream about Mario ir something a few weeks back) where for some reason it was a reccurring element in my dreams where it would consistently bring we (not the characters, me) to this weird Wild West themed Poptropica minigame with its own characters and story and an environment that changed every time you went there, and the story was about these guys in like carrot/radish costumes who are attempting to industrialize the land or something.
Anyways, after that detour, the penguins are now magically in a theater, where there’s this evil woman running it, and she asks, after a series of people saying something and something happening, if everyone wants a song or a movie, and she asks for movie first, and a now really skinny, almost puffin-like “Taylor” raises his flipper and so she puts on a movie since someone previously said that no one wants to watch a movie.
It was at this point where my dream was so overstimulating that I physically manifested in the dream world so I could have a panic attack and leave, going backstage and discovering she’s super evil and has used dark magic or whatever to make her staff not notice all the evil stuff, but I snap them out of it by… pointing it out to them. Anyways, then there was another, completely different dream, and then another Poptropica moment, before I awoke in a cold sweat. The end.
TL;DR The Penguins of Madagascar steal a blind kid’s support/service animal, turn it evil, then assault a man in an alley, then play Poptropica, then go to the movies, then I physically manifested in the dream space to have a panic attack, then there was more Poptropica, then I awoke in a cold sweat.
Now it´s HER time to shine! The best timeline indeed!^^
Nick should play Majora’s Mask. The water level in that game is unironically good. Rather than being slow, if you get good with the Zora Mask, it’s your fastest mode of transportation.
I love water levels, but yeah, dolphin kick helps. They could really expand mechanics of them, because visually they're amazing.
