Hope you had a good Turkey day . Dry today and Saturday until around 6 pm . Must take advantage of that . We are entering train season . Had to drive to Desoto weds and thurs. Gave my son to sets of lionel trains and all of the accys . Tunnels,working crossing guards, guys coming out of shack waving a lantern etc etc etc . Grand kids will be happy . I am supposed to build him a shed . Hope you get some time off . Today I am going to get all of the parts ready for projects at commercial stores. Its all about the parts ,wire was 40 dollars is now 160 dollars . Insane on the membrane
I worked a measly 8 hours on "Thankscoming". Working a double today, Friday afternoon and night into Saturday morning. I come back for an overnight on Saturday into Sunday. I'll be too tired and lazy to do Beetle stuff Sunday night. I am taking off next two weekends tho. Gonna get the Beetle back together next weekend, hopefully. Then it should be ready for the cruise the following weekend. (We'll all find out together).
@@HollywoodHornet 3;40 am cst Saturday Have to be at store at 55 and Lind at 630 am . I stopped by Friday and asked the manager if that was okay ,and she said no problem . I will only be there 3 hours. I spent 2 hours yesterday loading parts. My friend was whining because I only paid him 175 dollars an hour in kirkwood . The going rate is about 100 per hour . Theres alot of people that just take things for granted . All of the licenses and bonds are due in December . I worked constantly all summer .When the weather is brutal ,I will stay home . I dont want my vehicles in the body shop . Have a good day
