I'm so desperate . It's been difficult when your sick and in pain and your trying to understand. I'm not absorbing and able to comprehend the word . Please father in the name of Jesus give me knowledge and understanding so I'm able to understand the scriptures and Gospels. Help me to know you better ! In Jesus name I pray! Amen
It is impossible to take in everything, you don't need to, it's far too much. I have also suffered great pain since the early 1990s to date. I tried & tried to find answers to why I was suffering. Furthermore, I know there is one God for all mankind, my reason for believing I won't go into. Most people give up on the search for God, it took me a long while before things started to open up, but when they did, it was like God was talking to me. The main thing is not to give up, keeping on knocking & it will open up to you. My best advice to you, Yvette, is read Matthew 5, 6, & 7 over & over again, read it every night & think like a sprit, do not tell anyone what you are doing as they are sure to laugh at you. Try to relate the scriptures to yourself, they are answering you. Only you & God knows your spirit. Get a Bible with an index at the back of it, you'll need it as you go along, don't give up the fine fight. Please keep reading Matthew 5,6,7 over & over even if you spend a year at it, do it. Things "WILL" open up for you & when they do, you'll start to feel fantastic. Although I was brought up a Roman Catholic in Ireland, I gave up going to Church. I am not a member of some crazy group. I have taught myself by reading & reading the same things over & over again in the Bible. Take small steps, 5,6,7 nothing else until you feel God is with you. Take good care, Yvette. Regards Davy.
I think a lot of people struggle with this, and you have to think of faith like a muscle and you just have to build on it just keep reading, listening praising and pray to God for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and your mind. God bless you.

I've been a believer/Christian for 40+ years and had deep theological studies in the Bible, but have never had it explained so easy and so divinely simplified to understand how the various authors interlinked the chapters with other parts of the Bible. Well done, all I can say is you have done well. One question, who came up with the drawings and sorting via boxes and layouts on the whiteboard? That to me was an anointed work of God. I just started reading the bible. I started with Matthew and read it in a few hours. I started Mark and its remarkable how much better Matthew is. But its not the story itself its that it speaks so powerfully and is so convincing.
I'm not sure I'd say Matthew is "better." Mark is an earlier document, and some scholars believe it was written to be read aloud in one sitting or memorized and repeated-hence its brevity. Matthew, on the other hand, had a lot more time to develop and has a more intricate structure (possibly thanks to the prior existence of Mark, which Matthew uses as source material).

it would have been alot better if jesus just showed up and preached after he died. Now we say he was the king of jews, but the jew denied him. we say he is the lord but he died on the cross, and we dont know if he showed himself to anyone. So confusing story if you ask me. This amazing story is told by others and not him. And infact he says he is not the lord and cant do anything with out his father (god) . trinity is another made up story. jesus was just a messiah like moses and abraham and others.

I pray that God gives me the understanding so I’m able to also read it and interpret it. I desperately want to know and understand the word so bad. I didn’t grow up in church so my foundation isn’t that solid. I also have 2 young children who I want to know God and it breaks my heart when my oldest asks me questions about the Bible and I’m unable to answer them. I feel guilty that I’m having him learn from RUclips alone and I’m unable to contribute much. But this is all I have for now. Any recommendations will be helpful.
Try reading the NIV version of the bible. I couldnt make any sense of the normal bible its a mess to interpret. I easily got the NIV version its in a much more digestable english.
Can i replicate your teaching in my language and reference you ? This makes me understand the scripture more, and i feel many people need this . God bless you ❤❤❤
For those wondering, he does mention the climax, The Passion and Resurrection in the last few chapter around @16:00, the Passion of Christ is from chapters 21-27, and the Resurrection is chapter 28. It’s a little more than a few.

But also GOD perhaps blessed Matthew with the gift and ability at being a great and creative writer. GOD always blesses EVERY single one of us with abilities. Do you have this type of video for the Book of John? I'm going to the New Testament and I am to the Book of John and I wished I could find something like this video for that book. That's a difficult question to directly answer. I see humanity, on the whole, striving to build a world that is more just. However, different ideals of justice are (as is the case with humans) complicated by self-interest. If God is love, then (I believe) humans aligned with God will be striving to make everyone around them feel loved. Some humans do this beautifully, but it's a journey we're all on. =)
Do we evaluate someone (Jesus) whether he is fit to be the Messiah according to 'peoples's expectations' or according to LORD's promises and prophecies?
