Watching these videos makes me want to change careers. Chris has a way of explaining things to where anyone should be able to understand it.
I should have gotten interested in this stuff years ago.
Thanks for the kind words! He knows so much from over 65 years of family experience, but in this industry there's ALWAYS more to learn.
First and foremost I would like to thank you for your informative videos. I watch them all. Second I would like to say if I need any well pumps I will definitely order them from you. My question is how do I determine how much volume I can get it from my well?? Before I bought my property I was renting and had a 40/60 well switch, but the pump died and my landlord replaced it with a smaller pump. now I have a 30/50 well switch, and I get 13 gallons a minute. I ran this test for 24 hours and continue to get 13 gallons a minute after running continuously in a 24 hour period. I have Plumed my manifold with a inch and a half discharge for this test. I need to know how much volume I can get because I am building a half million gallon bass pond in my yard. It will require 2500 gallons a day to replenish evaporation. You have become my first source for pump/well information and products. Thank you for your future reply 😎
Thanks for watching! There's a bit more about your application that we need to know to size a pump. Please give our experts a call (you can even ask for Chris himself!) at 855.329.4519
Easy to understand and very informative. TY
I feel like I just took a semester of a class. Amazing job at explaining!
Thanks!
I have a 16 year old 380' drilled well that has a very low water yield. I have manganese in my water as my filters turn black. I believe my well is fouled with manganese because we run out of water all the time now. I have a four 35 gallon pressure tanks in my basement and I'm running a Pentair pump protector. It sometimes takes the system 2 days to fill the tanks and stop flashing the green light. It's crazy, I can't run a garden hose for 20 minutes or wash cloths and get a shower. It was never this bad. I actually work for a well pump company and they do not endorse a high chlorination strategy for cleaning a well, they are recommending fracking. If I try this chlorination strategy, they say I might loose my pump because it's not designed to pump all the crap that will come off the well. It needs to be blown out with a large compressor. Fracking will cost me $4500. I don't know what to do.
Can you put chlorine down a well that’s attached to a jet pump without damaging the jet?
Is this still an effective method to try before considering fracking? Our well originally yielded 5gpm when homeowners had well drill 40 years ago, a year ago when we bought the home the well person said maybe running 1.5gpm. If still a viable method to chlorine shock I’d like to try before calling well company to discuss fracking.
I want to install the biggest baddest pump my well can handle without cavitating‼️ I will be buying it from you😎
What about Peroxide? Is that as effective as Chlorine?
Nicely done. How can I calculate the GPM produced by my well?
run a hose in to a 5 gallon pail time how long it takes to fill it say it takes a minute that would be 5 gallons a minute run it for a couple of hours if you dont suck air you got enough water for a average house hold a well sounder would be ideal then you could do a static and draw down and see how close you get to the pump.
I’m stuck between a cistern or fracking.
How to research for water level ? Is there online resource?
It is a different website for every state. Search google for "(Your State) Water Well Construction Map"
Same well since 1967 until 2022.water level dropped so far that we'll pipe is no longer in the water.
One word: fracking. All this other talk is from a different planet. This guy knowingly avoids talking about it.
This video is useless. Tell us some more obvious things.
